The Polo park Home Depot in Winnipeg Manitoba has removed all cashiers and installed self check outs . I hate using the self checkouts. They got rid of the cashiers and expect the customer to do the work they paid cashiers to do. Give the customers the choice or give the customers a discount for using the self checkout. So much for customer service. I’ll take my business elsewhere

Twice in the month of February I ordered a rolling work box with a workbench top on it both times it showed up from their delivery severely damaged I had to refuse. Both shipments were talking about a cabinet That cost $1196. I do not understand why they can’t get it to me without it being damaged as a big company they say it’s not their problem. It’s a shippers problem. They pick the shipper. Therefore it is their problem. They’ve lost me as a customer. I will now go to Lowe’s or Harbor freight or Granger to buy another box. Very disgusted.

Do not ever order blinds custom made from Home depot. First time I did the package arrived empty. Had to wait for replacements. Tried them again and did not receive all blinds. After an hour talking with customer service, they told me blinds were delayed. No notice to me. I told them to cancel and they said it is up to manufacturer discretion to cancel or not. I'm sorry WHAT!!!! I said as the customer to cancel, I dont care about their excuses. NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!

This review is for Home Depot/Citibank credit review. I got an email today my Home Depot account that had a Zero balance was closed due to inactivity! They didn't even have the decency to send me something saying "hey you haven't used your card in awhile" I would have bought some air filters for my house. Had my bill been late or delinquent I would have been notified. They just close your account that has no balance with no notice. Just found out my credit score went from 646 to 630!! I am livid. Don't use Citibank or get a Home Depot card. They DO NOT value their paying customers if they close your account because you haven't used it since you paid it off!

I have been The Home Depot customer for a long time. Last December,2023, I purchased a laundry machine , and supposed to be delivered on the 30th of December, but the shipping company, didn’t call to confirm internet 2 hours before they wanted to deliver the machine. I was not home, and they supposed to arrange 24 hours prior. I told them I am not home and you should had call me to confirm the date and time. Since then, the shipping company has been delaying to ship the machine since then. Just recently I went to the store and explained to the store associate Veltza, she showed empathy and was surprised what was happening from the shipping company. She called the shipping company and they said that apparently they don’t have the unit. Anyways, Veltza, rearranged everything and called me the next day to confirm that the machine will be delivered on the 25th of January. Today is 22 January, the shipping company called me again and they said that it’s going to be delayed again. This nonsense should had never happened from The Home Depot, I have tossed the old laundry machine and we had to pay Laundry store to wash our clothes. Very very disappointed and unsatisfied

Several years ago I bought a fridge that was supposed to be delivered on the weekend but it took over a year to get it and I had to fight like hell to get it even then. Now I find out my neighbors across the street had a stove from Home Depot and they were supposed to deliver it and pick up the old one. I watched as Home Depot had someone show up with it after my neighbors had left the house. They never got a call and the stove was not left there. The old one was supposed to be taken away and doesn’t work. The new one has not been brought back and Home Depot has not been back with the new one or to take the old one as my neighbor paid. Home Depot is refusing to deliver it and are just making them call to 1-800 number. No service no honour and no honesty Home Depot. Don’t shop there!!!!

My son borrowed had to borrow a drain auger to unplug my drains yesterday. We were 10mins late returning the equipment on Xmas Eve am and they charged us $10 more - Merry Xmas Home Depot!

I received notification on December 18 that my appliances would be delivered on Dec19 between 2:00-6:00. I notified the superintendent of my condominium and she padded and held the elevator. On the 19th I proceeded to empty the refrigerator and freezer in preparation for delivery. At 6:00 pm when I had not received notification or delivery I called customer service, after a 22 min wait on hold I was informed that they were running late and I would have delivery within the hour. At 7:30 pm I again waited on hold for over 25 min. The representative tried unsuccessfully to contact the delivery company. She apologetically suggested I call again in the morning. I then had to replace everything back into the refrigerator and freezer. This morning I spoke with customer service and they were able to get a date of Dec 22 for my delivery. My issue is not with customer service, they were extremely helpful and understanding, and tried very hard to contact delivery. My issue is with the lack of communication from the delivery company. The least they could have done was call me to explain. Hopefully I will receive my appliances on Friday🙏🏻 Thank you for allowing me to vent!

Home Depot customer support/service has always been terrible and just gets worse with time. 1. They don't answer the phone. 2. They have an auto attachment which forces you to speak. I don't want my voice saved on their data servers. I want to use my keypad. 3. They're website sucks and again forces you to accept cookies which again I don't care to use. Home Depot is all about taking your information and sharing it with others (including the government)! 4. In store, good luck finding staff to actually help you (if they have the knowledge to). If you do find one they typically send you to the other side of the store and hope not to see you again. 5. They don't have everything (understandably) but they are not well stocked on what they do carry.

OH SO BAD! The Home Depot customer service department Iftakhar,Nayaab provides no support or resolutions to problems just sends pages and pages of Home Depot policy on why he won't help you with your problem. I was in tears! Please use a different hardware store!

Its not the product, its the service. Home Depot sucks BIG time when it comes to service. Try calling the store, your call is typically NOT answered and if your call is answered, you are typically "disconnected" or placed on hold for long periods and often transferred to the wrong department... Dealing with Home Depot is usually a horrible experience. Not only this but their web site forces cookies on your computer, they force you to agree to their terms when placing a review, they force you to speak into their automated calling system (recording and saving your voice for data collection purposes) and they share ALL your data with the government. AVOID Home Depot as much as you can.

Very bad experience, poor workmanship with installation of insulation in attic. Caused mould so bad that it spread throughout my home even inside my furnace and duct system. Finally have a court order (Oct 31 2023) for Home depot to pay for the damages and they are not complying. Damages have cause me financially hardship and health issues due to black mould. I'm taking next steps to enforce the judgment. I do not recommend home depot NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY

Had Carpet Cleaning done Nov 6 company they used was Steam Dry and it was really bad. Carpet looked worse than when they started. I contacted them and sent pictures and they came out a 2nd time and still not good. Looks like they used dirty water and left stains. Do not use their services .

Twice in last year l have ordered online. Neither made it. After a month of waiting I had to have orders labeled as lost and had money refunded. Best advice stay away

I purchased a 13” Dewalt planer from the Duncan BC outlet, the woman at the pro counter was very helpful. This went for a s*** after that, first delivery date was Nov. 6-8, when I checked on the 8th the item was still showing as waiting to be picked up. I called Home Depot and got a new delivery date and the name of the company delivering, Day and Ross trucking. Looking at their tracking site it showed it had just been picked up on the 6th, four days later it’s in Burnaby BC and is still there today the 16th. I have contacted both companies and have received a great deal of lip service and not so accurate information. Home Depot did give me a 50.00 gift card for the failure of the delivery Company not delivering on the first date. Now 9 days later still no planer and a line of BS from Day and Ross it is in Nanaimo when their tracking site showed it STILL in Burnaby. Very disappointed in Home Depot. I will be hard pressed to support their business again.

If I could give a lower score than 1 I would, bought washer dryer from Kanata store location, complete with delivery included but cannot get the services just set up lose time at work and the delivery company cancels with excuses. I cannot believe their customer service help line is no help and just does nothing to resolve the issue. So Sad so disappointed with this big box store
