I was looking for specifically SPENCO heal pads, but got diverted to this site. The ones I finally found aren't exactly what I was wanting, but I'll see once I get them. Whether walking or running, we hit heal first and it wears out our shoes quickly. The extra padding under the heel is not only good for the feet, but also for the knees as the extra padding takes stress off our knees.

at one time there were many style in size 5 but see that many brands carried begin at size 6.

I put the insoles in my shoes & could not walk normally. My feet hurt while the insoles were in my shoes. I had to remove the insoles to get some relief. I am very disappointed. Phil Burgess

the distinction between my options was not clear, even when I chose the arch support, size, activity. With flat feet, do I want high arch support or low?

If you have flat feet, you will typically want an insole that features a low arch support. Some people who have flat feet wish to raise the arch in their foot with their insole, and will choose an insole that has a medium to high arch. Each person's individual foot needs are different. It was sort of okay As it was hard to find The Right type (not neccesarily your Fault) . I may up the rating AFTER I get them and use them a bit. also somehow you had all my Ordering info whithout my giving it to you (who ever gave it to you did so whithout my permission ) while conveinant ;asthe son of a accountant , that's a no-no. Waited a little too long for chat response and like an hour got response and was told that my chat was shut down because I wasn't there, you did leave a recommendation and I purchased, small complaint however, hope my new insoles are comfy

Insoles came quickly. Nice product. However I would have appreciated some kind of messaging about how to fit them into my shoe. They were size "8 to 11" and clearly much longer than my size 8 foot. I have never worn a rubbery sort of insole before, and in trying to figure out how to use them I wound up cutting the top off of one to fit it into the shoe. This was a mistake. Eventually it appears that one is intended to push the insole in (much longer than one's shoe size as it may be) and that it will somehow morph into position. Again, I wish your packaging had explained this for persons such as myself who are new to using this kind of insole.

The insoles are trim-to-fit, and made to accommodate a women's size 8-11. You will trim the insoles down from the toes to fit them into your shoes. We recommend using the factory insole that comes in your shoe as a guide for trimming the Sof Sole Arch Performance Insoles to fit.
