“I had a problem with an order last week, and used the chat function to get some help. I was told that my query had been escalated and I would get a response within 24 hours. Today it is 8 days later, and despite trying the chat again, I have never received any single communication from TFB. So, I cannot review the products as I have never got that far. And as a first time customer, to receive this level of service perhaps suggests that it has been a blessing in disguise as I will never be buying from here, and will find another local alternative. Seems like a good way to go out of business.”

“I bought the XL Mystery hamper as it was half price. I was very disappointed with what arrived as it was mainly burgers and chicken wings and certainly not £170 worth of meat. This was a real shame because all of the offers looked very good. I did email to complain, but this email was ignored. Im unlikely to buy from them again.”

“Your meat seems to be very good but delivery was very poor. Thay collected from you on a Wednesday i didn't receive it till Friday . So it wasn't very cold The blood in the pork was a milky colour and the chicken breast didn't look very fresh.”

“After reading the reviews I decided to give this company a try... the offers looked great and werendeals to be had... maybe iam in the minority and one slipped past their quality control... what was the matter with my order the box was torn and wet upon opening said delivery full grown bluebotles/flies departed from the box... i quickly took the box outside... grabbed my fone took a few pictures most had flown away.. Then upon inspection the contents had very short use by dates some as low as 2 days... I did contact the company who said they would resend my order and apologised that was over a week ago I have tries contact them again but to no avail... so il will gladly take my business elsewhere”

“Not Happy, booked my order in chose the day and waited in for my delivery, checked my tracking with DDP and it just said order not being delivered due to it being perishable ? Tried to contact the fat butcher and the only contact was email, it took a number of emails as the response was very slow, the parcel had reached the DDP depot but that's where it stayed i am thinking it's been stolen ? The email reply just kept going no where to solve this and the the reply just stopped i asked for a refund but just had a new delivery arranged by the fat butcher and for a day the following week that I wouldn't be at home to receive the parcel, so the conclusion is the customer service is not fit for purpose and there courier DDP are unreliable and they don't take any notice of customer requests. I will not be using again !”

“had major issues with my last order didn’t receive what i ordered ! what i did receive was very poor quality we had to throw out the pork chops that were rancid! and the pork ribs that were inedible. i’ve sent emails and chatted on there App but as yet only offered credit note Very poor service”

“I recieved pork mince instead of beef, the joints of meat, steaks and chicken breast I purchased were tasteless and none of it was british meat which I wasn't aware of when I ordered ( my fault for not reading the website information properly). The sausages & bacon were okay. I unfortunately wouldn't repurchase from here again, the meat quality that I received was poor and not worth the money. The meat I usually buy from Aldi is cheaper, better taste and quality and British. .”

“I selected the delivery for Saturday because I work away from home the delivery came Thursday, had one reply on the email then been ignored since 80 pound I spent and nothing has been done about it. Poor customer service probably do this alot”

“Placed an order of Boneless Tomahawks,they delivered the smallest bone in tomahawks that I have ever seen!! Complained about it and they sent me another 2 tiny tomahawks with a small bone in! The reason that I placed the order was because of the Boneless Tomahawks!! When I complained again all they said was “I thought it would help”… and that is how they have left it!! Not happy at all!! How can they take an order and just fob you off with something that you didn’t order and just say “I thought it would help “ Disgusting service!!!!”

“Hi I am writing to you to inform you that I received my order no problem I placed all of the meat in my fridge which after a day started to smell a bit funny but nothing major I used the chicken legs and beef strips absolutely lovely I opened he mince which had a slight smell but ignored and wasn't to bad Same with the stakes but again enjoyed I have just opened the chicken to witch I was hit with the worst smell I have ever experienced in my life and both packs have tomorrow's date on them I would appreciate it if someone could get in touch with me about this matter please Thanks Neil boden”

“Terrible customer service. £90 of meat arrived late in luke warm box. All meat slimy and absolutely stunk. Only fit for the bin. Will avoid at all costs and advise pass on to all friends and family”

“My order went to a completely different address, and when emailed yourselves on the afternoon that it had gone missing, did not receive an answer until the next afternoon. If it wasnt for the honest person who actually received my order and then dropped it off at mine would be none the wiser. No sorry forthcoming, no as way of an apology please accept this off your next order. Very disapointed.”

“Meat is very poor, I've had issues the past few orders mainly gone off well within the specified use by date and the products are cheap cuts unfortunately either very fatty or not tender when cooked. Shame as the convenience of having it delivered is great but not when your throwing it it the bin as its foul. Again recently ordered the prime fillet as its advertised only to receive what I can describe as a 18" long 2inch thick piece of untrimmed meat which is only good enough for dicing up for a kebab.”
