“This is my fourth or fifth unit I have purchased and I love them. I have an old house that is poorly insulated, so we have one in an upstairs bathroom, hallway, and large closet to provide extra heat during our cold winters. Easy to install and totally energy efficient. Love these heaters!”
“I stumbled across the heat on a semi desperate search to find a back up heat source for a basement bedroom in an Airbnb we just bought. The previous owners told us that the bedroom downstairs heated up just fine, that might be the case if you don’t care about your guests, but we don’t want people freezing to death here in the southeast. I digress, the big thing I was looking for was something that I could adjust remotely. Left to their own. I’m sure guests would turn it up to 80°, which is fine while they’re staying here, but might forget to turn it back down when they leave it seems like the heater is efficient, but I would still rather not pay for that. The upside is it gives my basement a back up heat source to keep the utility room above freezing. We in North Carolina so it doesn’t get that cold, but I’d still rather not deal with damaged pipes.
The icing on the cake is that it’s US made. Politically I’m left of center however I still believe in the quality of American manufacturers for now. It’s my preference when I’m buying something once and buying it right.”
“Setup wasn't horribly hard, although it took me a while to get it installed. The room I have it in has absolutely no heat in it, in subfreezing weather it's having a hard time getting up to temperature, but it's chugging right along. I'm making additional changes to the room to warm it up and I'm certain once those are complete it'll be nice and cozy.
The unit is very quiet and since that room is my office, that's great because I have online meetings all the time.”
“I contacted customer service with questions about the wall heater. I received a reply and the requested info within an hour, and subsequently purchased the plug in unit.”
“I bought the new 1,000 Watt EnviMax (SM1012P) because it claimed it could heat a room up to 350 sq. ft. The rec room in my basement is 258 sq. ft. The walls and ceiling are insulated, but the EnviMax does not fully heat the room. I set the thermostat to 70 degrees and leave the heater on 24 hours per day. After four days, the temperature has not risen about 66 degrees. I need another heater for this room.”
“The envi heaters are amazing, it is made in America and you can definitely see and feel the quality. I own 5 and have purchased a few for family member who all love them. I will be purchasing more for my summer house. Keep up the great quality work!!!!”
“So I have been pleased with the performance of both the 1000 watt heaters I purchased. It was pretty strightfoward installing them, except for the locking screw. I found that trying to align the tool provided within the top of the screw was hit or miss since you can't see it in it's location on the bottom of the unit. I think this took the most time in the installation process. I think it would be better if it could be accessed from the side. But, other than that I have been happy with how there is no noise and the app that can be downloaded works great. Right now in Virgina it is ten degrees and both heaters are keeping our basement apartment nice and warm.”
“Machine arrived later than expected. FAQs said 3-5 days before it gets shipped. Arrived 15 days after placing order. An email stating that "due to an overwhelming number of orders, or shipping delays" your order is delayed would have been nice, but no communication was received from eheat.
I sent an email asking when my order would be shipped and it shipped later that day, so this was a positive.”
“Pleased with ease of purchase. Do not care for Route to track. Took some time to arrive without confirmation it was coming. I had to email after about three weeks.”
“The short time we have used it the system is working well and has warmed the area that did not have proper flow from the vents. It is currently below zero outside and the room is warmer than it has been in the winter.”
