“On Friday 13th having drive. From Shepton mallet depot who were helpful but didn’t have the item in stock. I got to Bridgewater depot at 1715 to find the store closed. I went to the car park where there was two members of staff. I asked why the store was shut when it said 1900 and I had had order confirmation. It was explained to me that they weee very short staffed and for reasons to do with that they had shut early. I needed the item as I was leaving early in the morning for a caravan holiday. I asked if the manager was still around to which the man said he was the manager. He then kindly went in and got my electric hook up. So thank you PAUL, for your customer care even after a long day which obviously had been syressful and also thank you to the other lovely member of staff who’s name I didn’t get. “Went to the local Toolstation inside the local Wickes store.
I was looking for a pressure sprayer part but, did not know where to begin,
I saw the Toolstation manageress Kim who has helped me before. She was on her way for a break but, stopped to help me locate the part I needed.
It was not in store AND would you believe, she phoned around and reserved it for me at a nearby branch.
Kim is always cheerful and very helpful but, this was customer service on STEROIDS!
Remember, she was on her way out for her break and still did all the above to help me.

“Having been a regular trade customer of Toolstation for many years I find it difficult to believe the majority of the recent reviews on here. Always found all the staff to be helpful and very knowledgeable regarding the products they sell.
It is annoying for trade customers to be queuing behind diy customers who have not taken the time to look in the catalogue but would rather walk to the counter and expect the staff to tell them what they want. This takes so much time and causes frustration among staff and customers alike.
With reference to some of the reviews that have been posted on here, it would be advisable for anyone entering any store without a face mask to carry the certificate to prove you are medically exempt and wear the badge.”
