Today, I recently had an unsettling experience with Home Depot Credit Services that I feel compelled to share. Despite diligently making payments throughout the past year, I was shocked to discover that these payments had yet to be allocated towards my promotional items. Here's a breakdown of my grievances: After my review and phone call with Credit Services Management, here is what I gathered, and in my opinion, is the prioritization of the bottom line deception to consumers. Payment Allocation: According to management personnel, all payments are directed towards higher-interest items first. This means that even though I made regular payments, none of it went towards my promotional items from what was reviewed. Manual Allocation Requirement: Adding insult to injury, I learned from this management person that customers must manually specify where their payments should go during each billing cycle. This lack of automatic allocation is burdensome and easily overlooked. Logging into the portal, I saw no visible option to make such a selection. Expired Promotional Items: As a result of this payment allocation system, my promotional items are expiring in 3 days without being paid off. Despite my frustration, Home Depot Credit Services refused to extend the expiration dates, suggesting that I have to wait until the promotion expires, which is a ploy to capitalize on higher fees in my opinion. False Promises: Management suggested I could call in after expiration to " see if they can potentially extend the promotional period". However, this backtracks on their initial stance only adds to the confusion and frustration. Fine Print Confusion: While management argued that this information was clearly stated in the fine print of the application, it's unreasonable to expect customers to remember such details months later. This lack of openness only serves to benefit the company at the cost of its customers. Final Decision: Feeling deceived and manipulated, I promptly closed my account. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and disillusioned with Home Depot Credit Services. To me, their practices prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. In conclusion, Home Depot is effectively exploiting customers' lack of awareness and comprehension of its policies through its credit services. This deceitful approach erodes trust and tarnishes the company's reputation. I think about all the older people to whom sales representatives sell these promotions. I urge others to exercise caution when engaging with their credit services, as they prioritize their bottom line at the expense of customer trust and satisfaction. Signed, one disappointed human!

It was easy to place an order online. The rest was a cluster. I purchased a set of chairs. One of the chairs had a manufacturing defect. I could not return just one and exchange for another. I had to return both chairs. A UPS ticket was generated. I was told to place chairs in the original packaging where they were dropped off. The pick-up was scheduled for the next day. UPS never showed up. Oh, and you cannot reach a live person on the 800 number. Everything must be done via a text chat. I wasted a lot of time on hold until I figured that out. The pick-up was rescheduled and the UPS driver showed up with only one ticket and could not pick up the order since he needed two tickets to be generated. Online chat scheduled another pick-up. This time via a third party called I-logistics. They picked up and later that day UPS showed up with two tickets for the pick up which had already occurred. So 17 days later I had not received a credit. I returned to the online chat and discovered that the return had never been processed. The chat service rep immediately initiated the return process. We will see if I receive a credit within 2-5 business days as now claimed.

I ordered a Stove and Dishwasher. They were supposed to be delivered. The delivery drivers they sent out to be delivered were rude and very disrespectful to us. They refused to what was supposed to be done.they were arguing with us and called us Bro and other words that were not appropriate. They took back the Stove and Dishwasher back to the store where I purchased it. I called customer service and felt like this was not handled well. I am out of a stove for 5 days before it can be delivered. I am not pleased with everything right now.I shop at home depot for over 30 years and I will now shop somewhere else. I suggest Home Depot to retrain your employees on customer service and how to treat them with respect.

The employees are wonderful but please, please bring back humans to check us out, instead of the damn self-checkout stations!!!! Companies, these days, are just trying to eliminate employees to the detriment of the shoppers !!!

If I could give zero I would. We ordered a table over a month ago. It was supposed to be delivered within two weeks. We waited and waited. Kept saying "In transit." We finally started phoning customer service. "We're on it." Over and over. We have been promised at least 3 delivery dates. Finally they said "We've marked it 'urgent' It will definitely be there Thursday." No delivery. "We've told delivery and they've promised Friday." No delivery. Friday was the last possible day for us as we needed the table for our cottage. Now the window is closed. Terrible terrible terrible. Will never buy from them again.

I had the best experience ordering window coverings from Home Depot Belleville. I went to the store, an associate set up an appointment for the designer to contact me, Ashley did so that same day! She set the appointment for the next week, she was punctual, very knowledgeable and very helpful. She took the measurements and then said the installer would get ahold of me to come and verify them. That happened a couple of days later. Within 2 weeks the window coverings all arrived and Kerry the installer was here and did the install. She was quick, cleaned up and gave me the tips on how to clean all the different blinds. What a great experience from start to finish and the windows coverings all look beautiful! Well done Belleville Ontario Home Depot, thank you!

ordered batteries for my motorcycle for a ride this weekend, the HD website said delivery mid week so thought. had some wiggle room, but not so much still haven't received and they don't have a date for me. HD in the store not so bad, HD On-lime is the worst for accurate deliveries based on my experience.

We ordered a door. That was shown to be in stock. I was told the window for delivery was 3 weeks now it has been 6 weeks. And my order hasn’t even been picked yet. I’m afraid to order anything else. As it will surely not come in a reasonable time. Back to Rona I go!!

While Home Depot themselves are amazing, they really need to do something about their installers! JD tile tried several times to charge me more money and refused to refund what I had already paid when I ended up hiring O’Reilly Renovations, Who did a marvellous job at a third of the price JD Tile tried to charge me.

I stood at a counter for 10 min before anyone would acknowledge me. They hire people who know nothing about the department they’re in. I wanted a cleaner for my sidewalk that would not kill my grass. Blank stares. I wanted replacement parts for my glass shower doors. Dude tries to sell me new doors ($700) when I needed $30 parts that he told were not made. Horrible service. I needed at 16x18 vent cover. No one around to check inventory. (Sterling VA store)

On 5/6/24 I called a Home Depot in Columbus Ohio and made arrangements for them to measure my front door to then come back and install a new storm door. The measurement was to be on 5/13/24. On 5/14/24 I tried texting and calling 4 times to find out the status of my measurement and what the next step would be. I was unable to reach anyone who could answer that question. I finally found a text number and was able to cancel the installation but they refused to refund the $40. I’m going back to Lowe’s, which has done thousands of dollars in installs for me, I never should have called Home Depot.

The worst ever racist Customer Experience Manage I found in life is Mr DON Cox in 600 Fanshawe Park Road Home Depot. Yesterday, I returned a blind to the customer return session which was not functioning well. It has a life time warranty on it. Diane, who was there at the time asked me to leave it there and would do the needful. This morning I received a call from a female voice telling me that she is the session HEAD and could not find the sticker on the blind. I have no clues. I have been shopping in this store for long many years..and have no clue what that would mean. I had met this lady a couple of days prior to taking it here and made sure that it is returnable and she promised she would repair it or replace it. Today she called me to say she is going to throw this away as it cant be repaired or replaced due to reasons only know to her. She told me in threatening language 'dont talk nonsense' . Reporting this DON Cox immediately was the most disastrous experience- He as he looks a ferocious and aggressive mannered 'customer service manage ( as he claimed) - was not willing to listen nor do some enquiries about it. His facial expressions to me appeared impolite and mannerless. He was trying to justify the 'female voice' claiming 'she may have..... she might have..... she is not the manager.... we will not take any action against her..... and so on. Within me I was laughing at his unpatching profession and character. All my blinds were brought from Home Depot, and a couple of years ago a gentle man had replace it for me without any hurdles. DOn Cox might have been under influence of some drugs or alcohol to have spoken ion the manner in which presented. He was very dramatic ... closing eyes.... drowsy.... unfriendly.... This was not the Home Depot usually.... How come Home Depot is tolerating such people as these. I am almost guessing that Mr Don Cox and the female voice did the dirty talk together over the phone. As he was not surprised when I reported the ill-versed tel. talk. Is Home Depot at 600 Fanshawe Park is stooping down to too mean standards by employing these 'little lilliputians'- Get these rotten employees away and save the Home Depot. I pray that Home Depot can reverse back to professionalism and gentleness. customers doesn't want to see it as 'Conflict Depot... rather a Home Depot.....

Horrible experience had you guys come out twice to measure for doors 3 interior 1 exterior 1st I had to call to find out if my doors arrived no one called me 2nd scheduler scheduled 3 interior doors to be installed today 5/10 when the installer showed up he is telling me he is only installing two of the 3 interior doors. 4 he re measures and says the measurements are correct but homedepot put them in wrong. 5 homedepot is saying I cannot have the doors I have chose and paid for because they won’t fit because they are too tall when the guy who measured and when we we’re picking out our doors after the 2 measurements was never mentioned because they were able to be cut down. Now I have to wait another 2 months for this problem to be resolved after you guys took my 5000.00 dollars and 4 months later I have nothing.
