I could not see the full cover on taking out the policy so when I actually had the access and saw how poor cover was I arranged alternative cover and cancelled. They have hounded me relentlessly even though I was within 14 days they still chase me for £75 “ cancellation fee” after AGREEING to waive it !!! Beyond rubbish. DO NOT TOUCH!

I sold my car and tried to transfer my policy over to my new car. The cost of transferring the policy was three times as much as the original policy, owing to administration charges. It was actually cheaper to cancel my existing policy and take out a totally new policy with a different insurance company. I was only offered a refund of £12, despite having paid £175 and only using it for 3 months. I decided it was better to cut my losses and cancel my policy with this company. I will never take out insurance with them again and I would never recommend them to anyone.

AWFUL - from start to finish! I have reported them to Trading Standards who are looking into wether this is a scam as they messed up all over the place. And clearly they pay for people to review highly (4.9 out of 5?!!!) to further deceive. Quick to take your money and say they are taking more. But you have to wait to find out your policy number, or indeed if you are covered. Never have I had an experience like this. Got name wrong (so am I insured) Delayed in confirmation/policy number (so am I ensured) You can not get hold of anyone on the phone or email. The chat is pointless, you may as well ask you teenager how their day was! They ask for proof of NCD. They state via letter (they are Doncaster, not 1950!) they can not read it? They then bombard with letters stating as no proof of NCD they are going to take another £200! And because you can not get hold of anyone, you are forced to cancel to which you get charged £100 (even within the 14 day cooling off period) To which the person on the chat (possibly a teen) States their policy, T&C's and fees are on their web site (offering no help) and to only find, the fees are not. And neither is a copy of their policy and T&C's! If this is what you get within 14 working days (stress/worry/agro/extra costs) then good luck if you ever did have to make a claim, you may as well not have bothered with insurance. Awful. Never experienced this in the 39 years (and I do have proof of NCB for all that time) I could go on but I want to warn you to use another insurance company because you will pay more using these, so save yourself the time

This company is one of the worse if you… This company is one of the worse if you are looking to pay your bill through the online portal and I was unable to get the company to work with me in my unusual payments as they would always be late payments and I would struggle to get in contact or be able to pay tye late fee they are just no good for customer service not sure on compatible prices for anyone else but for me it was the lack of customers service at all times they literally just canceled my policy because there was no way on the portal and I just don't have the patience to talk to there call center

I recently moved house from 6 bed to a 3 bed in a more affluent area. I had to pay £39 admin fee, as their portal wouldn’t allow me to change it. Then on a live chat, the policy worked out to be exactly the same price?? I thought I was being robbed of a cheaper policy, all the live chat person was worried about was confirming the administration payment.

very poor experience, diffucult to get in touch with and hefty cancellation fees. Portal does not work with broken links and no policy documents sent.

This is the same company as One Call and the MSE reviews are terrible. The main problem is that they usually manage to come out cheaper on comparison site but then charge extra to tailor the policy. Mine excluded commuting (that's a first for me) and the business miles were on the wrong driver (my mistake not theirs). Charged £50 to amend. Have also had problems with the auto renew - very difficult to cancel and very difficult to get a refund if you have gone elsewhere. Best avoid - I will do in the future

I have never made any claims in the 15 years we have had a campervan. I renewed in good time and didn't have the no claims certificate in front of me when I took out a new policy so ticked the box to say I had 10 years no claims (the maximum). When the certificate came through it was for 8 years because I hadn't realised that one time I renewed with our old company we took a cheaper policy which didn't carry forward our earned no claims which meant our no claims started again from zero. Our old company wrote a letter to say we had insured with them for 10 years without making a claim but One Click would not accept this. Because of the missing two years no claims they said they would charge us £90 (including a £39 fee to change the policy). The annual policy cost £206 so this was almost 50% of the whole policy cost over two years no claims - even though any search would show we have never made a claim. One Click reduced the charge to £70 when I argued but I still feel this is an outrageous amount. I accept paying some amount because I hadn't realised that my no claims had reset because of taking out a cheaper policy, but charging 33% of the whole annual insurance cost is disgraceful.

The problem has been resolved but it took a bad review and a phone call from them. As a goodwill gesture they have refunded the £49. I wanted to cancel within my 14 day cooling off period the policy is not active yet (would not have been till mid April) and they are charging me £49 to cancel, plus no person to talk to, chat service closed on weekends, really?? it would be very tough to contact them should you to... STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! plus agent would not disclose the CEO's name.

I purchased the policy. Then a week later received a letter stating that they are taking another 155.10 for misrepresentation information on a claim they said I had made a year ago. I never made a claim back then but only phoned for advice about a claim which wasn't granted. So to me that isn't making a claim. But they said I was still liable to make the extra payment. I cancelled the policy so they charged me 49.99 for the privilege. Its a con. They should state the difference between claiming and enquiring about a claim.

The agent was efficient and I’m sure very lovely. I am not happy about the extra fees I had to pay to cancel my insurance.

The worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. Avoid like the plague. Informed me of insurance cancellation due to non payment. Yet they had taken payment from my account. There is no phone contacts, live chat doesn't work and portal they insist you use says my account doesn't exist. They have sent me a bill for the insurance that they cancelled, that I couldn't deal with. Never use them again.

Got car insurance with one click, they then charged me £39.00 for an amendment on my policy. I decided to cancel my policy which is hard to do as they make it almost impossible, no email or phone number. They charged me £49.99 cancellation fee, £54.00 broker fees, £63.99 for motor protection and breakdown cover (even though this was going to be cancelled), and £47.03 for the 17 days I was insured. That came to a total of £215.01 for 17 days worth of insurance, my premium for the whole year was only £220.08. Be very careful they hide all their terms and conditions.

Absolutely appalling company, complete rip off, if you want any advice DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! I didn’t think it could get any worse after trying all day to contact their sister company One Call insurance who fobbed me off at least 6 times, they pretend they have nothing to do with them yet they are the agents on the Ageas policy certificate and they are the ones who give the phone numbers out to contact i to make a claim. ONE CLICK took my money £530 2 weeks before my policy started then sent me the policy details with many errors on it, ( purchase price of my car £1400, value of my car £1400, mileage 1 mile etc, My car cost me £23,000 4 years ago and is valued at £15,500 now. They have changed the figures I put in when I got a quote. (the day before the policy started it would not let me log on or no one would help me, then today my policy started I managed to get live chat, they told me I had to pay another £128 or I would not be insured for anything above £1,400! I couldn’t cancel as I would be left without insurance and every company’s price would be extortionate now that I need it today. I would just like to add, myself and my wife are in our 60,s, never had a claim and not one single point on our licences in the last 35yrs and fully protected no claims. Last year we paid £240 for the same car, I am absolutely appalled at how we have been treated, it’s criminal and I can not prove they are lying. This company does not speak to anyone or give phone numbers you can only do a so called live chat. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND TAKE OUT YOUR INSURANCE WITH A BONAFIDE WELL KNOWN COMPANY, THIS OUTFIT WILL STITCH YOU UP LIKE THEY HAVE DONE WITH US.

On 6th October you requested I upload proof that I had 4 years NCD with my previous insurer. This I did by uploading my TESCO letter that clearly shows 4 years. I have now received a letter from yourself saying ' this information is in correct '. and you were charging an additional fee and premium. On contacting you today I was advised that in fact the follow up letter had been sent before you received my proof. I was unhappy with the tone of the letter and the fact I uploaded the proof on receipt of your request. I feel you follow up letter 'was just sent' without proper process.

It's been a week and I've still not received Policy documents despite paying and of course live chat is only available Monday to Friday 9-5 and they won't speak to anyone on the phone as they are only claim handlers
