“Takealot is the one of the best online shopping platforms I've experienced. Even if prices are slightly higher in some instances or if some items are not of good quality, people must realize that it is not the fault of takealot. I have also bought many times. I'm always notified of delays plus they always ask in advance if some will be available to pick up the order as well as change the delivery date to suit your schedule. We cannot base judgement on one particular incident but a wholistic picture. They do strive to improve their sourced items. Their services on marketing skills, delivery returns etc are excellent. Much appreciated. WELL DONE AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. KINDEST REGARDS Venish from Durban”

“Lewis from Takelot was awesome. I was not available for delivery. I requested for delivery on his off day and I didn't know. Lewis drove to my place delivered my items and ensured it doesn't get returned to head office. Such a kind person. May Lewis get recognized for his outstanding customer service which is lacking in SA currently.”

“It's clear that not everyone shares the same experience when it comes to online shopping however, my first and most certainly not the last order here at TAKEALOT's online shop has been one of pure bliss. Not only did parcel reach me in a swiftly i was updated every step of the way via SMS. No logging online in attempt to track the whereabouts of my order. In addition to that the comfort of paying on delivery is also a complimentary option. Generally i am wary of ordering online but knowing i have not paid in advance for something i did not recieve does give me peace of mind. I HUGE THANK YOU to the team involved for the OUTSTANDING service!!! I will highly recommend your business and logistic operations.”

“Really bad service we order a smart watch it was delivered excited to assembled the watch straps the straps was not working phoned and lodged a return up on checking my order status there was a pen with the watch ow ever there was no pen phoned and enquired they said that they emailed me the email does not provided a option to give a response i was told item declined due to missing parts ask them just to return the watch now i get it back with no charger so process begin again will never buy from them again it seems someone is tampering with the packages before it gets delivered”

“I ordered the Elephant Pillow from takealot. I received the dirty,damaged smelling pillow with a mouse droppings in the package. Looks like their storage had mouse and they don't double check the products before the give to customers. When I logged the complaint after 2days received the Elephant I waited for them to respond on what next can I do. I then decided to drop the Elephant in few hours I received the email saying they declined the complaint with a photo of what I complained for. They seemed to say I am the one who damaged the product pretending as they did not read my points on my complaint. I am soo disappointed in takealot service. They seemed to be fake and not organized I don't recommend anyone to buy from them. 😔😔😔😔😔”

“Wow. So so impressed. Due to the unrest I wasn't expecting my parcel until 22 July 2021. Not only did it arrive today Sunday 18 July but the delivery guy, Leonard Van Rooyen found my place very easily. Super efficient. Well done guys”

“I reside in Hartenbos and recently ordered goods that did not suit my needs. Contacted Takealot and was told to utilise their online return system, which was easy enough to follow. Goods were returns and I received my full refund within a few days. What a service…..top marks to TAKEALOT.”

“brilliant service!! i needed my delivery earlier and the gentlemen arranged it for me, I've also sent a-product back that i wasn't happy with and no probelms at all. Service and delivery has been amazing every-time. So many pp only go on to complain and cant say anything when a provider is doing a great job. Well done Takealot!! I love using you guys!”

“very very bad service . I bought a mobile for my son in December 2019 and in July 2020 returned to takealot due to charger point not working . It was repaired and retuned to me on 15 August 2020. My son used the phone for a few weeks and the same fault happened, returned the item to takealot again on the 5 September. Was then advised by takealot that the supplier refuse to repair as it was damaged by client. Back and forth with them i finally said OK please return the phone. Until today no phone has been returned and no feedback. Been costing me however money on airtime to call and data to send emails still waiting ...........”

“Every item inhave bought has been of good quality. Notification of delivery date is always received. Good communications Delivery always on time or even earlier! The person who delivers is always polite and professional. If item needs to be returned, it is collected and credited with no issues. Takealot's service is outstanding.”
