My experience is that if the airline changes a flight to a time that is not convenient, the airline will only do the refund through trip.com, and then you’re dealing with a non-English speaking Filipino and your personal data is run through the Philippines. And worse, they don’t wanna communicate by email. They will only allow you to upload data and send it to them. It’s a very one-way customer relationship.

I am a platinum member of trip.com. unfortunately until I had problems with them I never realised that how commercial and greedy they are instead of giving genuine passengers services. My 75 years old father was off loaded due to their wrong information and wrongly sold tickets. He was stranded at the airport for 24 hours not a single unit of trip.com had helped us. Instead this multimillion worth company has been lieing and continuously giving false and confusing information. Be aware of this scam ! If someone is in trouble only they can realise how big scam they are

Using trip.com again to book a hotel in Malaysia. The progress was smooth, the UI was clear to look. Looking forward to my trip there!

They overcharge for activities by 30 percent for no reason , better book directly with merchant.

They sell you flights which after payments change to less wanted flights. They offer no service and only lame excuses pointing to other parties. Never use them, book straight with airlines perhaps a penny more expensive but you get what you want and pay for.

It was nice to discover that they offer delay insurance and flight change alerts; it gave me added peace of mind during the journey. I received a notification when my gate changed, which was quite useful.

I had no trouble checking in. The hotel always had my reservation ready when I made a reservation using Trip.com. The staff were helpful, and everything went smoothly.

The hotel ratings felt real, and the comments from other tourists were quite useful. I ended up scheduling a place that I would have missed otherwise, and it turned out excellent. When the reviews reflect the experience, it makes it much easy to make a decision.

I've been using Trip.com for years because it seems trustworthy and reliable, especially for large international vacations. With them, I've never been concerned about the security of my payment information.

I Was about to post a review on Yiwu ocean hotel which I booked through Trip.Com and to my horror, the system said that a review had been submitted. When I went to the review section, I saw a review posted under my account name and it had given it a perfect 10 score! and as I scroll down the reviews, there are many perfect 10 reviews and some of the info are not true. I had raised a complaint and still waiting for my review to be taken down.
