FRAUD ALERT!!!….DO NOT USE THIS APP!!! They will steal your money… once you try to book a room at a discount price and after you enter your card information they will charge your credit card…. And then you’ll receive a message stating the room rate is sold out. Good luck with contacting anyone with the company because all you can get is reboot responses.

Hi Ross, We’re sorry that you have that perception of our service as we can assure you that we are a legitimate company. We've been featured in the New York Times, SmarterTravel, Conde Nast Traveler and dozens of other press outlets. In cases where the booking doesn't go through, no charges are made, as this is rather an authorization hold or pre-authorization, and it shows in your bank as pending. This service is offered by your card provider whereby the provider puts a hold on the amount approved by the cardholder, reducing the balance of available funds until the merchant settles the transaction. Because your desired purchase was sold out, Snaptravel has not charged you and so your card processor will release the hold placed. The estimated time for this release varies if you used a debit or credit card, and depending on the issuing bank's policy. We do have a 24/7 Support Centre with live agents. Worst company to do business with. They never booked my hotel room and charged me over $700 which I have been trying to get back for over a year.

Unlike most sites, they do not allow any modifications to your reservation. They allow you to cancel your reservation, but they will not refund your $!!

I just booked a ticket for my cousin but while entering billing details browser auto populated the details and booking was confirmed on my name by mistake. Though Hotel management agreed for update and asked Snaptravel to update and send it again, Snaptravel management was not cooperative and didn't even respond for this. Worst experience with Snaptravel and they charge $30 for every update they make.

the reason why snap travel is cheap. bc they did not include hotel fee. you will be charged hotel fee separately. Be careful!

The requirement to put down a security deposit is standard for hotels. It is not a charge but rather just a temporary hold on your credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. The hold is released if no incidental purchases (room service, mini bar, Wi-Fi, etc.) or damages occurred. Our hotel rooms are sourced from different partners to get you the best rates, and what makes us special is our access to exclusive deals which are only available through direct messaging. I wouldn't trust the reviews on SnapTravel. I booked through here because it was the best deal that I could find for my trip and it was too good to be true. I booked 2 months before my trip and called the hotel for something unrelated to the reservation, but while calling, I inquired about the reservation just to make sure. To my surprise, they couldn't find the reservation (now two days away). I was transferred to the hotel manager who "found it" but the reservation was incorrect and I was told it was submitted wrong by the booking company but they could fix it. In the middle of the conversation, I was placed on hold and accidentally hung up on. The manager apologized and said I should call the booking company because the reservation wasn't working and they were at full capacity. After calling SnapTravel about the ordeal, they adamantly blamed the hotel and did not offer any actual help. I was then left to sort it out myself with the hotel, which had to actually rebook me and honored the rate I was given. The hotel was a nightmare in itself but SnapTravel made it worse. I then checked out of the hotel when leaving and was given a $140 bill for amenities and services (NOT A DEPOST as taken at every hotel on check in- an actual CHARGE for services that we didn't even use like the gym, pool, rooftop bar access) that they stated, Snap Travel should have explained when booking and that I would have to get it reimbursed from them. - SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE -- use Priceline or Expedia or something else. In the end, it didn't save us money.

Snap travel does not stand behind their product and will offer no help if you are unsatisfied. We booked through them, arrived at our hotel and were extremely dissatisfied. The hotel was dingy, dirty and not acceptable to stay in. I called snaptravel and the customer service rep just kept repeating that the reservation was not refundable, she could let me speak to a manager but they would tell me the same thing. When I said I wanted to speak to someone anyways she said they could call me back but it would be a minimum of 4 hour wait. They do not stand behind their product and offer no help for resolution. I Will never use this again and strongly recommend others not to as well.

Booked a “classic room” which according to their site has “a double, queen or king bed”. Arrived to find the boolinng was for a single room, with a single bed. Complained and was told it was too late to refund. PayPal won’t help unless you run the risk of launching a complaint and not staying in the room. Don’t waste your time unless you want a stressful holiday. Total scam.

Booked a room at Econo Lodge/MA through Snaptravel for 392.00. I then needed to reschedule/reconfigure the booking dates from 7/11-7/15 (old) to 7/17-7/21 (new). In order to process this new booking, I needed to convert the specific amount required for the new booking (=329.00) to "credits" so that I could immediately configure this new booking based on my modified schedule. Having rebooked for the new time frame, there was a resulting credit of 63.00 after the new booking was complete. I then called Snaptravel to have that 63.00 dollars in credit refunded back to my card. They refused to do this. The system/program which prompted me to convert to credits so as to then immediately be able to rebook my motel reservation for the new dates is flawed. The fact that Snaptravel refused to refund me the accrued 63.00 credit is totally unacceptable.

Absolutely terrible! I booked accommodation for my partner for when he flew into Brisbane Australia for work. I called the hotel while my partner was on the plane to let them know he would need late check in as his flight was delayed. THE HOTEL HAD NO RECORD OF OUR BOOKING! I then spent 5 hours calling snaptravel customer service and then the hotel trying to work it out. Snaptravel kept ensuring me that I 100% have a booking at the hotel but the hotel was completely booked out. They also kept ensuring me that they DEFINITELY HAVE CALLED THE HOTEL AND SPOKE TO RECEPTION AND CONFIRMED THE BOOKING when the hotel had never spoke to them. After I continued to call snaptravel to try and work it out they started getting rude because according to them “I was calling them to much and needed to wait for them to call me” even though my partner was stranded at the airport at 10pm with no where to go. I then waited hours and they never even bothered to call me with an update. The receptionist at the hotel we were meant to be booked into said they have had this problem multiple times with snaptravel in the past few weeks. They also said snaptravel doesn’t even have a login to their system so there is NO POSSIBLE WAY FOR THEM TO BOOK THE ROOMS IN THE HOTEL!! After I continued to call them to work it out they stated that apparently they had a mapping error and the hotel my partner was booked into was in SPAIN. NOT AUSTRALIA. They then couldn’t understand why I didn’t want to keep my reservation at that hotel, WHICH WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD! My partner had to SLEEP ON THE FLOOR IN THE AIRPORT because there was no other hotels available. I then asked for a refund as they were not helping fix the problem at all. I was told that they couldn’t help me with that and I would have to call someone else but wouldn’t give me any details on who I could contact to help. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY AND ITS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY TAKEN AND HAVE NO WHERE TO STAY!

Tried to book a room for a spur of the moment trip, tried a few places 4 in total , all where booked. Went to Priceline and found a room first try. But my card was declined. My card had four temporary authorizations for every room I tried to book on snap travel. Thy all had 0 on the next line I better not get charged or there will be hell to pay. I was going to use that card for the weekend until payday. Now I’m stuck at home.

I booked a hotel in Dubai and fully paid , when i reached hotel they didn’t accept my reservation , it is fake reservation , snap travel staff called me and thwy told me that hotel refuse you because of your nationality , and hotel manager said thats not true, and only apologize , what i will do with your apologize in that time !! I will never ever book through you and i will never advise any one to book from you

My experience with SnapTravel was terrible! It is a scam. Several hours after booking a hotel reservation with SnapTravel, my plans changed and I called to cancel the reservation. I was told I that they couldn't find my reservation and that I had never been charged, so not to worry. But the charge was on my credit card. So I called back several times and got the same response. Then I called the hotel directly and canceled the reservation, but was told that since I paid through SnapTravel, SnapTravel would have to issue the refund. When I called SnapTravel back, they told me that since I canceled through the hotel, they would not give me a refund, even though they had been unable to to cancel through SnapTravel. Next, when I tried SnapTravel's email support, I was told that it was now too late to get a refund. But I had called them to cancel within hours of making the reservation, and they told me that I didn't have a reservation to cancel. When I inquired again by email, they said they were looking into it, but didn't get back to me, and didn't respond to further email inquiries. I would recommend that anybody looking to book a hotel room does it through another site and not SnapTravel. You're taking you're chances with SnapTravel. At least don't expect to be able to cancel, and don't expect any customer support.

Snaptravel are refusing to amend our New York hotel booking and refusing to honour the 100% Money Back Guarantee. The website and customer service are based on LIES. We booked a hotel room in good faith based on the Snaptravel description but the hotel booking is incorrect. We chose a room with the promise of a double, queen or king bed and Snaptravel have booked a room with a bunk bed! This is totally FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION by Snaptravel and we are very disappointed to have been caught out by their scam. We have liaised with Snaptravel and with the hotel but "the booking cannot be amended". We are now forced to report the FRAUD to our card company to action a chargeback in order to have our payment returned to us.

Scam! Stay away. You book a flight and you wait and wait. They take the money on your credit card but you don’t get the tickets. When I called them after more than 30 hours of waiting, they told me that the tickets are no longer available. It happened to me twice in a row on the same week with this company. I lost other deals while I was trying to sort this out and still have all those charges on my credit card. I usually don’t write reviews but I want to make sure others won’t make the same mistakes I made twice. 100% unsatisfied. They claims to have better price but they don’t deliver.

Snap Travel is awful!! We booked with them for an upcoming concert, a few days before concert the concert was rescheduled, I called Snap Travel to cancel and they wouldn't cancel, I explained the situation to the rep representative And she kept Telling me the same thing over and over, I asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me they couldn't transfer calls, I told her that was bull and to transfer me or give me the number for corporate she then said a supervisor would call, a little while later a supervisor called I explained what happened and she told me I had to call the hotel and have them give me a letter stating they cancelled the reservation; well apparently Snap Travel doesn't know what they are talking about and srill haven't done anything. They are absolutely terrible and I will not be using them ever again!

Lying crooks! Stole my money then lied, lied and then lied some more. Promised a full refund which never materialized. Then claimed no knowledge of cancellation, no notes from the agent assigned to and that agent didn't work there. Will reach all my business and social media network sites and steer them clear of these unethical thieves.
