“My second refill was on time but my first order I received it almost a month later I ordered and I had to had my dog rechecked by his vet again. That was an inconvenience with my work schedule. Besides that I did not get the discount in my order for ordering with auto ordering.”
“I ordered my pet meds from Koala because it was less expensive than most other places. However, there was a long delay in receiving the meds after placing the order. I placed the order on 1/10 and did not receive the order until 1/27. On a phone conversation on the 10th, staff preferred reaching out to my veterinarian's office even after I told them that I already had a prescription to mail to Koala. Someone from Koala was suppose to notify me right away, if the vet's office wasn't able to give authorization. I didn't receive an email until 1/19. So, there was a delay in giving the meds to my dogs.”
“To be honest I was happy with the discount but not how long it took for me to get the product I ordered. I ordered it on December 26th and on January 9th I contacted you because I hadn't heard anything back. I got a response back on January 10th that you had contacted my vet several times with no response. Why didn't you contact me and let me know that? As soon as you told me that I immediately contacted my vet and they found your requests and approved it. January 13th you sent it out and we received it on the 19th. My point is that my dog went almost 1 month without her allergy medicine because no one communicated with me, and now she is suffering from it. I understand it was the holidays but if I hadn't contacted you what would have happened?”
“I placed my order December 30th, didn’t receive it until January 20th. Slow turnaround time. Ordered early to ensure I wouldn’t run out of my pets medication. Had to call to see what the hold up was, that’s when my order was expedited and shipped.”
“I really like the concept of having pill packs for my dogs medication so that I can easily prepare them for their meals and have handy for when I have my dog sitter taking care of them. Unfortunately I didn't receive them and my pills came in bottles instead. I did reach out to customer service and they said you had to request the pill packets. I checked my order and saw that I did request them, so I'm not sure where the disconnect was on their end. Other than that, the delivery was quick and with the first-time user code it was a great value. The bottles are labeled nicely in print that is easy to read and wasn't super tiny like most pharmacy labels.”
“Easy to start an online order but communication could have been better; I got a message to let my vet know I'd placed an order with Koala, and I did call, and then....nothing for maybe a week. When I contacted them to check on the order status, I was informed everything was good to go, and it was mailed out the next day. I assume they are still just working out the kinks and I will definitely use them again and hope they improve their communication with online customers.”
“Nice to get my pet medicine at an affordable price, but the service was exceptionally slow. It took 3 weeks to get apoquel that my dog needed sooner. Ended up having to use benadryl until I got my order.”
“The process took longer to obtain a medicine that does not require a prescription in the first place and I could have obtained it from another company much sooner.”
“I was enjoying it until this month. I was sent a email stating that his needs were out of stock and world I accept a substitute. I said yes but they never sent it, so he ran out of his meds. For a service that is monthly, I rely on timely shipments to keep my cat up to date on his meds.”
“We are very happy with the product but the wait was quite long. I understand there was some kind of misunderstanding about the order. “I was pleased with very thing, especially the promotional price, but the time it took to receive the product was too long but I realize that that was probably to do with either FedEx or UPS and not Koala, otherwise much better service than other online pet pharmacies.”
