When I wanted a shoe that was out of stock at her store that I wanted and needed before my cruise , she took it upon herself to get that pair of shoes for me and brought them back to the Westland store where I could then pick them up the next day. Now, that’s first class service!! Thank you Liley!”
“Been wearing Mens sketchers for many years but last two pairs have been poor in quality and a different feel.
Rubber coming away at the toe end. Overall feel has changed.
It looks like they have moved manufacturing to some other cheap manufacturing plant.
I am now actively looking for a different make.”
“Skechers opened a store in York, PA last week. The radio ad said the for the first four days, all purchases were discounted 40%. The sign in the window said all pitches 40% off (see photo). I bought a pair for f shoes that were on clearance. When I paid for them, they were full price. When I asked why the discount wasn’t taken off, the clerk (he was very nice) said there is fine print on the poster saying clearance items excluded. Why didn’t the radio ad say that and you had to be 5 feet away from the window to read the exclusion. You could see the 40% off all purchases from 100 feet away. Another customer said, “That’s unfair.” I didn’t buy the shoes. I felt cheated. Be careful.”
“The customer service is so confusing. Some are really helpful, and others are just so nasty. The info or training given to customer service is all over the board. Every call I have made for mainly the same reason has different answers. The quality and sizing has changed over the past couple of years. I can no longer wear Skechers. Nothing fits right anymore. What has happened to the quality of the employees and shoes?”
“All 3 pairs have gone in the bin within 18-24 months of purchase. Comfortable at the outset, but then deteriorate quickly even with moderate usage (no running or hiking). The soles go flat very quickly indicating poor quality materials.”
“Today, June 17th, my wife and I were treated royally by our attendant, Adriana Victoria, at Sketcher’s store in the 66 Mall in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico. “I bought the SlipIn sketchers. They are very comfortable but beware of the discounts they offer. Since I am a member I thought I could get the 20% off. This offer applies ONLY for online purchases. Alas, I was physically in their store and didn’t receive the discount. Not to happy about that. If you’re promoting discounts at least put it in larger letters and not in the fine print below. Ugh!”
“I’ve been a loyal Skechers customer for years and have probably purchased more pairs than I can count—always comfortable, always reliable… until now. Unfortunately, the pair I bought just four months ago has already started falling apart, with the heels deteriorating far too quickly for a shoe that’s supposedly built for daily wear.
I reached out to customer service expecting at least a fair discussion—especially since I believed Skechers stood behind their 12-month warranty. Instead, I was told the shoes are not covered, with no clear explanation. When I questioned the warranty policy, I got no response—just a flat-out denial.
This was my first time needing support from Skechers, and sadly, it will likely be my last. If this is how they stand behind their products, I’ll be moving on to another brand that takes quality control—and customer loyalty—more seriously.”
“Went to the Raleigh NC store today and we walked out with 5 pairs of shoes. The salesman was very knowledgeable and so helpful. If he wasn't so intentive we would not of purchased anything. Highly recommend this store”
“I bought two different steel toe shoes, these are supposed to be work shoes they lasted for 2 months before they starting falling apart, they were not cheap, I will never buy these cheap shoes again”
“Approximately a year ago I purchased a pair of shoes from Skechers store. The number of the shoe was sn237608ww. They did a major change in their inner soul for this shoe. Needless to say what they replaced the memory foam cushy stuff that was in my old shoe with something I could get in any store. Needless to say it did not purchase any shoes from that Skechers store. Probably will never again because of the switch in the uncomfortable inner soul. I have sensitive feet and those were the only ones that I could use and walk without pain. At that time it was buy one get one for half price. I had purchased a comfortable casual shoe that had the same kind of memory foam that was in the shoe I mentioned earlier in this review. They did the same thing that one. And now I have a pair of shoes I don't wear that I brand you because they switched the memory foam. Did not realize that till I got it home. Needless to say I did not wear those for several months so I could not return them. This is my opinion and I'm sticking to it.”
“Not at all happy that the Bob sneakers have changed. I ordered a pair and returned them at they fit larger and not as comfortable as the original ones, nor do they have the padded elastic heal so you could wear them as a slip on”
“Ordered on 23rd of May and still not arrived and skechers have shown no interest in trying to sort problem. UPS and skechers do not reply as promised. I will have to contact credit card company to see if they can help. I will never buy from them again. AVOID”

Loved their fit but they are dangerous to senior citizens- I am getting rid of them.”
“I was in the outlet at eglinton and warden and met Sage. She was pleasant and more than helpful. She went quite high up a ladder to find a slipper size for me even though heights made her uncomfortable. Yes, I bought the slippers and yes, I would go back again because of the staff. They know when to step in to offer help and when to leave you alone to look. Many others could learn from them. I left with four pairs of footwear, one of them for my husband. I definitely will go back.”
“A guy called Henry at the Fleetwood store was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about sketchers shoes. Because of his assistance we bought some slip ins. Henry is a total asset”
