“keeps failing to come on, i haven't use the system in months. its very complicated to use and i dont like it at all.”

Hi, thanks for your review. We like users to retain some control over where emails are filed, to avoid difficulty finding information later on. However, the more Mail Manager learns your filing behaviours, the more accurate your filing suggestions will be. Many Thanks, Alex

“I find Mail Manager useful but with some bugs still to be ironed out. It is helpful for finding emails but would like a drag and drop option to copy an historic email into a new email. Bug: Mail manager goes off line if outlook isn't closed overnight.”

Hi, thanks for leaving us a review, we appreciate your feedback. There's is an option to right click emails in the Mail Manager Search window and copy them to emails or send a link to that email, if that helps. I'll email over a screenshot of what this looks like. What you may be experiencing with the bug you mentioned, is that your licence will eventually be released after an extended period of time without reopening Outlook, to prevent licences being trapped on machines that aren't in use. “It is probably the best system on the market, I have used several over the years. The software only tries to do one thing, file and archive emails and it does just that. And it dose that by doing something the others don’t. it redefines the SEND button so you have to opt out of filing, not opt in as the other systems I have used.”

“When it's fully functional, the software is great and works very well. However, it's the single piece of software that causes the most IT problems for me. I suspect this is due to it being an add-in within MS Outlook - with frequent updates to Outlook, problems are sometimes encountered with Mail Manager, which stops it from filing/opening correctly etc. Also, the add-in often gets turned off as it's classed as a slow/unresponsive add-in.”

It may interest you that in Version 10, our latest version, we've built in an auto-upgrade feature to avoid the upgrading issues you mentioned above. “We love Mailmanger , it is the one software solution that consistently gets us through our QA audit for ISO9000. Its easy to use, particularly for for new staff and the search function means we are on top of an issue , before its an issue.”

“An email filing system that had the potential to be something quite special. But the lack of support for users and the unwillingness to fix simple bugs has resulted in us already looking for a replacement after only 18 months of using it.”

“Love it. I have been using MM for around 15 years. It has improved during that time, but it has always done what it say's on tin. Easy to configure and use. Great product.”
