“I canceled my account a year ago, a year later they are charging me a fine of £66.71 . I sent it a year later because you didn't send the materials, but even if I didn't send it, how can you impose a fine after a year? It's a terrible campaign, it's an incredible company, it's disgusting, I recommend it to anyone.”
“If there any zero star i could given, there is my option for this scamming company, they just tried to get rip off every single penny from you. How is that possible for customer to pay near £600 for the early termination fee, which is absolutely ridiculous.
Please just avoid this rubbish, keep it away from you.”
“They are the original looter’s, it’s been more than a month they installed the router, losing business because they are not transferring the line. Send me the card machine that is ages old.
Never recommend them”
“If you thought SKY or BT were bad, these guys take bad service to a whole new level!
After not being happy paying nearly £100 a month for Broadband, I rank and asked to leave they talked me into a new contract at £39.95 a month, the following 2 months they take nearly £400 out of my account, see attached screenshot of my account payments. 3 months later I have no phone line haven't for 2 months, meant to be moved to VOIP but I can't get any help setting this up, I waited for 1 hour on hold and refused to wait any longer.
No I am having to get our legal team involved as they are refusing to issue a refund. The escalation team is far from useless, Clayton sounds like a robot that reads from a screen, honestly, go to talk talk or someone else cheap as these are far from cheap and the customer service is appalling! By far the worst Ive come across of over 15 years in business!”
“Worst company ever. Don't trust them and never sign any agreement. Under agreement they can change the charges as they want. Then by some magic your bill is double just after few months of contract.”
“I received an unsolicited call from XLN, who I believe to have an overly active sales department that has pestered me to engage with them, despite me clearly telling them I am not a business, and this has taken place over about two years. They have sent me so many routers I have lost track, every time they make an approach claiming they will be able to get me out of my present contract it triggers delivery of yet another router. I have been quite clear that I will not set up a contract with them until I am able to get released, which has to run until March/April 2025. This week I have had to cancel yet another unsuccessful attempt as my current provider still wants in excess of £700 plus VAT. XLN's right hand doesn't seem to know what their left hand is doing(with no apparent intervening brain). This morning as I passed two routers awaiting return envelopes in my hallway, answering the door to the postwoman I received, not the requested envelopes, but you guessed it, ANOTHER ROUTER!
The only way I can think of preventing their future actions is to ask for the recordings under the DATA PROTECTION legislature and sending them to OFCOM. All this to try to escape the clutches of my present provider, who I won't name yet, but has cut off the internet via my mobile, thus blocking access to banking apps, in retaliation to all this commotion
and my raising concerns about their accounting skills, charging for spurious services. Although I consider XLN to be shown incompetent, they are still likely to be able to provide a better service than my current provider, and that's saying something! Computers can say YES at the same time as saying NO whilst disagreeing with AI and it's ALGORITHMS simultaneously, it's digital duplicity! And it's not the way a”
“I had Cloud Voice enabled since the beginning of May 2024 and it is majorly disrupting my business!
The line porting was done incorrectly so now I receive 10% of calls to an old divert number.
I've been chasing the XLN faults line for 2 weeks and each time I am told someone will call me with an update, which they never do. I have to call everyday, multiples times for an update.
This morning they said they need to cease my lines and reactivate the phone lines which means no service for 6-10 days! There is no sense of urgency and they don't seem to care that I am operating a business.
I have to liaise between the faults team, provisioning team and cloud voice team separately as each department and person seems to give me slightly different/contradicting information.”
“john yesudas, is a total scambag of a sale rep that lies to and leave you without any way for customers to get hold of you. its been a couple month and we are left without a phone for customers to call us. people had to come into our shop because they thought we was closed.”
“Your company is a complete scam and a joke and someone needs to look into that company!! You’ve given my mother nothing but aggravation since cancelling her business contract when she gave up her business! They still keep adding bills!! Stay clear of this scamming company at all costs. Nothing but grief”
“They will take your money, therefore avoid them because of their poor service.
These companies have no right to be in business. Fortunately, I was able to recover my stolen funds thanks to S I M O N C H. C O M assistance.”
“I was cold called and like an idiot I listened to their spiel. The penny only dropped when they asked for my bank details. I hung and they immediately began calling me on my landline and mobile. They are high pressure scammers. Stay clear”
“I almost lost my life while trading with this people, I thought I could quickly use the money meant for my heart surgery to make more money but unfortunately, I was prevented from getting my money back and my surgery day was getting closer. I was then advised to write M A D A C O V I.X Y Z. Thankfully, they came to my rescue and I got back my money back then I paid for my surgery.”
“I received the contract by e-mail and it contains different data and fees (internet speed, installation fee) than the agent offered me over the phone. The same day I called to say I was cancelling the contract, I was told I would receive an email confirming the cancellation of the contract. After a few days, I received a text message that I had an appointment with an engineer who would install the Internet, which I could not cancel. THEY ARE NOT HONEST, AVOID”
“I had xln small business broadband for several years with a very bad reception.
After many years of complaints I was finally advised to change it for fiberobtics for better reception.
They made three appointments to fix the line which non of them was honored.
Finally I decided to terminate my services so I could move on to another service provider.
It was all agreed and the case was closed, also I was expecting refund for 4 months of being charged without having the services which I did not get a penny,
Today I had email and text saying your broadband going live soon.
I never asked them to give me another service. I had to call the customer service and they had no clue what’s happening.
I had the mist stressful experience since January 2024 and I have a feeling it’s still going to haunt me.
You need to be ashamed of yourself to provide such a poor service to a business who is relying to internet for survival.
Shame on you all.”
“Xln is absolutely the worst company I've dealt with in 25yrs of business.
No communication other than sales calls about other products we have said we don't want over and over again.
We have been trying to cancel for 3 months and no one responds or acknowledges my cancellation.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, EVER!!!”
“I would give a minus five worst company I've ever dealt with been with them for years I have separate nothing but grief and problems you can't get hold of them they are a total waste of time”
“Total nightmare from start to finish. Lies when selling. Constant promises, nothing gets sorted. Keep well away. Can't wait for my contract to finish.”
