Moin Anonymous, thank you for you message :) I completely understand you, because we had to get used to the audible sound as well. It is not uncommon for your watch to make sounds, and in some mechanical movements, these sounds are actually necessary. The reason for this is the presence of clearance spaces between the individual components. These small spaces are necessary for the parts to move freely and regularly. Due to these clearance spaces, the rotor can be distinctly heard during certain movements. Perhaps you have gotten used to it ab bit and are enjoying your watch - that would make us happy :)) Best regards from Hamburg!

“Great looking watch that is easily readable.Love it.Thank you for the good service and prompt delivery.I just wish the strap size had been given in the specs as it is only just long enough on the last hole and there doesn't seem to be an altenative.Hence only 4 stars.”

Unfortunately, currently only on the product page of the strap itself. We will adjust this so that you can find it more quickly. You might be pleased to know that we actually offer the Modena strap in a longer version (length of 92 + 124 mm instead of 82 + 119 mm) - maybe you'll like that! “I have been using my Naos Automatic for a week now, the movement is averaging +/- 3.5 second per day which is really great! The watch built and leather strap really work together to create a great looking watch, the colors and finishes just work!”

“Updated review --- (After a bit too long waiting when I got the problem) I got an excellent after-sale service from Sternglas. My (non working out of the box) watch was replaced with a new one, I had a voucher to send the old one back and got the new one in a few days. The watch is very nice, is the same as the description on the web site and (now) works like a charm. Thank you for this happy ending. --- I have bought a nice refurb watch from Sternglas. But ... I have received a non functioning quartz watch. The date is stuck 3 weeks ago, meaning the watch has not been checked before being sent. Is it the battery ? I don't know, trying to change the battery might end up half as expensive as the rebate I had buying a refurb. Additionnally, the watch I received is not the same as the one advertised on the web site; details are differ : no backplate engraving for instance. So far experience is poor, waiting wor Sternglas reply since reception. I am considering sending it back, but I regret that the open box effect is ruined by this poor process.”

“Beautiful watches! Got the Naos Automatik edition bronze. Just wish the dial was 40-42mm instead of 38mm. Still one of the most beautiful watches.”

“I do like the company especially the style of their watches. I do wish there were more options for women that also have the date since there is only one style. It would also be nice to have the women’s bands individually available for purchase. There are a couple available but not all of them. And they make a squeaky sound because the bands are interchangeable. Still great quality watches.”

“Good afternoon. After using the watch for a few days, I will tell you that everything is fine. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the strap. With the first use it already started to mark. I don't think it will last long. The truth is a shame and somewhat disappointed.”

Moin from Hamburg, thank you for your feedback! I assume you're referring to the vintage strap. Don't worry! Scratches can appear quickly on it at first - this is because the vintage leather matures through external influences, resulting in a unique vintage look while also making it durable and long-lasting. :) If you don't like the look, we also have many leather straps with a smooth surface. :-)
