“Pinwheel is an incredibly secure, customizable phone solution for families. I wanted to teach my kids to use phones only for essentials. I also wanted to be sure other kids didn't use my kids' phones - I teach high school, and I've seen teens bully and manipulate peers in order to gain access to their phones. Pinwheel accomplished all of this. It gave my kids exactly the tools I wanted them to have, and it has proven unhackable by teen and preteen peers. I have to add that Pinwheel customer service is extraordinary. My daughter cracked her phone screen, and customer service devoted hours to helping me recover her special photos. Pinwheel also helped me choose the right phones, get them hooked up, and order the most economical bundles for my purposes. I can't recommend them highly enough. I wouldn't hesitate to give any child a Pinwheel, if they need any phone capabilities whatsoever. Pinwheel can do everything.”

“We have used Pinwheel for 2 1/2 years and it's been a great first phone. I recommend it to anyone I talk to who is considering a phone for their kids. I appreciate that I can see and control everything from my phone or laptop, although I've given my daughter more freedom recently to be able to add her own contacts without needing my permission. Their app library has really expanded over tha last couple of years. Customer service is top notch, and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for help - and they make it easy to reach a real human! I can't recommend this phone highly enough.”

“The Pinwheel phone has been perfect for our family’s needs! I like that it allows us to create healthy boundaries and can grow and adapt as my son grows. Not only is the phone wonderful, but so is the customer service. After my son cracked his screen, the live chat connected us to helpful representatives who guided us through the next steps. I recommend Pinwheel to anyone wanting to get their kid a phone.”

“I love Pinwheel, it really gives parents total control and also has SO MANY apps that I want my kids to have. It is a little clunky somtimes though. The chores ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO BE disconnected form the modes. It's ridiculous that that hasn't happeend yet. ALL parents want chores disconnected from modes. And the phones themselves often don't download correctly, etc. HOWEVER, tech support/custimer service is awesome, and they have always fixed out issues when they arise. We really do love Pinwheel and I tell everyone I know about it.”

“We've been customers for over 3 years for 2 kids and I always recommend this as an option to parents navigating getting kids their first phones, especially when they're nervous. I'm never nervous! Pinwheel phones are what my kids know, and yes, sometimes they gripe about not having Iphones like friends, but ultimately this phone is better than none to stay in touch with others. The world is a scary place and their young brains need to stay away from social media and open internet use as long as possible! Rizza is always friendly and helpful in chat when I need her also.”

“After researching several different options for the safest first cell phone for our daughter, we landed on Pinwheel. We love that there is no browser or the ability to load social media apps. It was also nice that only texts and phone calls from approved contacts were able to get through to her. I highly reccommend Pinwheel!”

“Stupidest phone ever. This phone is the worst thing ever. I am a kid, and I am of the age where I should have a REAL phone, not this fake excuse for one. The “safety VPN” drains the phones battery at a rate faster than the Niagara Falls. I can’t even use it for 15 minutes without getting a low power notification. It’s not like I’d want to anyways, because the amount of apps is as small as the screen. I have about 7 apps and all of them are odd. I am 90% sure that the inventor of this dumb thing had the intent of making millions of kids miserable. Congrats! You did it. 10/10 don’t recommend. Only reason I gave it a 1 is that I wasn’t able to go into the negatives. Please don’t support this invention.”
