“Absolute disgusting customer service
Absolute disgusting customer service. They sent half my order, didn't give me any tracking, after 4 phone calls they eventually delivered the rest of my order 7 days later. And then the driver doesn't ring my buzzer and dumps a 4.5m carpet at the bottom of my stairs and leaves it there. I am 5 ft 3 and it's 25kg. It's now trapped on my stair also a fire risk and they didn't even bother to ring my door. I would have happily helped the guy get it up the 1 flight of stairs. But no instead he dumps it in my stair a buggers off with zero compassionate or customer service. The worst courier service I have ever used. Do not trust these people they have zero respect and zero morals”
“Would not consider using Tuffnells again.
Courier was rude and unpleasant.
He dumped my delivery at the front door, too heavy for me to move.
When requested to take the item to the back gate as per delivery instructions he said, "that's not my problem, that's the company'. When I explained that I couldn't lift the item he laughed and walked away.”
“An absolutely terrible company to deal with. Have been waiting for 3 big deliveries from different suppliers to arrive. Have now been told that they will not deliver because of restricted delivery hours due to pedestrianised area (pedetrianised for over 8 years!). There is a service road which allows loading and unloading all day - 15 metres from our premises. Nobody at Tuffnells will sort this problem out, we just go round in circles.”
“Driver threw my items out of the van, items left in the rain in the middle of the road as they were to heavy for him. Needed a two man team to be honest when I said the items are damaged and soaked he said “your not having them” and stormed off. He looked like he was on alcohol from the night before, I rang and complained to tuffnells, nothing ever came of it. Won’t use again! Got the whole thing on CCTV”

I chased them every day and every day they promised to collect them
Six days later they still did not turn up!
This happened to me with this company before
They are the worst carrier I have ever used and would suggest others look else where for a proper carrier and do NOT use TUFFNELLS”
“They refuse to speak to you as a recipient of "missing" mail. They insist it was delivered yet provide no proof, and refuse to give out names of any staff to direct a complaint to. Original complaint email just ignored. Obviously this is countrywide problem - large "metal"/car? deliveries regularly go missing. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. We've lost £100 and the seller just said, tough, they say it's delivered, as did Ebay.”
“Save yourself a whole heap of stress and anxiety and order from companies that use anyone but Tuffnells for their deliveries.. First time Tuffnells have been used to deliver a 2 metre long heavy package to me and they lost it with in 3 days. Now I'm stuffed for my job at the beginning of January, as everyone is closing for Xmas and the company I purchased from have already closed and won't be open again until 4th January, which is after my job will have finished, so will get no help from them. USELESS!!!!!!!! GGGGGRRRRRRR!!!!!!”
“They manage to lose my order twice. The first time, it was lost in the collection depot. The company I ordered from then had to produce replacement products. The second time it was lost on the delivery truck. The status changed to delivered, but nobody ever reached my place. I was home all day, and have a Ring doorbell and two CCTV cameras pointed at my front yard. I would have known if my item arrived.”
“I ordered a 3 meter angle iron from Metals4u and, unfortunately, this business uses Tuffnells as their courier. After collecting, Tuffnells promptly lost the item (or their driver might have stolen it). But nobody bothered to tell me there was a problem and Tuffnells promptly forgot about it.
Tuffnells customer services are terrible. You are directed to call the depot, but nobody ever picks up the phone. It took several emails and a phonecall to the supplier to find out that Tuffnells lost my order. Had I not started looking into this, I could have waited indefinitely.
They have an email address where you can send complaints. This is advertised on their website. But after sending a complaint, you receive an autoreply telling you this email is not monitored.”
“The well-known firm of Dumpit Anywhere and Scarper, trading as Tuffnells. Of five deliveries, two never arrived, two were dumped on the roadside a long way from the address and one was dumped outside the door in a very poor state. I now check which delivery service will be used and if it's Tuffnells, I buy elsewhere.”
“Probably the worst delivery company I’ve had the misfortune to have dealing with. Zero customer service, phones not answered or if they go dead. Online messages not answered ditto emails. Delivered 3 doors from a company to the wrong customers despite each door being clearly marked front and back in large writing as to correct recipient. I was one of those customers and my solid oak door is nowhere to be seen and I have someone else’s pine door. Incompetent sums it up. 100 years in the making they boast, that’s no excuse for poor and shoddy service.”

“Delivery stated delivered and signed for. Even though I was at work. Eventually admitted it had been an error and would be delivered today. Guess what? Still no parcel. All day I’ve waited for some chumps to drive a parcel to my door. Hardly needs a degree pal! But unfortunately, it does require half a brain cell which appears to be lacking with Tuffnells. I wonder if they have half a brain cell between their entire staff.....
on a serious note, if you use this company you’re an absolute warthog! I’ve only given Tuffnells one star because there isn’t an option for Zero stars! I hope the company goes bankrupt and the staff lose their jobs! It’ll be better for the world! My booking reference is TT100080C.”
“Not a good experience. Supplier tells you how the delivery works and Tufnell's advise differently ie 3 to 5 days once it has arrived at their final depot. What nonsense, blatent lie by Daniel telling us there is no telephone number for Belfast, when a quick google and phone call satisfies the query. Man in Belfast very helpful as was the lady on Monday. We use DPD for our business, none of these issues.”

Cannot contact as emails come back " we are not manning emails please contact sender ". checked tracking number today and it says Delivered. Was NOT delivered. Sender not replying to my phone query. A joke of a company. Use them is you have NO respect for yourself . Hitting bank tomorrow to claim credit card fraud from both sender and courier...”
