“I ordered the Shire 13 x 7 pressure treated shed with Skyguard roofing material. Delivery of the shed was fine but the Skyguard was delayed by about a week, no problem as it took me that long to erect the shed on my own. Communication with Elbec was overall very good, they called me finally to check the Skyguard had been received. Overall this is a lot of shed for he price and I was expecting to make some modifications. Some timber had warp issues, one panel was slightly larger than the others which meant I had to modify the assembly slightly. The instructions from the manufacturer Shire are generally good but could be improved in places. Using quick release clamps makes assembly much easier, especially if you are doing this on your own. The pre-assembly of the roof panels needs to be clearer. Aligning the battens exactly on the roofing panel edges does not allow any room for slight variations in the frame ( inevitable on a structure of this nature). I also added extra screws in various places or replaced nails with screws. The end gables in my opinion need 34 x 34mm battens and I added this at each end - with an overlap at both ends, not just the front - the timber end panels screw into this through the roof covering more securely. Also at the door end I suggest adding 34 x 34mm timber under the floorboard ends to prevent damage to the edges ( this edge will get the most wear). However overall very pleased with the product for the price paid and the extra cost for my modifications were only about £20.”
“I’ve purchased garden products from Elbec many times and keep coming back as their products and delivery have always been first class. My last purchase was for a shed and gate which had to be delivered separately as the shed was delivered by the manufacturer. This seemed to cause a bit of confusion at their end and I had to chase the gate delivery. All was well in the end and I’m very happy with the items. Although there was a slight problem this time, Elbec have always resolved any issues and I have confidence in ordering from them as prices are competitive and delivery has always been good. I would have ranked 5 stars if not for the communication issues this time round.”

“The fence panels I wanted were out of stock (there was an estimated date of when they would be available again) and I clicked the link to be emailed when they were due to come back into stock. On the estimated availability date I received an email to advise me that they were back in stock. Online I ordered 4x 3ft High (915mm) Mercia Waney Edge (Lap) Pressure Treated Fence Panels. Website was easy to use, and I received an email acknowledging my order. 30 mins later I received an email from Mercia GP containing a link to book my delivery date. I selected the first available date available on their system that met my own availability (10 days/8 working days from booking date). The afternoon before my expected delivery date I received an email confirming delivery ("has now been picked and is ready for delivery"). At 06:47 on the delivery day I received an email advising estimated time slot between 05:35 - 07:35. Driver arrived at 08:15 and was very friendly and unloaded the fence panels to our driveway. The four 3ft High (915mm) Mercia Waney Edge (Lap) Fence Pressure Treated Panels were quickly slotted into the existing concrete posts two days later. Would highly recommend.”
“8x6 pressure treated shed for £295 delivered. Not too bad for the money however i did feel really sorry for the delivery bloke. My wife rang me at work to come home and help him unload as I work fairly close to home. He was expected to unload it all into my front garden on his own which is up a few steps from the road. When I inspected the parts after he had left I saw that one of the base pieces had been crunched on one of the corners but it didn't make much difference to the structure, Also both roof panels had furry mold on them. not pleasant and I hope it doesn't come back now its all assembled. The instructions are fairly basic and took some head scratching to understand but 3 hours and 2 of us got it built. Now to dispose of the old one :(”
“Really easy to follow delivery time allocation, delivery man went above and beyond to help us as it was bad snow in January and he still delivered on time and even carried some of it into the garden as the back alley was full of snow! The quality of the shed is good however I would say that until you have put the roof on it can feel a bit flimsy. No big knots in any of the wood, roofing felt did feel cheap and we will probably replace this or double up in the future. The instructions were easy to understand and between 2 of us it took about 6 hours of casual work. Probably could have done in it 4 without the breaks.”

“The shed was delivered on time, but due to various unfortunate circumstances and inclement weather it has not yet been possible to complete the installation, so the completed base and the remainder of the structure are still sheeted down awaiting a suitable time to complete. Otherwise, it looks as if it will be a very useful item in the future”
“Good study house easy to it together yourself delivery was quick but they were lazy left all of the house in the front wouldnt take it in the back garden for my wife”
