“Not please with the handling of a delivery issue. Even though the order was placed many days ahead, either the Harlow dispatch group or the shipper they used messed up the delivery day I had set. Instead delivery came a day late where I needed a costly helping hand to sent home costing me a fortune. And instead of reimbursing the shipping fees, as shipping clearly wasn't up to standard which we pay top dollar for, I didn't get any indication the company was willing to reimburse the shipping fee, which I believe would be an appropriate goodwill gesture. UPDATE: They have now acknowledge their mistake and refunded the shipping fee. I give some credits back to Simon the customer liason officer of this company for excellent customer service. Changed stars from 1 back to 4 And recommendations from 1 to 7”

“I don't usually do reviews but received a request so here it is. 6mm MDF radiator grille arrived promptly but looks like it was done on a CNC with some accuracy issues and also a blunt cutting tool. I make bespoke radiator covers amongst other things and was glad that this was for use at home and not a client, won't be using again”

“Order did not arrive when stated. Had to chase the company for 2 days until they finally informed me the courier damaged it so decided not to deliver it, but failed to tell me or the company. Replacement sent out for delivery, only half received. Company said they had no idea why only half the delivery was sent. No surprise I won’t be using again and if you need a reliable company who actually knows what to send and when it’s been received I would look else where. Abysmal service which cost expensive delays to the job.”

“Had a load of fencing delivered and other timber. All delivered on time and we're excellent quality. Not the cheapest on the market but you know quality when you see it. Would recommend harlows for all your DIY needs.”

“Timber was delivered on time which was great. One pack of timber was damp and covered in furry mould. This has obviously been left damp and began to grow mould. Still useable but gave it a jet wash before I used it.”

“Great service, the quality of decking wood was better than I expected, much thicker than that of hardware stores so should last longer and not warp so easy! The project I'm working on would have cost £360 at B&Q (with delivery), got the price down to £270 delivered, much better! Friendly, Professional delivery staff to boot! Highly recommended, will definitely use Harlows again for future timber projects! Easy 5 Stars!”
