“I've recently bought 2 pairs of shoes from this company.
What a waste of money!
First shoe, a trainer, after walking in them for maybe 2-3 months (not even walking very far), had a huge hole appear in the sole. Terrible quality.
Second pair were walking trainers. These were even worse, all of the threading on the inside of them came apart after walking less than 300 miles on regular footpaths. You can feel the material breaking away as you walk them, feels like you constantly have stones in your shoes (first pair did this as well, but not quite as badly).
Tried contact skechers and they genuinely couldn't care less. The quality of their shoes is a joke, but the biggest joke of all is a Shoe company, yes Shoe company, cannot even make Shoes (what their entire company is based on) that can be walked in. Such a farse of a company.”

I use my new pair every 6 months do to my planter faciatias and heel spurs. The last 4 pairs I recently bought are a huge disappointment. All they do is squeak when I have them on. I'm considering switching to a total different brand. Very unsatisfied.”

“One Star - Extremely Disappointed with Store Manager's Behavior
I've been a loyal Skechers customer for years, but my recent experience at the Glendale, AZ location (7720 W Bell Rd) on 7/13/2025 left me shocked and disappointed.
I visited the store with a simple question--where is the wide shoe section? When I asked the store manager, she responded curtly that she was helping someone else and immediately turned and walked away without any further acknowledgment. Her tone was unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which caught us off guard for such a basic question.
When we later approached her to express how her behavior made us feel disrespected, instead of apologizing or clarifying, she doubled down on the attitude and told us to leave her store. I couldn't believe that level of unprofessionalism came from someone in a managerial role.
This is not how any customer should be treated, especially by someone who is supposed to set the standard for customer service. I hope Skechers takes this feedback seriously, because experiences like this make customers think twice about supporting the brand.”

“Iâve been wearing Skechers Slip-Ins for four years now. Skechers design and comfort are exemplary. The Skechers outlet at Jersey Gardens in Elizabeth N.J. Is clean and organized. Their sales staff, especially Gerald, were courteous and very helpful. Gerald knew Skechers products very well which made it easier for me to choose my items. The store manager, Schurlles was attentive to his staff and his customers as he walked the sales floor to offer help, advice and encouragement.”

“Been wearing Mens sketchers for many years but last two pairs have been poor in quality and a different feel.
Rubber coming away at the toe end. Overall feel has changed.
It looks like they have moved manufacturing to some other cheap manufacturing plant.
I am now actively looking for a different make.”
“Skechers opened a store in York, PA last week. The radio ad said the for the first four days, all purchases were discounted 40%. The sign in the window said all pitches 40% off (see photo). I bought a pair for f shoes that were on clearance. When I paid for them, they were full price. When I asked why the discount wasnât taken off, the clerk (he was very nice) said there is fine print on the poster saying clearance items excluded. Why didnât the radio ad say that and you had to be 5 feet away from the window to read the exclusion. You could see the 40% off all purchases from 100 feet away. Another customer said, âThatâs unfair.â I didnât buy the shoes. I felt cheated. Be careful.”
“The customer service is so confusing. Some are really helpful, and others are just so nasty. The info or training given to customer service is all over the board. Every call I have made for mainly the same reason has different answers. The quality and sizing has changed over the past couple of years. I can no longer wear Skechers. Nothing fits right anymore. What has happened to the quality of the employees and shoes?”
“All 3 pairs have gone in the bin within 18-24 months of purchase. Comfortable at the outset, but then deteriorate quickly even with moderate usage (no running or hiking). The soles go flat very quickly indicating poor quality materials.”

Alas, I was physically in their store and didnât receive the discount. Not to happy about that. If youâre promoting discounts at least put it in larger letters and not in the fine print below. Ugh!”
“Iâve been a loyal Skechers customer for years and have probably purchased more pairs than I can countâalways comfortable, always reliable⌠until now. Unfortunately, the pair I bought just four months ago has already started falling apart, with the heels deteriorating far too quickly for a shoe thatâs supposedly built for daily wear.
I reached out to customer service expecting at least a fair discussionâespecially since I believed Skechers stood behind their 12-month warranty. Instead, I was told the shoes are not covered, with no clear explanation. When I questioned the warranty policy, I got no responseâjust a flat-out denial.
This was my first time needing support from Skechers, and sadly, it will likely be my last. If this is how they stand behind their products, Iâll be moving on to another brand that takes quality controlâand customer loyaltyâmore seriously.”
