Dire. Bought a multi-tool. it gave up before the day was out. I got a replacement. It gave up after 4 hrs use. Asked for a refund. No, because it had been used. It wasn't even a week old...

Bought petrol chainsaw from Kinning Park branch. Did not work returned to Toolstation and after inspection refused to accept as there was smell of petrol. The tank had been emptied but when opening fuel cap there was a smell of petrol.Unsure how you can operate petrol chainsaw without petrol They asked me to take the product away without any focus on replacement/refund. I told them to keep it on Toolstation premises. Kinning Park now saying they did not receive returned product.

Very poor service , they are quick enough to take your money and then it takes a week to get your money back, ordered in good faith for a Saturday delivery and they then tried to deliver the wrong items , spoke to them and was told I’d get the correct items by Tuesday lunch! Did not happen. I rang them and was told they did not know what had happened, asked to speak to a manager who rang me back in the afternoon. Her name was Megan not the one on maternity leave.! She promised me she would ring me back at 9 am the following day, guess what she didn’t and when I rang at 9.30 she was apparently on another call and I was told that I would not get my items, so offered a refund, what a poor service and very disappointed in the unprofessional Manger of working for toolstation for 20 years.

Went into Stevenage store where as a company we have a big spend ordered a set of dewalt flat bits which were advertised at 19.99 great price went to pay and seen it was 29.99 told the cashier the display behind him was clear they were on offer he got his supervisor who said that starts Monday I argued as it was advertised at that price I should be charged that or take the signs down with false advertising he refused I phoned customer service who were not interested and said they can put signs up and sell at what they want I think there wrong and will be going trading standards with my complaint if this is how they treat a big spender how would a little spender be treated ? Bought my product from screwfix who were shocked at what I told them

Bought 66 Luceco downlights from toolstation and had them fitted earlier this year. After a while the glass lenses started to fall out. Now over 30% have fallen out. I called customer service and they will not pay to replace them even though they are no longer IP65 rated and causing a danger in my house. Shocking customer service.

Got an email from them following an online purchase. Actually gave them a 5 star review with a comment "Quality product. Great delivery". They actually had the cheek to reject my 5 star review on the grounds that it was "Too vague". Really? Way to tick off a customer guys!!! Obviously, that's not a response that came from a machine. It takes a human moderator to be that dumb. So I resubmitted a much more detailed 1 star review making it crystal clear what I thought of their bs. They didn't like that one either in spite of its enhanced clarity. Have you ever heard anything like it? So what do we conclude from this? Well, as far as Toolstation management are concerned its APPROVED ONLY reviews that are allowed on their website.

Nothing against Tool Station and the products.. happy with the service of some employees and goods.. Except for one employee who works at our local branch in Weybridge. Unfortunately this is not the first time that the manager, Mo, has been rude to us. Previously when we had asked to see products before purchasing he would be reluctant and you would feel that you are inconveniencing him and that it is a big issue for him to show you the goods. You just feel he is not happy about serving customers and there is the question of why work in retail then? However, in the past we have ignored his rudeness with a smile. But on this occasion he had more attitude than normal and was extremely rude. When we mentioned to him that this is not the way to speak to customers and that he was rude he started recording us... Never again will I go to this shop.. no thank you ... I will take my business to another branch or shop online... or go else where.. Screw fix is just across the road :-)
