“Bought tickets for an event which was cancelled, proceeded to message viagogo regarding a refund and received an email detailing that the event had been postponed and they were 'contacting' the event organisers the event had clearly been cancelled on the organisers website. It was impossible to receive a refund and if you persist they just throw their customer agreement at you. Would not recommend using viagogo ever, once you've paid that's your money gone no matter what.”

Shocking company and disgraceful customer service. I have spent everyday for weeks trying to get my money back from them after a cancelled concert for a birthday suprise. The language barrier of the call centre staff is shocking and they clearly read off a script giving you the same answers over and over with a terribly rude attitude. They clearly have no intention of giving our money back but you get the same response 'we are waiting for further information'. The show has been cancelled. I want a refund. It really. Is that simple. Sounds like a bunch of friends have put together a scam call centre and are laughing whilst talking to you and throwing your money around. Avoid. Terrible customer service.”
“Do not order on this site . I wish I had read reviews before I bought tickets on this site. I bought Toronto blue jays tickets back in Nov for May well before this whole COVID thing happening. Ticketmaster had issued us a refund as per the MLB saying they would do that, well I’ve contacted Viagogo about getting a refund and they say it’s postponed and we will let u know when you get your new tickets. I live on the other side of Canada and going to Toronto is an expensive trip, that we won’t be going on this year. This day in age with the COVID happening sites like these need to be more flexible especially when a huge ticket selling site like ticketmaster is issuing refunds. After this I will never use this site again! Very disappointed.”

“We booked for Eric Clapton In Munich In May. Eric cancelled for a year because of the global pandemic we are all experiencing. Viagogo call this rescheduling, so the hotel refunded, BA refunded but Viagogo send a mail asking that you click here to acknowledge receipt which likely means they are getting you to accept. I don’t normally comment on any sites but this is just disgusting during COVID19, not sure what to do next but anyone that has dealt with these people successfully and got their funds back please share.
They are very sad people and I guess most people only experience this once.

This is an awful service which just encourages people to bulk buy tickets and sell them on way above cost, ripping people off in the process. They don’t make it clear you’re spending multiples of the price of the original tickets for no reason. I will NEVER buy through this site again. AVOID at all costs. Always try to go directly to the venue or use more transparent vendor platforms such as ticketswap. Viagogo are not clear about their service, they are set up to inflate prices and make commissions.
