The amount of flowers provided for paying £50 is very poor. The service was timely and accurate but you I will not be able to recommend based on value for money

I ordered a large bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne for someone's birthday to be delivered on the morning of her birthday. In the morning I was unable to see my emails but by the afternoon had made contact with the recipient of the gifts. They had not arrived. I looked at my emails and there were two several hours apart telling me they didn't have the champagne and did I want to proceed. I rang and emailed, "please tell me you delivered the flowers at least!", I said. The flowers are the main gesture and the champagne is a bonus, the flowers are important, after all, the company name is BLOOMLOCAL!!! Not CHAMPAGNELOCAL. I pleaded for the flowers to be delivered as soon as possible as it was now late afternoon and the day had nearly gone. Later I got a call from a girl telling me the flowers were about to arrive and they had got champagne. What was the point of the emails if this was indeed possible? If the subcontracting company delivering the flowers had run out of their stock champagne but under instruction from the parent company, were told, 'go out and buy a bottle', why was that not done at the outset so the delivery could have been made first thing in the morning? The only positive was that the delivery was made at the end of the day but that is the only positive.

I have to say i was extremely disappointed with the quality of the flowers within the bunch /bouquet ordered. Within three days several of them were beginning to die with leaves/petals discolouring. The delivery service was good if not a tad on the expensive side. Overall i wouldn’t say they were good value for the amount paid and would probably go to a local florist direct next time…

We pride ourselves on quality service and products although it would seem we haven't maintained our standards this time, and for this, we intend to rectify the situation. Accept there might be substitutions of flowers, but the amount of flowers my daughter received was pathetic compared to the picture on web site. I paid £57, it was not worth it. Won’t use again.

Violet vibes included pink flowers and very little white as illustrated. Delivered late in day due to a vehicle breakdown. Not value for money!

Hard work speaking to your telephonist; took several times to explain what i wanted (not all my fault); felt I wasn't listened to carefully; she had a routine to go through and didn't allow for me to get across what reallywas needed; by the time she fully understood it seemed it was too late -she had already transmitted/committed what she thought she had heard.; didn't refer to cost until i asked , which was too late if I had wanted to change my mind. Even at the end I wasn't sure the flowers would reach the intended destination. Most unsatisfactory. I feel aggrieved, because it was for a very worthy couple having a rough time. If this is ever read, I'd like to hear your response.

Flowers were left on recipients doorstep, which isn’t ideal due to the heat. The email notification said they were “delivered” and I didn’t request for them to be left on the doorstep . The arrangement wasn’t as per the photo, as each type of flower was bunched together and not nicely arranged and spread around the bouquet. It was meant to be pastel but looked liked and over load of lilac flowers . I wasn’t happy with the end product.

Lack of communication around expected delivery time and flowers weren't delivered until 7:30pm. I appreciate that same day delivery is a challenge and don't mind them being delivered late but would have liked notice of that.

I live in an area in the Highlands not covered by Bloomlocal. I've used them elsewhere with no problems. We do have a florist or two locally so I hoped that one of them would be utilised. The website took my money but then Bloomlocal got in touch a day later to say that they couldn't deliver to the area. Please block off postcodes that you don't deliver to so that people know to search for a different method, rather than wasting a day or two

I got an email explaining the bouquet couldn’t be exact to the one I chose - which is fine. However when I saw a picture of the bunch that arrived there were no where near the same amount of flowers as the original picture. I thought the flowers were a lot of money for what was delivered.

The flower looked nothing like the picture, it was a lot smaller and they were not close to fresh or healthy. Very dissapointed.

I think the advertising is very misleading. Hand delivered by local florist…. Yodel?? I thought I was choosing something from a florist local to my mother in law. Won’t be using again.

We do work closely with a network of local florists and small independent businesses. Most of our partners hand-deliver the flowers themselves, although a few florists (depending on the volume of orders they have to handle) use a courier service to ensure that orders are delivered in a timely manner. While delivery was quick, the flowers were not in the best condition from what I’ve been shown by the recipient. I’m disappointed with this.
