“Excellent product and service, but not a very good sales process. I was extremely miffed when ordering your product. I quoted a discount code obtained from the Telegraph for a 30% discount. During the ordering process no discount was offered. I checked myself to find the offer expired a day earlier. My irritation was compounded by seeing another offer in the Telegraph 2 weeks later again for 30% discount after I had told you that was paper I saw the offer in.”

“However, it would have been helpful if the delivery company had hung around to show me how to open out and close the sofa bed . It would also have been helpful if you had made it known that the sofa bed, when opened out, did not lie flat. I thought it was faulty until I was informed that this is normal.”

“Company were very good, but felt they were let down by their new delivery company who did not know they were collecting our old furniture. They did collect it, but their instructions were obviously not clear.”

“Ordering the sofa bed was easy and straightforward. I found the website easy to follow. Sample fabric delivered quickly. Delivery was efficient and sofa bed was put together by delivery men with no problem. I love the colour, Matt velvet truffle. My sofa bed is in my spare room which I also use as a snug to watch television in the evenings. So the sofa bed is used both as a bed occasionally and a sofa almost daily. Initially I thought I had made a mistake in ordering the cushions, they felt hard to sit on with no give whatsoever. There were two softer options, but I did not want to be constantly plumping up cushions. The cushions I bought were supposed to soften up after some use. I am hoping they do. I bought the medium sofa bed and at 5'5" I can just lie out comfortably when watching tv. It seems to me that as a bed it would be perhaps a little small for two adults, but I usually have only one visitor at a time. The bed mechanism is great. Very easy to pull out to use as a bed. I bought a memory foam mattress, but haven't tested it yet ...... The concept of having a sofa bed in the spare room so it can be used as an extra sitting room is wonderful. This sofa bed looks attractive ...... I am thinking of pairing it with a footstool in matching fabric .. Perhaps with storage so I can keep the duvet in it for the sofa bed.”

“The customer service was good. The delivery was as expected and on time. The reason I'm giving this section a good instead of excellent is that I was a little disappointed to see that the sale item was £75 cheaper once I'd had the sofa delivered. When is a sale not a sale? I would recommend Willow and Hall to others but with the proviso they keep an eye on sale prices to glean what is a sale price and what isn't.”

“Lovely sofas - excellent quality and comfortable. My only complaint was that it took 6 weeks and not the 4 - 5 weeks advertised on the website which was a pain. I timed my order in accordance with the 4 - 5 week delivery expectation and then ended up with no sofas for a week longer than anticipated.”

“We visited the showroom in Chiswick, but all members of staff (2 on a Saturday) were serving other people, so had to wait quite a while, with 2 small kids this wasn't easy. Information wasn't really flowing we had to ask. We ordered online, and my payment was taken the following day. However it wasn't until I emailed them saying that I hadn't received anything acknowledgement from them since placing my order that someone contacted me. She explained that someone should have called me to go through my order, I confirmed this hadn't happened. I was also informed that I would receive a call from the delivery team a week before the delivery date. During this conversation I did request a Saturday delivery if possible. I received a call from the delivery team on a Thursday confirming my sofa bed was ready and they could deliver on Saturday. We arrange fro that and the drivers arrived within the time slot they had confirmed. Delivery & assembly was very good and efficient, they also removed my old sofa. Torn between giving a POOR score due to lack of customer service, very disappointing, but the delivery team were very efficient and courteous so they deserve a GOOD.”

“I would recommend them and buy from them again, but would have a few reservations. I had to pay an extra cost as was told that the arms of the bed settee had to be removable to get through the doorway. I did measure my door opening when ordering. Needless to say the sofa went though without removal of arms, Phoned the company who didn't really want to know. The material chosen is a light grey and the zips in the cushions are black, unsightly. Once again they were not interested”

“Quick responding to my order, from placing my order to receiving the sofa and two armchair was about 4 weeks. Likewise when i have problem with the arm caps on one of the armchairs they quickly sorted it out. Good Company.”
