“I have really appreciated the functionality of Pinwheel. My reason for not giving 5 stars is because the app often runs fairly slowly and I have had trouble with it updating my kids’ locations for several hours. I had one teen travel out of state and it stopped updating his location entirely. With these fixes, Pinwheel would be ideal.”

“Pinwheel's Customer service team is among the worst. I have had to deal with them on numerous occasions to secure a replacement phone. At each interface, they would list a set of instructions or requirements. In most cases, an different representative would take over the case and then require a different set of instructions. There was usually 3-4 rounds of this. When I pointed this out to the reps, there was zero acknowledgement that the previous rep offered non-comprehensive or conflicting data. Zero acknowledgement of the time it took to complete the task that simply didn't move the ball forward. We have two of these phones and have sent countless parents to secure phones for their children. My apologies to those of you whom I recommended this service. I am hoping there is viable alternative very soon.”

“We started using Pinwheel in the States. When we moved to France, the country was not sure if their operating system would work overseas. We are glad to report that it does indeed work just fine. We are glad that we have this system to protect our daughters.”

“Having tried about 10 other programs (we have 6 kids) it was amazing to find Pinwheel. This phone finally gives the right amount of oversight and flexibility. Easy to use, flexible in adding new apps, but excellent in that their app library tells you when their are concerns, I am absolutely sold on PinWheel. And, as an added bonus, their customers service is top notch (real people real fast). If you want to help your kids avoid the traps of the phone age, Pinwheel is for you.”

“This is an excellent service. What might not be so apparent to prospective users, however, is just how good their customer support is. It's impressive, and frankly one of the best parts of its value. It's hard or impossible to find such good customer support for any product in today's world.”
