“Never again, promised faux stone Jan 20th now a week later no stone, upset customer and I am still waiting, HD passing buck on courier, poor business our working relationship is over😡”
“Purchased washer and dryer January 02 25. Delivery was scheduled for the 10th. Their delivery service failed to deliver on the 10th 14th and 16th then told home depot manager they would deliver on the 21st. On the 17th asked for my money back bought my appliances else ware had them on the 18th. Home depot staff are wonderful the delivery service B and N pathetic . they lied to me and home depot customer service multiple times. Very dissapointed with delivery service.”
“As a busy Mission Realtor, I am always needing a small part to fix a home fo a client who is selling their home. Home Depot keeps their store predictable so I can run in and out without haveing to constantly run all over the store trying to find things. This makes me want to go there over the others in town.”
“We are Seniors and purchased a Refrigerator and Electric Range from Home Depot. The delivery person placed the items in my kitchen. It was a very cold night, hence we were advised not to plug in the Refrigerator or Range. The next morning I had an appointment. Later in the day we tried to push the refrigerator into the cabinet opening. It did not fit the cabinet opening by half an inch. The following day I went, in person, to the Home Depot Store and they refused to exchange the Refrigerator. I advised that it had arrived late in the evening and was still in the rapping A hard NO RETURN after 2 days. Now we am left to have major repairs to the cabinets to accommodate the opening. $600.00
We have been loyal customers. Terrible Customer Service.”
“Two delivery people showed up told them where the refrigerator was going, they told me it wouldn’t fit thru door I than told them they could come thru my sliding glass door, which was plenty big enough they gave every excuse and just left me! The worst Service!! Home Depot should be ashamed!!”
“I purchased a LG washer and dryer along with a stacking kit. Washer and dryer was delivered today but the driver did not have a stack kit which was supposed to be delivered and installed with the appliances. I was told I could pick one up at the local Home Depot store. Went to stor3 and that’s not the case. It needs to come from their warehouse and I needed to call their support line. I did and after more than an hour waiting and sorting the issue I’m told that it will take a week to get the stacking kit delivered. Terrible customer service. They’ve just lost a loyal customer as it’s obvious no on3 cares on the outcome. Typical big box store attitude.”
“I ordered washer and dryer. Scheduled for delivery twice but on day of delivery during delivery window informed that the shipment wasnt received. HD didn’t even have the units in stock in the entire region. Delivery emails and texts are automated and have no validation. I canceled order then went into a HD store and asked them to confirm inventory in warehouse and placed a new order. Again delivery scheduled but on day of delivery same message received -delivery of items was not made to the delivery team. On the 4th scheduled delivery they finally delivered the units. 3 weeks delayed from original delivery. HOME DEPOT - stop taking customer’s money and promising delivery without checks to ensure items are ready for delivery.”
“If there was less than 1 star I would give it. I had a washer scheduled to be delivered between 4 - 8. They arrive at 3, in the middle of my work, which I had rearranged to fit THEIR schedule. They couldn't get down the driveway because of a low hanging tree...I ask them to put it on a dolly, they said NO! They wanted to drive on the lawn but I would have to sign for that...I had already signed everything. I told them to write on the form what needed to be written and I would sign. They literally DROVE OFF WITH THE WASHER AND REFUSED TO DELIVER IT. Phone customer service and they contacted the driver who was still at the end of the driveway...he told them I REFUSED TO SIGN!!!!! Never again EVER do I set foot in Home Depot. BE FORE WARNED!”
“It has been 20 days since I ordered a very expensive and much needed oven. When I called the delivery service she would say I'll get back to you and hang up abruptly multiple times. Very unprofessional!!!!!!! DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT DELIVERY!!!!!! Even asked if I could pick it up.
Still haven't received it. I need to purchase other appliances. Won't be from Home Depot.”
“So the last time I purchased a major appliance at Home Depot I said never again because they literally lie to you to make a sale. They will tell you that they're outside contractors will in fact hook up a gas dryer, that's not true they're not gas fitters so your dryer is going to sit in the laundry room until you can organize a gas fitter to come by. That was my last experience and for some reason, probably because I'm an idiot I went back to Home Depot this time to buy a 48 inch vanity for my bathroom. I was told that the contractor would pick up the vanity and deliver it to my home, install it and dispose of the old unit of course I am paying for all of these services, 3 days later I got a phone call from the contractor they're not going to pick it up for me and they're also not going to call Home Depot so now I get to deal with that. Then the next day I get another phone call we can't come on the 23rd like we told you now it's going to be by sometime in January... WTF. Hire competent contractors yours are ridiculously useless. That being said I canceled the entire order and I'm now going to Rona.”
“Today I needed to order two large items and schedule a delivery, and an installation. It was a BIG project! KENA CAMPBELL at the costumer service desk at West Eugene Hone Depot helped me get it done! From start to finish, placing the order, taking payment, scheduling delivery, KENA was professional and knowledgeable! Thanks Kena Campbell and that you Hone Depot for my new closet organizer!!!

“Home Deport had their installer visit our home and put in a small kitchen. After 4 months, the drawers and cabinets began to fall apart and became misaligned. We sent photos to Home Hardware, and the cabinet manufacturer sent out new cabinet doors. The problem? Home Hardware refused to cover the cost of re-installation, so we ended up hiring a professional and paid for the installation twice. If you took your car to the garage, they put in a new transmission, and the transmission broke down after a few months, the manufacturer would replace the transmission under warranty. Would the mechanic say, "Here's your new transmission, put it in yourself or you can pay twice to have it installed? Not likely. So, we have had two previous kitchens renovated by Home Hardware — there won't be a third.”
“If your looking for wood your ok..anything else you'll never get help your on your own..this store sucks noe worked around 20 mins..trying to find help lol what a joke”
“I bought fridge from Ajax home depot, the sales guy said while moving the fridge movers will relocate old fridge or take away as I decide at the time of delivery.
Mover delivered the fridge and realized that I am not giving away my old fridge they denied to move the old single door fridge to basement, saying that it is too big to move without removing the door and went away. I asked them to take new fridge back as there was complete mess in living area. Home depot customer service scheduled to come again after 5 days to move and until then I have stay with al this mess. If sales guy told me that movers will take fridge away and not relocating inside house I would not have bought fridge from them. For m bad guests had to witness the mess at home due to all fridges and food stuff held around the living area. Many of my friends told the had similar bad experience with home depot orders. Home depot customer service did not even consider compensation for my food item getting spoiled and my effort too keep fridges disconnected and keeping defrosted .more over I had to take day off to accommodate their delivery timings.”
“Your appliance warranty is horrendous, no service, call was answered in Jamaica, no show of repair company, lots of scam emails demanding money before attending. Not happy at all, especially after paying for extended warranty on a fride I bought 2 years ago.”
“Bought an item October 11. Guaranteed delivery October 18th. Never even shipped. Showed up on my credit card statement 7 weeks later. No communication what so ever and no refund until I spent 40 minutes of my day talking to a bot to fight for my money back. Wonder how many people don't or don't know they were charged that gives HD free profits without any contract fulfilled. They need to donate all that money to charity instead of rich owners pockets. Order number was 0236389428”
“The staff of Home Depot in Dartmouth Crossing lied to me about Ridgid tools having a lifetime warranty. After buying over $2000 worth of Ridgid tools, the battery operated circular saw died on it's 2-3 use. When I brought it back to the store expecting it to be exchanged, the way I was led to believe, I found out that it is not a true warranty, like Mastercraft had, but it is a service agreement, valid only if the tool is registered, something I wasn't told I had to do. Now, because I haven't registered it, being unaware it was necessary, I have over $2000 worth of tools with only a 3 year repair warranty, and since the saw I just bought was manufactured in 2022, I only have a 1 year warranty it it. When I explained what I was told by the tool department staff, the manager told me I wasn't the first person who told him that, but that it sucks to be me (not his exact words), because even though I was told incorrect information, I should have read the owners manual. So much for being able to trust the store associates. Do your due diligence dealing with these guys.”
“I returned a couple of items.
One I had receipt. I returned 3 feet of baseboard. The rep said I bought only 9 ft. o
OK,you have the 13 ft T 8.95 per ft. Fine, I didn’t make the mistake. Just give me credit for the 9 ft. They acted as if I was a crook.
I returned a curb thingy. It is worth $110.00 plus tax. I couldn,t find the receipt. As Home Depot don,t tell the name of what you are buying, just funny looking numbers and letters appear on the receipts. However I gave the clerk a pile of receipts to go through. She said it didn’t,t appear on my card. I know I definitely bought it there.
They gave me a credit card to use in future for the amount.
They asked for my drivers licence id and told me this is a warning. WHAT.?
What for. I’m not a crook, I didn’t steal it, I have never stole anything in my life.
Don’t treat me like a crook.
Then as I was walking away, I heard her say to another employee.
: you need to talk to them, as they are making too many mistakes:
The employees make mistakes, and I get on the WARNING LIST.
I had just spent a few thousand dollars in the last month.
No thanks Home Depot”
