Avoid! Due to last minute cancellation by Madonna, under pressure, i bought a ticket from Viagogo. Never again. Firstly, at each stage of the buying process, I was only given a short amount of time to carry out the purchase. This happened at each stage of the buying process causing me great stress under the pressure to buy and not search for other options. The ticket was advertised for £245 but by the time I clicked ‘purchase’, I ended up paying £300. THis purchase was made on a Saturday, 1 week before the Madonna concert in London. On the Wednesday, I received an email advising my ticket Seoul’s be made available when it was released from seller. Thursday, nothing received. I was not worried as I had booked trains and hotels. Several calls made. But kept going round in circles. Each time I called the call handler, I had to explain the situation over and over. No one knew my case and appeared no one was dealing with it. Thursday evening, I had to prove that I had not received the ticket nor any email asking me to receive the ticket. No feedback received. Friday, more calls, same situation but now I was receiving conflicting information. I had previously been told that the ticket had been transferred to me, but subsequently told it had not. I was told that the emails had been sent to me asking me to accept the transfer, but later told they had not. Lies, lies and more lies were being told to me and I was on the verge of buying another ticket. I was assured that I would go to the concert but I was not convinced. I made enquiries with the police and my bank regarding concerns around fraud and was prepared to take this matter further. 250am on the morning of the concert, still no ticket. I made my way to London and whilst there I received an email congratulating me on attending the concert. Many emails followed congratulating me and advising me what to do. I then received an email from ‘a person’ (who appeared to be the seller). This email advised that the sale had been CANCELLED. I immediately called Viagogo again and was told this information was incorrect and under their guarantee, I would go to the show. I also sent an email to the alleged seller as their email address came up on the received email to me- no reply. THe email did not bounce back but still no reply. I then called my mobile network to establish if there were any network faults, I turned my phone off and on but was advised- no issues reported. Some hours later and approx 6 hours before the show, I received more emails advising my ticket was on the way. Later, i received the said email asking me to download the ticket. Finally, I got my ticket and went to the show. I did notice, however, that the ticket face value cost was £69- I paid £300. My theory is this. Firstly, I believe Viagogo had the ticket and retained it until last minute for whatever reason. I presume this as the volume of emails that came to me on the day of the concert were plentiful. Secondly, staff at Viagogo do not know your case, they appear not to look your case history and only two provided follow up calls- the rest said they would but failed to do so. The stress they caused, the calls I made, the cost of the ticket and the general incompetency of staff leave me to conclude that this company is not reputable and should be avoided. Whilst queuing at the concert, I spoke to other attendees who had similar experiences with Viagogo. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

DO NOT BUY from this company. Purchased tickets to Denver Nuggets in September 19. Flew my family to Denver to see game on Christmas Day. I had not received tickets by 12.22 so I started calling. Customer Service continued to tell me they were "escalating " my issue and I would have tickets before game on 12.25. I called at least 25 times over the next 48 hours, with same response. Finally 8 hours before event I started asking for refund so I could purchase tickets since we were already on our trip, no one would answer me. Finally at the time of the event , they agreed I would not receive tickets. CHRISTMAS NIGHTMARE!! I am waiting for my refund, I have no faith I will receive it. VIAGOGO IS HORRIBLE!!

Absolute con artists. Ripped off as many others have been, should have read the reviews before I parted with my money. Charged a rediculous amount of money for what I thought would be great tickets, only to be sat at the back not being able to see anything, and with a face value of £20 well OMG thanks viagocon theres a 50th gift that wont be forgotten in a hurry, for all the wrong reasons. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. I dont know how they get away with this :/

absolutely no problem with this operator. The prices were high but its what you get if you miss out, they arrived exactly on time without hassle and great correspondence. From what I read I seem to be the lucky one although complaints about price are redundant, you can see how much from the gecko..if I was to compliant it would be about service but I can only say it was excellent.

Utterly appalling service and a complete and utter rip off - this company charge more for their handing fees than the artist earn from their concert - how does that add up. Beware at your peril. 2 tickets for a face value of £45 each cost me £205 that I could ill afford.

Have used Viagogo a few times and never had a problem , always got in and bagged a few less than face value tickets along the way . My advice is don't rush your purchase The final price including any charges is always displayed on the final page before paying . The fees are less than Stuhub as well

I purchased tickets to Madonna's concert in Las Vegas (NOv'19) through Viagogo a few months before the show. As the concert date approached, Viagogo would not deliver the tickets. I had to email them 12 times (I'm not exaggerating) and called them as well. Their excuse was lame, stating that the ticket owner was failing to release the tickets and it wasn't their fault. Excuse me?! As a reseller Viagogo is supposed to deal with that, not me. It was very stressful as I did not get the tickets until 8 hours prior to the concert. And I didn't even get what I purchased; they sent me other tickets (different section, different seats) but did not adjust the price for the subpar tickets I received. I only got the tickets because I was relentless in contacting them (stressful and time consuming for me) and demanding that they release the tickets I had purchased. They certainly took my money from my credit card months ago but could not do their part of the deal well. They are scammers. Do NOT purchase anything from them.

Had no idea it was a resale site. No tickets arrived for Liam Gallagher. Then was told to download e-tickets which are in someone else’s name.

Viagogo sent me a fake ticket, I flew all the way to the Rugby World Cup in Tokyo to be denied entry. On my return I filed a request for a refund and they refused, it turns out they changed the ticket the day before the game while I was travelling with no data and had a printed ticket in hand. They say I did not download the ticket which I have printed in hand. They are criminals for this as they have stolen nearly 600gbp

Even one star is too much! Words fail me on what I think of this company! Booked tickets for me and my daughter to see Little Mix at Sheffield arena It was £60 per ticket and then when I had confirmation through they had slapped a £30 handling charge plus booking fee total cost £160. Alarm bells should have rung then with the handling fee but it was our dream to see our favourite band and had saved for months to see them. When the tickets were emailed through I down loaded them to find out they were in someone else’s names and the price on the ticket was £28! It was a kick in the teeth not our names so my daughter could not keep this as a keepsake and I had paid £100 more than the tickets were worth! It gets better though we still went and thought I would complain to vigago after but guess what on arrival at the arena we were refused entry as the tickets were fakes! I have now read all the horrific reviews on this company and I can’t believe they are still trading. My daughter was heartbroken and still can’t believe this has happened! I am speechless and not only the upset but the waste of journey and the humiliation of being turned away is absolutely unforgivable!

I purchased tickets from Viagogo for a Billie Eilish concert for Oct 08, 2019, on Oct 05, 2019. Did NOT received my tickets even though I got a e-mail and it said that my tickets were transferred from this JAKE, to accept or refuse the tickets. WHOEVER this JAKE is, I accepted the tickets from this JAKE, but my tickets were never transferred to my account where I could receive them, total rip-off!!! BEWARE OF THIS JAKE! Probably a made up name! I had to purchase some more tickets from somewhere else where we could go to the concert! Mind-you, the tickets were still not available on the day of the concert Oct 08!!! I have been on the phone with customer service so many times and get the same go-around about getting my refund for the tickets that I did not get! They got the required documents, showing the required evidence that I did not get the tickets and where it showed in the account at Ticketmaster, it showed there were no purchases made! Viagogo has the evidence, but everyone that I talk to, tells me the same thing, that it has been sent to another department and I would be receiving a phone call from them, NO RETURN CALL TO DATE!!!! I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE!!! DON'T BUY ANYTHING through this place unless you want to be SCAMMED out of your MONEY!!!! I gave them a rating of one , but would have given them a 0 if it was available! Total piece of S**T of a website!!! Very Mad and upset at myself! Should have checked them out first before purchasing! Will never happen AGAIN, learned my lesson the hard way. AGAIN, DON'T BUY FROM VIAGOGO!!!!!!!

Terrible company. Booked 4 tickets. Was only shown the single ticket price and never any totals so assumed £140.79 was for all for tickets. (Theatre face value was £45 per ticket). Thought I was getting a discount. Viagogo took £771 from my credit card for tickets worth £180 tops). This is the breakdown Tickets Purchased: 4 Price per ticket: £140.79 (face value £45) Ticket Cost: £563.16 Booking Fee: £165.62 Shipping Fee: £9.95 Buyer VAT: £33.13 Buyer Total: £771.86 Despite pleading and writing to Viagogo, Bank and Consumer watchdogs I was unable to get my money back. Stay away from this company please.
