Avoid this company there after sales service is disgraceful once they have your money they are not interested. Bought the chiltern range 4 seater sofa chair and footstool arrived with underside of sofa torn this was rectified by repair quickly then seat pad on chair developed a large dent in centre after 8 weeks numerous emails and calls seat pad foam replaced.. on same day exactly same happened to replacement only worse (sofa cushions no problem with)they said was a dressing issue and I was to aerate cushion overnight also give it a good whack also instructions on the union jack method (unzip cushion and make union jack shape inside!) While I appreciate on flipping cushion regularly the above was to be done several times day and they thought this was acceptable!! Eventually after several complaints they sent out a apparent independent upholster from homeserve he stated that it wasn't a manufacturing fault more of a design issue as the foam pad is not really suitable for the depth of the chair and it would be rectified by a medium strength foam cushion .Sofology have now told me that as not manufacturing fault and they only use the one type of foam interior there is nothing they are prepared to do so if you want a decent interior to your furniture AVOID THIS COMPANY go elsewhere absolutely disgraceful customer service from a shoddy company

Order 2319816/1 Appalling service. Sofa due for delivery on the 20th of February. Arrived and delivered by two guys who spoke limited English who provided none of the professional advise, inspection, aftercare that Sofology promise. The Chanel grey Coco chaise sofa was assembled and the right hand arm had a horrible brown dirty scuff/hole in it. After 30minutes waiting to get through to customer service I was advised to accept the sofa and an engineer would come to repair it. NO THANKS!! I refused to accept the sofa and it was taken away, with customer service promising to call back within the hour to discuss a replacement. No call back was received. I chased up customer service again and was told they could not discuss a replacement until the returned sofa had been inspected! To try and speed up the process I e-mailed photos of the damage and a promise was made that within 48hours I would be contacted to discuss a replacement. Again, no communication was received. I contacted customer service again only to be told the matter still required chasing up and would take a further 3 working days for a response. I hold little hope of them contacting me and I assume I will be chasing them again next week. No idea when I will receive my sofa and imagine I will be sat on the floor for weeks as I got rid of my old sofa prior to delivery. A truly appalling service, AVOID

Ordered 2 sofas on 11 November last, told delivery was 3 weeks. Only to be told later that it would be nearer 8 weeks. After complaining we received the salad on 12 December, only to find that one was damaged. After complaining several times told we would receive a new arm after Christmas. After several more e mails we are still waiting, over two months from delivery and we are still waiting for a repair. We will soon be contacting sociology to inform them we want a new sofa, not a repair or we will consider the small claims court. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Terrible company - terrible people. I purchased a sofa on 9th November and they delivered it damaged and with mismatched feet - it is now the 20th February and they still haven't replaced the fault sofa or repaired it - I still have mis-matched feet. They have achieved absolutely nothing in the last 2 months. Don't call them unless you want to spend your life in a queue. Plus, every time you contact their customer service you will get somebody different. Worst company I have ever had the misfortune to come across

I'd like to make people aware of the flippant attitude and lack of customer services Sofology have shown us. This company have shown a total disregard for our satisfaction with little to no remorse for the damage and distress they have caused us. Not only did they tell us that our delivery would arrive within 7 weeks initially, we had to wait 9 weeks and were told that we had been simply misinformed with no apology. None the less, we remained optimistic and looked forward to our brand new sofa. When it finally arrived, two of what can only be described as the most incompetant individuals known to man carried our delivery into the living room. As they scraped the sofa along the walls and caused permanent marks, we tried to remain positive. As they placed it on our brand new (and expensive) wooden floor, I politely explained to the delivery guys that this was a brand new floor and I needed them to be as careful as possible. We even provided them with pieces of felt to place underneath the sofa legs. I was quickly shushed and told that this was all in hand. The "experts," then quickly flipped the sofa onto it's bottom, causing two large scuffs in the floor. I've attached images of the damage below. One mark in particular is so deep, it's as if someone has gauged it out with a knife. When the delivery guys left, I found another scuff about 8 inches long where they had dragged it in. When sofology were contacted about this and sent photos, the best response they could give was to offer to pay for delivery, £43.50, or we could get a quote to repair the damage. Bearing in mind the materials for the floor alone were over one grand and it's impossible to replace one plank of wood without taking the entire floor up, we were shocked. When we replied, explaining how much effort would need to be made to replace the floor and how upset we were about this, Sofology replied stating that they were unwilling to improve on their offer. Seeing as we have furnished the room since laying the floor, the amount of effort and disruption it would take to re-lay it is completely unrealistic. I'm totally disheartened by this experience. This is our first home and we were so happy with our new flooring but everything has been cast a shadow over by this incident. I would strongly advise people to give Sofology a strong miss as I won't habe anything to do with them again.

Cushions have all sagged and gone misshaped, shocking customer service and was told warranty run out so you can pay £69 and someone will come out , as if I’d give any more money to this company , the filler in the cushions is not the same as what was in the shop , definitely wasn’t !!! Disgusting after just 2yrs and the price we paid that we will have to get rid in 6/12 months , my husband suffers from back problems and falls back when he sits down !!! Shocking company AVOID

Most horrible service, RETURNS/CANCELLATION POLICY includes 30% penalty. They never mention this while buying as they just want to sell at that point. Every other furniture store has better cancellation policy once ordered. Never going back to SOFOLOGY.

Purchased sofa in 2014, needed a broken strut repairing in late 2017 plus springs stretched as no new springs available, cushions also baggy - and we had selected the 'firm' cushions. Now seat is sagging again. Sofology staff (Kelly) says should only expect a sofa to last 1 year!!!! - I asked what the "20 Year Guarantee" banners are doing in their stores? BEWARE BUYERS

Appalling service. Ordered a sofa in July. 3 sofas have been delivered incorrectly! It's January and I am still no further forward! No one will explain what is happening and why they can't get the order right. I can't get hold of anyone. You are only able to speak to someone online and they will never call back. They have no managers apparently? They were on watchdog recently. If you post a complaint on social media they will comment on the post asking you to message them the details for them to look in to it, but that's the last you will hear. They reply on social media to portray the image they deal with complaints but sadly they don't. Google the reviews - stay clear of this company. I wish I had seen the reviews before ordering.

Be very careful with this company, they put on a front in the shop but when it comes to dealing with damaged sofas, they will not deal with it and hide behind reports written by technicians but they will change the report to suit themselves. I have never given bad feedback but this is the first.

Honestly the most shocking customer service I have ever received. Please do not waste your money on this company! Poor quality sofa-arrived damaged, took forever to send out not damaged parts. Then Joanne Carter responded to a complaint e-mail stating I would hear back in 24 hours. Over a month later I heard nothing so I had to ring them and spend 30 minutes on hold. Finally, I get an incredibly unsympathetic and sassy employee called Rea who basically just refunded my delivery fee as a "good will gesture" (that's if they actually do get back to me). The fee is actually what I was entitled to as I paid for a service that I didn't receive. Never mind all the time and energy I spent chasing them and running around of them to make sure they did their job properly and actually delivered a satisfactory product! There was no empathy or genuine apology for the awful customer service. I will never shop there again, and make sure that no one I know shops there.

Everyone, Please avoid this company! I paid £2600 for a sofa which is complete and utter garbage. All cushions are flat even when you’ve flattened them up, stitching coming away all over the sofa - in which I’m being held responsible for because I have a small dog - who doesn’t go on the sofa! I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, please look into their feedback first. Go DFS or any other place first!! Thanks

Rhea rude and arrogant treats you with contemp. Dont address your complaint only send e-mails pretending they have addressed your concerns wont let me speak to a manager. Had to give a 1 star to be able to do a review. Not worth 1 star. Avoid at all costs

Bad quality. Even worse after care service. They try and sell you extra guarantees and extra cleaning equipment but then cannot help when this doesn’t work.

The worst company I have ever dealt with, bought a lamp and tried to return it as it did not suit my purpose. I had to wait 45 minutes on the phone to speak to someone only to be told although it's been on 10 days i will have to pay a 30% fee. Absolutely disgusted, I will never step foot in that store and worn others too.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Customer service is absolutely shocking. Very rude and incompetent. Talk to you as if you an idiot and when you to try to explain your frustration they threaten to end the call and not put you through to the correct department. Had two sofas delivered and both were wrong. After 9months, still haven't received correct sofa. Only person in customer service I found decent was a man named Don. Details they held about me were incorrect so they could never get me passed security questions. I paid cash and in the security answers on their side they had something different. The woman on the phone kept repeating herself telling me to "get your invoice, it will have your payment method on there".... Yes its cash, I know how I paid.... "well we have something different" EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. Wish I had read the many poor reviews before buying from them.

We brought our Sofa end October 2019, the stitching is coming loose, and it is so uncomfortable you can barely sit on it, if you do your back hurts! We have contacted customer services and we have waited and waited for over 5 hours to talk to people... We told them we aren't happy but because we've had it three months there is nothing they can do but send a technician out to sort the stitching, I don't want their nasty tacky uncomfortable sofa, their sofa's are not comfortable and not worth the money, I wish we went to Aldiss for a proper sofa. Disgraceful Sofology, absolute rip off merchants. Don't buy from them.

After several repairs that all failed and months and months of waiting for replys I finally had to pay privately to fix the chair legs and sofa cushions which cost a few hundred pounds to repair. I would rather try to build my own furniture than buy another sofa from this company, AVOID .
