Home Depot store may be ok but their card services are horrible. Dont use you card for 2 years and they will cancel it on you with no notification. Super handy to find this out when needing to purchase a washer and dryer. Their only solution reapply for credit....screw that will take my business else where.

Do not buy hardwood flooring online from Homedepot. First, they changed the hardwood floors I bought online. I order a given brand and color (Optiwood waterproof hardwood cognac) engineered hardwood and they sent me something else chipper (Wellmade hardwood) without any notice of the change. Second, I called Home depot online and after my called they matched the product I bought with the product they sent. Third, the adviced me to go to the nearest store to solve the problem. In this case the store located at 6129 FM 1488, Magnolia, TX 77354. They made fan of me saying that is the same thing. Fourth, they sent the order using a carrier that did not have the proper equipment to deliver it. It took forever to get the product in place.

I ordered an AC online and decided to cancel the order a couple days after. The agent over the phone confirmed that it was cancelled successfully. It was not. The large heavy box arrived at my door, and I could not move it. Called to set up an online return which took over an hour. I had to call UPS after that to set up a date/time for pick up. They never came or called. I called UPS again and it was only machine picking up and I was told there would a fee of 5-6 dollar to schedule a pickup! I called the Home Depot again and asked them to reach out to the UPS. They could not, I asked for a manager they connected me to a supervisor which called me a day later than they told me she would. Again, I scheduled another pick up through her, UPS did not show up again and no one informed me again. I keep emailing the Home Depot after every failed attempt to just return this item, they respond after hours and just say we apologize we shall schedule another pick up. When exactly? days later?! After talking/being on hold for almost 4 hours, they did NOTHING. The AC is still with me, and they have my money $825.

Have been a steady customer of Home Depot , 1867 Victoria Ave. East in Regina and spending upward of $1,000.00 a year or more. Went to the paint dept to get paint for a fence. The gray-haired woman there was rude, unhelpful and dismissive. It wasn't the first time as I had bought paint before and she was there, mad that I wanted to see the colour in the can as the paint spill on the lid didn't match(and she insisted it did it just wasn't dry enough - ends up it didn't match even when dry)however, this time, I required several kinds of paint and she refused to help me find them. She said how was she supposed to know where they were. I finally found one kind and waited while she mixed the colour for me trying to ignore her behavior, until she turned to a recently arrived male customer and started helping him . She knew I was waiting to get help with the rest of the paint I had wanted to buy. I quietly voiced that I had been waiting for her and she threw at me that I wasn't first- the man who had recently arrived at the counter was first - and, backed by this clerk the male customer proceeded to yell at the top of his lungs calling me every name in the book. I immediately went to the manager of that store and spoke, at length to him. He said he'd certainly look into it after I said that I certainly didn't feel comfortable visiting that paint dept or even that store again if she was moved to another dept(and, I pointed out how many other customers did she do that to and they said nothing and took their business elsewhere). I had to have the paint that was already mixed brought to a corner of the store and opened while I checked the colour as this clerk continued to stay in the dept. In fact, it's been two weeks and she's still working in the paint dept.. I talked to a longtime clerk there and they said she regularly made their lives(more than a few of the employees) miserable and regularly did things like ignoring customers and putting customers who came later first - especially if they were male. Don't know what hold this clerk has on the company(or the manager) that they choose to put her first over the welfare and business of customers without whom they wouldn't be in business. Me? I'm taking my business elsewhere and I suggest others do the same.

Don't even bother ordering online. The first door I ordered was cancelled with no explanation. After phoning I was told it was no longer in stock. I ordered a different door and in a few days I get another email saying it was on back order. It would be shipped the end of September. I need it ASAP. I could not cancel online so yet another phone call to cancel. Supposedly the order should show as canceled in 24 hours. We shall see. Please update your inventory online. This a waste of everyone's time and is extremely frustrating. I am so done!

Home Depot Guelph has the worse customer service in Canada. I bought a fridge back in March arrived 4 week later and it was dented, they took it back and they keep calling me for the last two months with a delivery date and the day before the transportation company calls and cancels. Trying to call home depot appliances department in Guelph is a nightmare, their employees and Managers are useless they do not care about their customers and are totally clueless you talk to one person she promises a delivery and then another person calls saying that I won`t receiving a delivery until September 1st. This is 5 months of waiting for a fridge. Please do not shop at home depot do go to lowes or someone else!!

We bought an RCA fridge through Home Depot. It did not work when we plugged it in and there was strong smell of electrical burning, so we started a claim through the manufacturer, Curtis International. They requested we take photos of the fridge, bill of sale and then scrub of the model number and cut the cord off before they could proceed with a replacement or a refund. Since then we have had numerous emails and started of with Joel, then Gianna and now Erica Wilson. There is no way to talk to a representative. Yesterday we received an email stating unless we contact them within seven days the case will be closed. I looked up Curtis Internal reviews and find many complaints similar to ours and none have been refunded. I believe this company is a scam and Home Depot has caused us to lose $631.00.

I purchased a stove on March 31 which I was told will be delivered on June 21, then rescheduled for July 21 and today I got a call that delivery is rescheduled for September. I called 1-800-759-2054 x 2540 to cancel this order. I was on hold for 45 mins when someone answered and took my order number and the transferred me to another person so I was on hold for another 15 mins when I was disconnected after an hour on hold. I called again and as I am writing this I am on hold for 20 mins. All the while your message is saying my call is important to you! I just would like to cancel this order and take Home Depot off my list of places to shop. Also this purchase is billed om my HD credit card and building up interest while I am still waiting for delivery which will be 6 months in September

Bad Customer Service people : I visited Home Depot, 36 st NE, Calgary store on 12-July-2022 at 4:30 PM to return some flowers. Lady present at that start laughing after looking at me that I come for the refund for the flowers. I told her there is nothing to laugh. We talked with one of the costumer service at other location, and they told us you can bring the flowers back, if they are not growing, we will refund it back. Other gentleman available at the 36th street Home depot refused for return.

The worst company. I ordered online some products that said they were in stock. After an hour I get an email stating that my order has been canceled with no explanation. It takes 5 to 6 business days to get a credit back to your credit card. On the phone they say that the crew I’ll be 24 hours. When you call all you get is a person that says one moment I will switch you over to another person. They customer service is the worst for a big box store.

This is a bit long, but I’m hoping you please read all of it. I’ve been waiting on the finish of my renovations to post this for the end result. I started a kitchen renovation last October. Worked with a designer from Home Depot. She was difficult from day one, and at times rude. Annoyed at any of my changes. I thought that was the idea of a designer, was to help you get the right fit for your space and needs. Unfortunately, lowes could not do the things I needed in their mid line cupboards. Was promised my custom order cabinets from Home Depot for the last week of November. Enio took the week of December 12th off to allow for a couple week delay. Cupboards did not show up. When I started to press the designer in December about the delivery, she would not take my calls or answer my emails. I find out the first week of January that she retired December 31st. I guess the reason of her lack of enthusiasm for my order. As the order showed up January 14th, it was clear there were issues from the moment we opened them. As we started installing, drawers were breaking, doors were falling apart, there was damage to several pieces and somehow the sink cabinet was water damaged?? Worse, the island was completely the wrong color and there were many wrong cabinets. The designer missed the measurements. The window wall was short space by 9” for the cabinets. The over range cabinets allowed only 19” of space to the range hood. Code is 30”. My 48” gas range is in her pictures. The pantry wall had 3 sets, to be 24” deep, one of the uppers was only 12” deep. I guess to attach to thin air?? The designer sold me $400 worth of soft close hinges as she said my order did not come with them, but they did. She should know her product. The pantry wall was 5 1/4” from the ceiling when the rest of the cabinets are 4 1/4”. Leaving issues with the crown moulding. The island is a very, very dark grey, nearly black which was to be light grey for a mild contrast to the white cabinets. The fridge upper and panels are so tight , you can hardly fit the fridge. Etc, etc, etc. As I obviously made complaints to Home Depot immediately. I was given what they call a resolution specialist. This person promised everything fixed. By this point I have been living with no workable kitchen for 3 months. 7 people. The specialist took longer and longer to get back to me, each time promising answers by the end of day. One of his emails, tells me that he has such serious problems far greater than mine that I was not a priority. He said things as gas and roof leaks. SCARY TO THINK OF BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS! It took until march for the order to go back to the cabinet maker for correct cabinets. Then several more weeks to get the doors replaced. I canceled their counter people as I would never use Home Depot again. My deposit for the counter I’m told is at the Woodstock location as a store credit and I can go drive and pick it up. Originally, I was told to consider it a service fee? I was promised compensation for all the trouble and the wrong island colour. At the end of all of this ridiculous situation, my resolution was NOTHING. The BBB tried to resolve things but we were unsuccessful. Home Depot’s answer is they gave me $2,800 is extra cabinets. The cupboards I got were the replacement ones that were wrong and damaged. One of the replacement cabinets fell apart as we were placing it up. Their holes, fasteners etc. we had to L bracket to reinforce and create completely new screw holes, glue it and more. They sent no fasteners for any of the new drawer fronts. Most of the replacement doors are mitred very poorly. This was to be a very exciting project and beautiful custom kitchen for me. It has been completely ruined by this company. I’m my eyes a horrible, horrible rude, lying company. I urge anyone who needs goods like what the Home Depot Carrie’s that you find another store. I WILL NEVER, EVER USE HOME DEPOT FOR ANYTHING AGAIN. As there are still unresolved problems that they do not want to address, I have had to hire a lawyer .

I purchased a vanity and paid to have it delivered. The delivery men were rude and were refusing to drop off as requested. (Needed it in the basement and staff said no problem) Reluctantly they did so, but after a lot of complaints and excuses. Then booked to have a bathroom Reno done. 4 days later, someone came to measure for the estimate. 2 weeks later still no word. After 2 days and multiple attempts to contact- found out the order had been canceled. Had to start the work order over again and they would call back within 24-48 hours. It’s been 2 weeks. Don’t even bother!!! Lord knows how long the actual work would take to complete! Don’t advertise Reno’s if you can’t do them. Over 2 months so moving on. Their customer service is a joke too. They put you on hold then disconnect

My complaint is regarding the service, OR LACK OF SERVICE, provided by kitchen designers at the NORTH London store in London. I had an appointment May 4, 2022 to get quotes to design cabinets with Silestone Calacutta gold. I wanted estimates with Different colours of Maple Shaker cabinets. The designer said she would work on it and email me quotes. After a couple of weeks, I returned asking for quotes. She was frazzled and said she was really BUSY and didn't have time. I had her pull my file and make a change to one dimension. She assured me that she would work on it. A couple more weeks pass, I asked for another appointment so they had to make the time for this project. The designer present said that I should wait for my designer to return.. She assured me that she would discuss with her and if she didn't have time, she would work on it and get back to me. FAST FORWARD, to NOW. NO CONTACT. I complained , I wanted the same counter I ordered from Home Depot so wanted them to quote this project. I had one other quote from independent contractor. They have a 10-14 week wait. Home Depot was "SUPPOSED TO BE " quicker ! When I called the store to complain and get a quote JUST for. the countertop since I loved Stoneworx, their subcontractor, the designer was QUITE RUDE to me. HE SAID THEY WERE MONTHS BEHIND WORKING ON OTHER PROJECTS. I said, well I had a consult almost 2 months ago with all kinds of assurances and NO followup. IF YOU DON'T WANT MY BUSINESS, SAY IT SO I CAN MOVE FORWARD!!!!!! I think it is important that SUBCONTRACTORS, are aware that they are turning away potential business. Home Depot ITSELF, offers great warranties and is big box so a customer can be assured accountability. UNFORTUNATELY, your experience and ability to get service is solely dependant on the staff. I tried to call HEAD OFFICE to have them quote me. They just forwarded me to the same staff!!! NO ACCOUNTABILITY , So WHY would they CHANGE. Buyer Beware, Gina I

I bought a Rheem 60gal gas water-heater from home-depot web and spend $800.00 to have it installed on June 22, 2022. The water-heater not working properly, it stop every 20 seconds. I called home-depot immediately, they noted down everything and said will call me back. I did not get any answer until the next day, I called them again after 4 hours hanging, waiting and transfering from one person to another they gave me 2 options 1, Return the product to home-depot store and order anther one. 2, Find someone to repair it myself. I asked them if I return the water-heater and buy a new one I have to spend another $800.00 to install it, who will pay it? The supervisor said will answer me next day. Then, they send a email told me they can not assist me for this matter. They give me a phone number of Rheem, ask me to contact with them. I called Rheem, a lady named Cristina talked to me rude and impatiently, I want to talk to her supervisor, she said she is the supervisor. The problem did not resolved but caused me very angry. So, DO NOT BUY RHEEM WATER-HEATER FROM HOME-DEPOT!

You’ve asked me to post this review to help future customers. However, based on the MANY negative reviews on this page, I can see that zero attention has been paid to satisfy your customer experience. Absolutely horrible delivery and zero communication. No accountability and a huge lack of responsibility. SHAME ON YOU!

ordered a dishwasher making sure it was stock as we all know the delays we are facing post pandemic. The delivery wasn't done the scheduled date because apparently, there was a glitch creating the delivery request... Happens. The following Tuesday, I get a call from the delivery company saying their truck broke down so they can't deliver. I don't believe that at all but at this point, let's reschedule for Saturday. Got a call at 7 am saying they can't deliver because LG hasn't sent the dishwasher to them. ;-(. want to cancel at this point because they don't deserve my money. I needed to do that on the phone with a lady who had to authorize it AND the I HAD to go back to Home Depot so the people there can CALL back Customer service and wait for 30 minutes so they could get me my money back. THEIR WHOLE SYSTEM IS RIGGED. no human talking to another, no one in charge, no one with a real solution. I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from them ever and I am remodeling my bathroom and Kitchen.

Purchased carpet 2017 for light traffic upper floor with 25 year Texture warranty. After 4 years carpet and underpad are completely worn out as stated by their own carpet installer. No cushion left in underpad and crunches when you walk on it. Instead of offering to replace carpet they intentionally worked to void the warranty, going so far as to fabricate a story that my renters must have damaged and replaced 2 small carpet patches ~ 4” X 2’ in both bedroom doorways (patches part of the original install) had been replaced by my renters. Their proof, the tape on the back of the carpet wasn’t what they expected. Seriously?? Seamed patches weren’t noticeable until they lifted my carpet. If it wasn’t noticeable then the carpet had been equally worn and not noticeably newer. Chances of someone damaging that small bit of carpet in both doorways and nowhere else it highly unlikely. Also pulled up carpet on one stair leaving a staple for someone to step on. Horrible experience, I wouldn’t recommend buying any flooring from Home Depot.

If I could give a 0 I would. We ordered a Saluspa online. The spa was delivered to our carport without a signature and upon set up within 24 hours, the pump was faulty (leaking from the bottom of the unit). Customer service agreed to the return and looked into replacing just the pump, how we could package it up to take it back and then put us through to another department to process the return. It was at this point that the return team said that this was non-return item (which it is) and the original agent that helped us didn't know what he was saying???? - we also said that the return policy CLEARLY states we were to inspect the items and sign the delivery receipt - there wasn't one! After being escalated to the DASHBOARD Team we were told the same thing. So we are out $800 for a spa that doesn't work. How is this ok?

As a senior on a fixed income and unable to hold a gas trimmer anymore, I opted to buy a B&D Max String trimmer #LST201, delivery was great, I read the manual, attached the guard and set about to charge the 20V battery, which took 5 HOURS, put it on the trimmer and proceeded to trim, battery lasted only 23 Minutes????? recharge took another 4+HOURS. Now I have to purchase another battery at 3/4 cost of the trimmer. Terrible additional cost! will return trimmer, and look elsewhere.
