“Requesting the Rx from my vet and shipping out the Rx was way slower than other online vet pharmacies. It took 5 business days, and would have taken longer if I didn't call multiple times to move the process along.”
“Took a couple days to receive email reply sometimes. Took at least 7 days to manage to get vet approval, I had to call to find out what's going on. No email explaining delay. Disappointed.
Plus the "How to use 1-month Bravecto" sheets give wrong information. Sheets received are for 3-month Bravecto. Lack of, attention to detail”
“I have mixed feelings about Koala Health. While I like the convenience (and discount as a new customer), I was frustrated by the time it took to fill the prescription (6 days before it was mailed, not 1-3 as mentioned on the website). I do like all the info that came with my prescription - very helpful.
I'm also not a fan of being kept in the dark about my auto-refill. Unlike some other pet pharmacies (like Chewy), I can't do anything online - everything is by phone. Want your prescription a few days earlier or later? You have to call. Want to cancel? You have to call. What a pain!”
“Not a stellar experience. I had to call to get updates, the pharmacist could not find the Rx that my vet had faxed 2 days before. It seemed really disorganized. The customer rep, Allison, was sweet and did her best so kudos to her.”
“I was told by Koala that the Rx I ordered for my dog required my birthday as it was a "controlled substance". According to my vet Gabapentin is NOT a controlled substance. I also don't understand why someone had to sign the delivery.”
“I love the idea of a mail order pharmacy, the one thing that may make things easier is to accept prescriptions via email (from consumer)
My vet won’t fax directly to you so I have to get the hard copy and send it via postal mail. It ends up taking roughly 2 weeks by the time it’s sent to you and you send his medicine to me. He’s an elderly dog and has run out of medication due to this process.”
“Prescription took long for pharmacy to receive. I had to reach out to check on status of my order for the process to get going. Took way longer than I expected.”
“I am happy with your prices. I am very disappointed with your shipping service. I ordered my dog's Veteroyl on Tuesday. It is now Sunday and I still do not have his medicine. He has not had his medicine since Wednesday.”
“I am very new to your product of chewable medication. So far, my dog will not accept it. I have broken it up and placed it into her bowl along with her food and she is eating it. I know it is recommended that she have the medication prior to a meal, but so far that has not worked. I will keep trying. I like my new connection with your company and look forward to being a long term customer.”
“all of the extra packaging is really not necessary. It's a waste when it goes straight I to the trash.
I wanted to order a larger quantity but the vet sent the prescription for 30 days worth. The vet said next time they could approve 6 months worth. It's a communication issue and an unfortunate result of having 3 parties involved. It's cheaper the more you buy so I was trying to save money in the long run but that didn't work out.”
“Very happy with the ordering process and prescription itself, however order arrived in unnecessarily large box with a ridiculous amount of packaging and propaganda. It was cute, but very wasteful.”
“Order for prescription meds took 2 weeks to fill and were “in process” for a week before an update was received. The same meds from Chewy were here in 3 days. Hopefully this was not a reflection of the usual service at Koala!”
“Honestly, I was just suprised by how slow shipping was. It took over two weeks to receive after placing my order (and I got a shipping notification the next day, so I really don't understand what the delay was)”
