“Really no stars but your program needs a response. The heater barely throws out any heat. Cannot even warm your hands directly on the output vent.
Wasting my electric.”
“So far not impressed. My heater arrived and died within the first two weeks. I contacted support and they agreed to swap out the heater. A week went by and didn't hear back, so I called, apparently they will not send out the new heater till the old broken is returned. So while we wait for the exchange of their broken heater, my daughter's room is freezing. They should always send out a new unit as soon as a claim is placed on a unit that is broken. Or at least based on the tracking number verifying the shipment.”
“We now have 3 of these and love every one of them. The fact that we can setup different schedules for each unit and control them all from a single app is a game changer. Installation and setup in the app was a breeze. The only minor negative I have is sometimes a unit will lose connection to our WiFi. It still operates and runs fine (and maintains the schedule) but you can't control it from the app when this happens. I've had to power it off, unplug the unit for 10 seconds then plug it back in and then it reconnects automatically. A minor annoyance. We have these in 3 bedrooms that are each about 130-150sq ft and these work very well. We sometimes have to turn them down because they heat so well!”
“I have five of your wall-mounted heaters. They work well.
One request. Although I know the cardboard insert can be used as a template for the wall mounts, I would love to have a paper template I could use and tape to the wall.”
“So far so good. We installed a smart unit 110 v in our cold master closet. There is no heat in there and it had been very cold. 3 days in and the heater is really doing a terrific job. Here a tip-I initially installed it on a wall in our garage to let it off gas for 2 days to get rid of any start up smell. Very glad we did! No smell at all once installed in the house. Its nice to have the WiFi connection to the heater to set up a schedule and keep track of things-”
“Excellent installation directions, heats very well, had an issue with one of the hooks, and was very quickly taken care of. I do recommend them and will purchase again.”
“Overal It is a great heater. It is quiet and efficient. It takes a while for the heater to heat the room, but once heated, it keeps it nice and warm. I also like how thin it is. It really fits my bathroom well and looks great. The APP is OK, but I continue to have problems getting notifications. I have contacted eheat, Inc a number of times but they have not been able to resolve the problem with the notifications.”
“This is our third, one in each room. Were received it a fast timely matter, and no problems installing the heater. Or operating it. It's a good heater for the appropriate job.”
“I bought this item based on what I had heard on a radio home improvement host recommendation and I'm not disappointed at all. Heats up a colder room nicely. Can't vouch on the economy part of the usage yet but I'm sure that the economy part of it is true. I'm going to purchase a couple more of these units before the winter season is over. They work as advertised!”
“I am very pleased with my EnviMAX 220v Hardwired Electric Panel Wall Heater - 1000 Watts (EM1022D). The template/hardware allowed for quick, easy, and accurate mounting. The unit is quiet, attractive, and most importantly, provides all the heat I need for my 12'x11' basement bedroom. I called customer service one time and was able to talk to a real person on the first try. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my heater and have since ordered another for my basement office.
I would inform customers who order the hard-wire units that placement of the in-wall outlet box is critical. Since the unit pigtail must run up the back of the unit, its origin must be very close to the outlet box; otherwise you cannot mount the unit flush to the wall. Wiring the pigtail and hiding it in the outlet box and the heater cavity was a little difficult. I scratched the wall trying several times to get the unit mounted. It was not really an issue since they were behind the unit.
Maybe an additional outline on the template for an in-wall outlet for hard-wired units could help.
