What a total joke of a company. Took a day off work. Item marked as delivered, but nothinhing has been delivered. They should be investigated.

Tuffnells managers are signing of deliveries so there depot can look better than it is. So it's not the drivers at fault but managers.

There is no tracking information available apart from 'out for delivery'. Every other carrier gives some idea of when delivery is going to happen. I received notification that my item was delivered at 11 today - but I've not had it. The driver showed that someone had written my first name on their pad to accept delivery. On their web site there are several contact numbers, one is invalid and others just ring and then hang up. I got through eventually and was told they could not contact the driver until he returns to base. I've no idea where my items are. It's 21m of skirting board so if it's been left in the rain it will warp and be useless. I've had many many deliveries and this has never happened before.

Item never delivered, avoid at all costs I ordered a treadmill via a third-party seller, which unfortunately uses this awful courier. My treadmill was never received, yet it was supposedly delivered. Expect, it wasn't. After the third-party seller investigated this further, after many days the response from Tuffnells' driver was that the treadmill was given to the customer, who buzzed him in. This is clearly a lie. Nobody rang the doorbell nor phoned me. No proof of delivery was provided either. I live in a large block of flats and I checked the CCTV footage from my concierge office of the time when the item was *supposedly* delivered and no van came at that time. I have spoken to the concierge who monitors which couriers come to our building and he did not know anything about it either. The driver is clearly lying and now I am left with no treadmill and loads of headaches from having to solve the issue with the seller. DO NOT use this company, if you can avoid them.

What a surprise to find all these bad reviews… not. Waited in all day with no ETA , missed out on a days work to call up to be told there is a road closure preventing delivery. What an absolute load of nonsense , no road closures anywhere near me . Noone even has the courtesy to call up and let you know they won’t make it. Worse still you call the delivery company and everything you tell them has to come from your supplier. Disgrace, I’ll be cancelling my order , I don’t support any company that continues to use such a poor delivery service.

This company have a driver that is a liar and a thief. Tracking is poor with little info on tracking with out for delivery and delivered and no proof of signature or photos of any item that this driver claims to have delivered. I would stay away from this courier company and avoid using their service. No customer service contact number and you can only send emails. What a joke. I feel suspicious of this driver that assigned to delivery my expected parcel. Please provide proof that the item was delivered

worst company ever, send two parcels(Large parcels) for the first item, and one of it was lost (I lost 400£), the second parcel was late very late and with no tracking updates and it arrived damaged, it was left outside ( I lost 200£), no refunds no updates no apologies. This is how they work. Worst experience ever!

This company are thieves they stole my parcel an iron that is worth £400 the driver must have signed for it and stolen it as I have A receipt to say that it’s been delivered but I did not sign for nothing and there’s no one else in the building so the only person that could be is the driver

What a bunch of cowboys. Delivered a 54Kg compressor by dropping it from the back of a transit van (single operative) and then putting on a sack barrow. Compressor suffered impact damage and was unsafe to use therefor had to be returned to manufacturer.

Do not use this company - very dodgy. I bought a bed frame from another company who use Tuffnells as their delivery courier. The first strange thing was that they emailed me in the morning saying they'll be delivering on the same day - usually delivery couriers will let you know in advance when they will deliver, not on the actual day. I couldnt take the time off work so I just assumed they'd phone me when they attempt to deliver and I'd arrange for them to leave somewhere with photo proof. Didn't hear anything from them throughout the day, no notification of an attempted or completed delivery - I got home and no package, no card. I then log on to the tracking only to see they updated the delivery status to 'Delivered' and signed for by someone called "ALAN3" along with a bogus signature that was essentially just a series of lines. The company I purchased the item from (Home Detail) then phoned them and was told the person who signed for the item was my neighbour from another flat - I checked with the flat they said and the neighbour knew nothing about it and hadn't signed for anything or let anyone in to deliver anything. I then checked the reviews for Tuffnells and saw a ton of people all saying they've experienced the same thing I have - seems they fake the deliveries and just steal the packages. Will be getting police involved - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

STOLE MY ITEMS Barely any form of contact, just told to contact the seller. Tracking is about as useful as a chocolate teapot- just generic stages, no actual tracking. Was told my goods would be delivered today, but time went on and on with no sign of the delivery. Eventually, around 6:30pm I got a text to say it's been delivered - both my other half and I were by the door, there was definitely no delivery. Checked the whole neighbourhood, nothing. They have stolen my delivery - trying to get in touch with the seller and Tuffnells themselves but the customer service all-round is terrible. Will likely have to take legal action as the goods in question are expensive dining set. Do not recommend, avoid like the plague.

The absolute worst delivery company i have ever dealt with. No communication, no one answers the phone and if they do they put you on hold then cut you off. No response to any emails sent to any of the email addresses. The list goes on!! It very disappointing service from a big company.

Received email to inform me of delivery today, tracking is useless, just saying out for delivery, da, phoned at 4.50 told will receive by 6, its now 7.13 Waited in for nothing obviously my time is not important to you.

My parcel should have been delivered on Tuesday on their Express 24 service. Now being told it’s likely to be Friday !! No apologies or reason given. I will NEVER use Tuffnells, and I will avoid purchases from any company who use them. They are undoubtedly the worst carrier in the U.K.

Absolute joke this courier firm. They were suppose to pick a package up from me. Said they would pick up between 11am & 5pm. 5.30pm still no sign of them. Avoid and use somebody else. I know I will not be using them again.

Had text to say parcel delivered, went to door and nothing there. No contact numbers available to call and find out where it is. Can't lose a parcel the size of a large desk surely!

Worst delivery company EVER!!! I stayed 2 days in waiting for a delivery but nothing turned up. Item NEVER ARRIVED and I was shocked to only to receive a message stating that a delivery has been made. What a joke!!! I'll be contacting RIP OFF BRITAIN given the amount of similar complaints on here! Customers and Businesses need to know how awful this company is so that it can be avoided completely!

Waited in for an 8 to 8 delivery which has not arrived. Seller has no information. Cannot track my order, does not know where it is and cannot communicate with Tuffnells. So it begs the question, why on earth do they bother with such an unprofessional company? Shocking service, or lack of.

They lost a four piece sofa set, how you can loose an item that large I don’t know! I contacted them directly and it took 5 days to get a response, their response was that they wouldn’t investigate or discuss with me as I was the receiver and not the sender. Tracking states that the item couldn’t be delivered for “other reasons” at 5pm (delivery was never attempted), then at 7am the following morning the barcode was scanned back in to the depot where it subsequently vanished into thin air. Read into that what you will, perhaps it fell off the back of a lorry (?)
