Absolutely disgusting service, scheduling team don't actually schedule you in properly (wrong size tankers, ignore vulnerabilities) and customer service are not allowed to talk to schedulers. What sort of company fails to care about households with vulnerable people in the property despite them having a flag on the account to tell them all? Do not switch to this company, nobody is worse than this! My recent experience is receiving a text message confirming delivery when the offices are closed so you can't reschedule it if you are out at work so, take a last minute day at home and wait all day to receive a text message to say, call us as we have had to reschedule you - TWICE!!!!! Don't both, avoid at all costs, very poor customer service where one staff member actually told me they are leaving because of the poor levels of customer service and processes!!!!!!!!!!!

Bulk gas delivery ordered two weeks ago and promised by 15/3/24. Nothing. Again. Phoned twice on the day because they fail every single time. Was told it was out for delivery. They lied. Again. No delivery again. Tank empty. Again. Phoned emergency number who stated it wasn't out for delivery and I'd have to speak to customer 'services'. Again. Criminally negligent and incompetent. My 78 year old mother is again having to drag out the electric heaters just to keep warm. Again. Shameful.

FloGas Ordered gas when tank was 20%… FloGas ordered gas when tank was 20% through the app-told delivery would be within two weeks ordered on the 16th Feb 2024-Told them through app down to 10% two days ago-i then phoned yesterday to check on delivery as down to 5% told they would escalate to logistics-just taken a phone call to say delivery will be on Friday the 1st where we will be out of gas. They installed a replacement tank earlier in the year with a gadget that tell them how low the Gas is-however they tell me it has not been activated as we are on a refill when we phone in-Then they had the audacity to say i only let then now at 5% full which i sent in on the app yesterday. We pay crazy prices for lpg which is a by product a waste product and the person was trying to say there is a shortage of LPG. I say more likely a lack of drivers and vehicles available. Shocking service by the biggest LPG supplier in the country. update still no show-had to turn all heating off -hopefully to keep hot water-apparantly people on here saying they never even turned up on the day they said they are out of gas completely. This company needs reporting for a shocking service Date of experience: 28 February 2024

Dreadful Company. It takes forever for them to answer the phone if you have a problem. I gave Flogas a final reading and paid the bill 4 days later. They had previously been advised that I was moving out. Shortly afterwards. When I was no longer living at the property they sent me the new owners gas bill. No apology from Flogas whatsoever. I certainly would not recommend them. They are the worst utility company I have ever used.

Bulk tank replaced as per their statutory obligations. Old tank taken away with 20% gas - refurbished tank put in place with 5%. This represented 4/5 days usage. Delivery notified for 13 days later ! Genius. Half hour waits whenever you phone them, no decision made for delivery. Nobody phones back. My mother's tank now shows empty - she's 77. Avoid these cowboys like the plague. They haven't a clue what they're doing.

Thanks Flogas for not fixing our monitoring system and leaving us without gas for 3 days. Apparently our delivery is listed as “priority” as we have a newborn baby in the house. Waiting 3 days for gas is NOT priority. Disgusting service! Can’t imagine delivery times if your not a “priority”. Safe to say our contract won’t be renewed!

I am a LPG customer within an umbrella agreement. I have taken over the property they deliver gas to in June 2019 trying to get an account set up with them right into 2020 without success. As they ignored in 2020 any further emails by me and my readings supplied I naturally stopped any further effort leaving it up to them to act as they have been informed by the former owner and myself. All over sudden end of January 2023 I received an invitiation to start an account with them and a fantasy invoice covering the time from August 2022. As I acted instantly to correct this invoice and consequently paid the correct amount BACK BILLING from 2019 started based on Flogas estimated readings which completely ignored my readings supplied before. Now, I had to learn that LPG is not regulated means back billing of more than 12 months is possible and no ombudsman is in charge to deal with my complaint. There was no 'good will' agreement possible, so I had to pay in arrears -albeit corrected to the real meter readings I still had on my files- for roughly 4 years without Flogas taking responsibility for their failure at all, only a weak apology for the adviser in charge having left the company beginning of 2020. Professional action is nothing to expect of Flogas nor any responsibilty for their failure. They are only to blame the customer being always on the right side of things!

So bad, they increased their price in a 12 month period from 49p per litre to 77p per litre. Customer service is horrendous. Hours waiting to get through on the lines. Rude and condescending staff on the phone. I’m on 18% but had an outstanding balance on the account - so I Offered to pay them by direct debit to shift the balance but they ‘refused’ to accept that. Which means they are now in serious breach of the contract because my method of payment on my contract is direct debit. I also have multiple sclerosis and a child in the house. Luckily they’re not really my problem anymore as I’m leaving the property anyway, but they won’t get a penny out of me now after the way they have treated me. They have directly affected my health and I will be seeking compensation for damages in court. The customer services woman who rang didn’t even apologise for the hell they have put me through. She just demanded payment. Tough luck. You should’ve accepted my offer to pay by direct debit but you tried to punish me instead for telling you off for treating me so badly.

Just had a failed gas delivery on the 25.1.23 they used their standard excuse tanker broken down!! Our tank is now low on 15% supposed to be automatic top up at 40%as per contract. After spending an hour on the phone I have been told the earliest delivery date is 14 February. We had awful delivery problems with this company last year 5 failed deliveries due to their incompetence while exchanging our gas tank at their request. We are on the vulnerable list and need to use our heating constantly. This is not acceptable we need an urgent delivery. I asked to speak to a manager but one was not available. Apparently you can’t speak to the planners either. This company does not care about the stress which they cause. Do not use this company they have no customer care and do not comply with their contract. We will be using a better and more reputable company as soon as we are able to. I certainly wouldn’t give them 1star it would be negative if I could

Absolutely shocking. We are a pub and restaurant and Christmas is vital to us staying open. Flogas have taken our money and not delivered our gas and we now need to close our business this Christmas and upset thousands of families. Flogas grow up and treat your customers properly.

Sure as hell wished i had never opted for this gas bottle supplier, they have all the adverts going for them but when it boils down to the truth no one stocks or wants to stock thier bottles. in short i do not want to travel 30 miles to get a refill or pay your over the top delivery rates! and remember they dont refund your original bottle deposit,, i am going to turn mine into a mini wood burner as i have paid good money for it...

Flogas We took out a new contract with Flogas for the supply of LPG in December 2020. We had agreed a fixed price for LPG for the first 12 months and a maximum price for the year after. A standing charge was also agreed at 22.18p per day. That standing charge was increased to 27.65p per day last September. We have just received a letter advising us that as of October 19th the standing charge will be increased to 41.47p per day, an increase of 50%. When I phoned to ask why, I was told that all costs had gone up including deliveries and tank maintenance. I pointed out that we had not had a delivery this year and that we had not had any maintenance or inspection of the tank, therefore there was no justification in increasing the standing charge. They disagreed. I decided to call them pretending to be a new customer and was quoted 56p per litre and a standing charge of 21.9p per day, 19.5pence less that they want to charge me now! My LPG is on a fixed price of 42p per litre until the end of December and there is nothing Flogas can do about that as it is contractual. However they can increase the standing charge but not by more that 50% per annum. It would seem to me that as they can not increase the gas price, they have increased the standing charge by the maximum possible to compensate for the fixed LPG price. I do not believe that the costs have gone up by 87% in 20 months and I would imagine delivery costs are included in the gas price especially for those who have multiple deliveries a year. We have had 2 deliveries and not maintenance or inspections since December 2020. Lets not forget, they have offered me LPG at 56p per litre and a standing charge of 21.9p per day, less than it was when we took out the contract! This is so obviously a money making exercise and as they can not increase the LPG price, they are increasing the standing charge. The letter informing us about the increase mentioned the wholesale cost of gas and that we should remember that the government has agreed to a £400 payment and that we may be intitled to an additional £100. So that makes it ok for them to grab some of it. I have informed Flogas that I do not understand the increase and that they have failed to justify it to me. I have also told them that I will not be paying the increase and that they may take me to court where they will have to justify the increase in public. Flogas pointed out that the increase stands and that if unhappy, to complain.

My experience with Flogas is that they are totally useless at delivering gas cylinders - they do excel in taking one's money but that where any semblance of efficiency ceases. I have only placed two orders with them and on both occasions one needs to spend hours on the phone chasing deliveries. Promises are made and not adhered to. I have just cancelled my second ( and last ! ) order after waiting in on three days for promised deliveries. They are a fine example of how not to run a business. Avoid doing business with Flogas

FloGas have effectively trapped us in a contract that we now cannot get out of, using small print that is ambiguously worded and not highlighted or discussed anywhere in their sales / renewal process. Industry-standard notice period is 90 days - however Flogas issued us a contract that apparently requires 12 months notice starting on the last day of the contract period. So what was 'agreed' with the rep as a 2 year contract was deceptively actually issued as a 3 year contract, even though I specifically asked and negotiated 2 years due to changes in our business. I'll be pursuing this further under misselling / unfair contract law as this practice is unethical, and in volatile times denies a businesses the freedom to shop around. Flogas prices are also certainly not the cheapest available. Other providers are quoting 20p per litre less, but will understandably not hold that price whilst we serve a whole year's notice period, when the industry standard is 90 days. So other than taking the risk of canceling without another provider secured to move to, FloGas have effectively trapped us and are increasing prices knowing we cannot leave. Beware of this shark-like sales tactic. FloGas are not a business that I'd recommend, our rep didn't reply to my negotiation when I had a more competitive price - I now understand this is because they don't need to once they have us trapped!

Disgusting service, disgusting customer service. I have tried to take my name off the account and put in the new owners name for 6 months. everytime I ring them they tell mr this has been sorted then still send me the bill. now new owner (3 children under 3) can not order any more gas (she has no gas left, no heating and no hot water) until I pay the bill. they will not let her pay it as her name is not on the account!!! we are going around and around in circles. and they will not change name on the account until I pay her new bill. WHAT A COMPANY!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE 6 MONTH LATER AND STILL CAN NOT GET ANYTHING CHANGED OVER!!!! NOW THEY HAVE CANCELLED HER AUTOMATIC REFILL SENSOR ON HER TANK (WHICH IS WHY SHE HAS UNKNOWINLY RUN OUT OF GAS)

Being a commercial customer I would not expect to run out of gas because it puts the business at risk and the jobs of my employees if I can’t trade I have run out 5 times in the last 3 months and am 2 days away from running out again. Unbelievable!! Their super telemetry system is useless or maybe it’s the people who monitor it or maybe both. If they gave me a delivery every 10 days I would never run out but they just can’t get this into their thick heads. The rep doesn’t seem to care and the customer relations department make promises the don’t keep. The whole company seems to be a disorganised shambles. Trying to get through to somebody in management is impossible. I have asked for telephone numbers or email addresses but nothing is offered. I have been with flogas for many years. It was great for the first 6 or 7 but they have hit an all time low over the last 3 I spend about £12,000 a year on gas but will be spending it with another supplier shortly

Avoid this company. Use Calor or anyone else. You are on auto fill and then they do not deliver. You then notify them and they still do not deliver. They do not answer the telephone and their email service to contact them is 'undergoing maintenance'./ More like they do not have enough staff to answer the complaints they have. An awful company with abysmal custom service. AVOID AVOID

Flogas charge extortionate prices if you have been a long term customer as I was. They tricked me into paying almost double market rate for being out of contract plus credit control never reviewing my direct debit meaning I raked up over £1200 in debt in the last 12 months in addition to the £100 i paid each month, I debt i had to pay off with a credit card. I spoke to credit control who said I had they forgot to review my account but whilst it was their mistake, i still had to pay. Oh and now my price per litre was 47 pence plus vat so >50p. This is 20p more than other competitors were offering. I have paid the debt and switched saving me £250 on my first delivery from Avanti. Don't give these people your hard earned money.
