“Some meat good but last order was all open and all over the box and smelt and things where missing as well. Customer service is disgusting been a week with no reply at all. Be carfule using this butcher as not value foe money £80 down the drain and as a disabled person bad for me no meals for me for a wyle Disgusting after service”

“I would live to give you 5 stars, as yoyr meat is usually fantastic. However, on this occassion, chicken in previous order was off when opened. This parcel was not delivered at all by DPD, and no way to speak to anyone directly. Sorry Fat Butcher, not good enough”

“Short dates on all meat delivered. We tried to cook days before use by date but when opening the pack it had an absolutely sickening smell, ribeye steaks were slimy and sticky and had to be thrown out. I emailed about this and was ignored by their customer service team”

“Order delivered to wrong address. And left outside in the sun. Box was warm upon opening and there were steaks missing. Fat butcher had no issues in sending out the steaks which were of good quality. However I had to throw away the meat contained in my original delivery as when I opened the sealed meat it had a horrible sour smell to it. And there was no way the family were eating that. However fat butcher fail to respond about the issue even after multiple emails and filled forms to customer care. Been over a week now. So I would assume that's enough time for a business to look at with a 24 to 48 hour apparent response time. Not happy”

“I was very angry when I saw my old address for shipping. I emailed you only to be told you can't change it, I then phoned dpd to ask them to help, but again no joy, I missed out on my meat. So it either got wasted or someone else enjoyed the tomahawk steak”

“I never recieved my order , DPD left on the doorstep and I guess someone helped themselves , tryed to claim my money back buck got nothing from DPD or yourselves”

“First time of trying ans won't be returning sadly. The ribeye looked like it was cut with a spoon, very tough to eat and didn't smell the best. The sirloin was slightly better but nowhere near good enough for me to try again. Maybe I just got unlucky.”

“Order was supposed to arrive 21st March. Informed by courier that items perishable and to contact sender. As there is no phone number and only a chat bot it took over 24hours to get a response, was told items would be sent out 24th to arrive 25th. No sign of items on 25th, contacted customer service and they have no idea why the items were marked as a dispatch date that was passed. As it stands I am still awaiting confirmation if my items will be sent out, now one week late. Unable to speak to an actual person over the phone as their phone number does not work. Will not be placing another order again with Fat Butcher, will stick with muscle foods.”

“Steaks we're absolutely atrocious, gave them to my dog. Chicken has use by date the day after delivery also. I complained,got a form to fill out and didn't even get a response..Won't be using again,poor quality meat”

“Last order was disappointing - missed an item out which I had to chase with them to receive and the chicken was so squashed was like road kill and the ribs were as tough as old boots - not their best”

“I had to put most chicken in the bin as it smells really bad after a couple of days even though it was in date and packaged well. The other chicken I did eat gave my family a bad stomach and diarrhea. The joints were fine. Overall would not use them as I have a weak immune system anyway can't afford to be not well. They did offer me credit but no point as I don't want to eat from them don't trust it.”
