Shocking service and quality. I wish I had read reviews before purchasing 2 sofas from Sofology. One month late to delivery (using Covid as an excuse, of course). Cushions sinking in within 2 weeks of occasional use. to be told to "plump" them up. Really??? Then within only 6 weeks of having the sofas, the stitching is coming off. To then be told that it will take 3 to 4 weeks to get a technician to come round to assess (using Covid again as an excuse-Seriously???), and to add the the insult, explaining that this is part of wear and tear - Within 6 weeks of occasional use? This is despicable. the worst £4K we have even spent. Apart from the salesman and the delivery men, we have had nothing but grief from Sofology. Needless to say, we want our money back. A word of advice to any potential buyer: Do not go to Sofology if you want quality of product and service !

Well the latest debacle has just been unfolded regarding the suite we ordered in December 2020. We had to wait for over 20 weeks for the original delivery. They delivered on chair with entirely different coloured legs to the other two. They reordered the correct legs, which (according to Sofology) could not have been made locally, and though the fault was theirs they still didn't feel so ashamed at their error and lack of quality control to make the replacements in a hurry and have them sent by air mail to us. But we heard nothing - so when we contacted them in August, we found they had lost the order! They re-ordered the replacement legs. Still there was no sense of embarrassment and no effort to resolve their error quickly. No - it would take another 14 weeks until we heard from them again. So end January 2022 -two weeks ago and14 months after the original order - the feet arrived. It then took Sofology another fortnight to get a “technician” to us. He came yesterday, but was not able to fit the feet, as they were made incorrectly. Nor was he able to modify them and cut a groove in them so he could fit them. So we now are awaiting a further response. So we say 'Sofology refund us and take the thing away'. You are incompetent, useless and frankly don’t care a jot about customer service. You don’t even know what you are supposed to be supplying and clearly have little or no quality control. Three times now you have failed. First to deliver the correct spec, then you lost the order, and then delivered the incorrect spec again. You failed to deliver the correct item and then do nothing to swiftly correct your errors. You are utterly unfit to be selling high value items to customers who pay high prices and expect to receive the correct items that they ordered in a reasonable time scale. Refund us then feel free to come and take the sofa away...... 4 days on a postscript. When we called them immediately afterwards, we were promised a phone call back over the weekend. Did we get one? What do you think? No - Sofology just get worse and worse and worse at customer service.

Absolutely appalling customer service. My sofa arrived broken and I was told it would take them 3 weeks to send a technician out to fix it or they would collect it for a refund but that could take up to 14 days. So I’ve currently got 2 sofas in the lounge, my old one and my broken new one that cost thousands of pounds! Not happy at all!

Having ordered a suite in October 21 , Sofology rang me in February 22 to tell me part of my order was with them but the full order would be April 22 . I expressed my dissatisfaction at this and was told I could cancel if I wasnt happy . After processing the cancellation they told me there was a 30 percent cancellation fee . I told them that I wouldnt accept this and that I would see them in court . I have now received a full refund . My wife and I are very disappointed . We were splashing out on a 5K suite , which is alot for us to spend .After reading the other reviews though , I think we had a lucky escape . Dont waste your time using Sofology, use a reputable company .

Absolutely appaulimg service. I ordered in August last year. Its now feb 22. Today is my second failed delivery where they delivwry the onw sofa and tell me they dont know where the other 2 are. Also i have sent 2 emails with no response and today is my second failed delivery qith no cushions The delivery guy also stated they do this everyone and this happens all the time. DO NOT BUY FROM here.

The quality of your sofas is extremely poor and I will never purchase on your products again. I have had my sofa since 2019 and the handle of three-seater is discolouring. We are talking about a leather sofa in a house where there are no children, no pets and with only the two of us always busy at work and hardly ever on the sofa, this is a very poor outcome. I have just called your Customer Service to be told that we have to pay for any intervention needed. Absolute joke! And not that I am surprised as I have heard a lot of stories from family and friends about how poor the quality of your products is, just as poor as the aftercare offered by Sofology. Never again! Last year we had to call again as the foot rest of the two-seater gets stuch every so often and we were told that nothing is wrong.. again.. We spent nearly £3000 for those sofas. Absolutely disgraceful!

Communication extremely poor, our sofa and stool should have arrived in December before xmas, we heard nothing, they were not taking calls so chased up in January, I checked my account and it said someone will be in contact to arrange delivery, a few weeks later nothing happened so I chased up customer service, they said they did not know where it was and would phone back in the next few days, nothing happened again! 2 weeks later I contacted them again and they tell me it will have to be reordered again as the stool has gone missing or request a refund ! I have requested a refund and will never recommend this company to anyone and will never use them again , they take your money and then forget about you ! Hopefully I will receive my refund in the next few days

Just been emailed they have list my order . Ordered end of oct was told 20 weeks wait it now beginning of feb and I’m told it will be a reorder so in total if I go ahead it’s about 8 months , I have asked for a refund, glad I have after reading the reviews. I would not recommend this company. I felt I should write a review to help anyone else who is thinking of ordering from them .

Having paid for the sofa delivery has been arranged twice they have failed to deliver.. Calling the shop they never answer and the call is cut off... Going to get a refund and go some where esle

waited an extended 19weeks, only for the sofa to turn up badly & clearly damaged. the two men that brought it were the most questionable people to represent sofology, there care and disrespect for my property beggars belief, I am fuming that I actually allowed them into my property. the sofa is beyond repair and I would not accept a repair anyway as the main frames is twisted and parts are crushed. Sofologies response, they have ordered another one, sop another minimum 16weeks and no interest in listening and considering a suitable compensation!! I am fuming that I ever choose the company, never have I ever had such poor service and after care consideration. posted Jan 2022

Avoid. Honestly, I ALWAYS see the best in people, service and take issues with a pinch of salt.. not in this case. We ordered out sofa August 13th 2021. Half of the Sofa has still not arrived and it's February 2022. 28+ weeks without a Sofa to be constantly told it's in 'Trunking'. If I hear the word Trunking once more .. The service is beyond poor. The company has lied about our Sofa being at a 'Rugby' depot. In-fact one of their own customer service team said this is a 'lie' it's in 'Guilford' depot. After phoning again.. 2 weeks later. We have now been told that it's again .. 'In Trunking'. Sick to death. £3000+ spent. No wonder they are desperate for TRUSTPILOT reviews before the service even kicks off.. Still no half of my sofa, still the same answer 'trunking' and no further forward 28+ weeks later. CANNOT EVEN GO INTO STORE AS THEY WILL NOT PHONE THE DEPOTS.

My son bought a corner sofa costing over £2000 pounds. Within 6 months of it being delivered the back of the sofa broke, so they can’t use that side at all. He emailed about and someone did come out to look at it. He asked what happened and I explained that my son didn’t know, he sat back on it and it broke, he said he would fix it but I couldn’t wait around the 2 hours he said it would take so he said he would email my son with another date. My son received an email saying they were not responsible for the repair as it was accidental damage and to contact his insurance, why should anyones home insurance cover Sofology’s mistakes!!. Anyway this happened in September and still no further forward with the situation. I contacted consumer rights and they’re helping with my case, I will take it to a small claims if I don’t get it resolved, money saving expert have great advice and if you haven’t already then look up the consumer rights act 2015.

If I’d read reviews I would definitely not even walked into the shop ! We sat in the shop in a very comfortable chair & ordered 2 of them . Were told they would come in 4-6 weeks but of course they didn’t ! After 6 months we were given a date but still no chairs . Then got another date & this is after 2 more trips to the shop because there is no point hanging on the phone which is impossible . We have them now but they are not as comfortable as the 1 in the shop . After yet another visit back to the shop they sent someone out from home serve . The chairs look fine but without going to shop you wouldn’t know the difference in comfort . The person who came was told he wasn’t allowed to go the shop - absolutely ridiculous . After a few emails back & forth & another trip to shop we were told they are dismissing our case .We wanted these chairs because they were so comfortable & good for us both having health issues , or so we thought !! We would have been better going to a charity shop but we thought as we are getting older we would buy new for a room we recently had decorated . Terrible company & service !

Modern day dick turpin the lot of them!!!!!!!! i feel really sorry for all the peaple writing reviews saying they have had a great experiance with these peaple,BUT 9 out of 10 have not recieved any goods yet and you can see that in the way the review has been written... so and so was great and really helpfull,what a great bunch of peaple they all say. well you wait till they get your money then it all begins... my wife and i are still waiting for a refund after they messed us about since sept 2021.... cust sevices are non existant,managers,oh you are having a laugh you cannot get one..... but i no they still have our money and they are earning intrest on it plus every other poor soul they have done this too.AVOID PEAPLE PLEASE AVOID........ THEY ARE MODERN DAY DICK TURPINS THE LOT OF THEM THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely terrible service spent 9k 6 months ago was told 3 months delivery time nothing 3 months time order delayed due to shipping was promised November delivery again nothing in November then in December get a call that 2 out of 3 had arrived and a foot stool hadn’t been sent so would now have to wait 6 months for that and January 15 for my corner suite. After several calls and complaints after January the 15th getting told that suite has arrived but has ended up at the wrong depot and would have to be moved before delivery can be arranged again it’s took them over 2 weeks to do this today feb 1st still we have no confirmation of delivery. Don’t expect the managers to respond to emails and the staff on the phone are useless not willing to help and tell you that they can’t do anything about it. Avoid this company spend your money elsewhere

DO NOT buy a sofa with sofology! If I could leave 0 stars I would have. Awful experience. We ordered a sofa with them, they arranged delivery date and they also arranged for Clearabee (miserable men that did this) to remove our old sofas the day before delivery of the new one. Old sofas taken away, next day of delivery no contact from sofology with a time slot. Get to lunchtime I contact them to be told that the new sofa is ‘ missing’!! How do you loose a corner sofa??! Have tried to complain but get nowhere. Got my deposit back as would never have re ordered the sofa with them and wait another 3 months for them to loose sofa again! So now we have no sofas at all thanks to sofologys lack of professionalism and communication! Absolutely the worst company ever and please listen to these bad reviews and give your money to a company that will not leave you with nothing to sit on. Terrible company that should be properly looked in to for what they do to all these customers. It’s unacceptable.

Ordered our sofa originally 8 months ago now, first delivery attempt was wrong! Our corner sofa had an arm in the middle of it 🤦🏻‍♀️ After so much to and fro, we finally got to a resolution after having to drag a good will gesture out of them like getting blood from a stone. Fast forward another 4 months and the sofa was delivered WRONG AGAIN!! We try to get to a solution but customer services act like you are inconveniencing their day having an issue with the fact your sofa is wrong and there’s no hierarchy of management to speak to. Even emailing area managers warrants no response!! They take your money and do not deliver on their end of the agreement and act as though they couldn’t care less, this would never be allowed in any other business and what an embarrassment to work for such a horrendous company. I hope and pray they go bust as we have never had such a bad experience with a company before and all the negative reviews come as no surprise. We would much rather spend our money at a trustworthy establishment!

Absolute POS product. "20 year guarantee" is misleading. That guarantee only covers the structure. Anyway I bought a £2000 sofa which is VERY expensive next to the competition, because I wanted a high-end product. Within the first year the electric recliner mechanism broke. Engineer who fitted the new one said 90% of his job is replacing those things. About one month after the 2 year warranty expired, the recliner on the other side broke. £143 to replace with a 12 - 14 week lead time. To order this you are expected to just bank transfer money to their be account. No acknowledgement, no order confirmation, you just have to wait 16 weeks and hope I guess? Anyway a couple weeks later the recliner on the other side, which was replaced

Bought Sofaglide to protect new flooring which had been laid. Ended up with 2 massive scratches in the floor. Turns out they had forgotten to send the sofaglide, and so reject all claims for damage to the floor and have 'kindly' reimbursed me the £30. Really helped ease the pain of my new £2k floor being ruined. Shocking customer service and would not recommend to anyone.
