“Shipping from order date to delivery date was 4 weeks while website states 5-7 business days.
Upon arrival, I was disappointed to see "made in China" printed on the box. Had I known the filters was made in China, I would not have purchased them. The original Berkey filters are "made in USA" and I'm willing to pay more for that component.”

The lifetime of the filters depends on 2 aspects: the elapsed time and the amount of water filtered.
If one of the two limit has been reached, the corresponding filter will need to be replaced.
Please note that due to the large difference of water condition in different areas, the actual lifetime of the filters may vary slightly and the actual situation shall prevail.

“I placed an order for replacement filters and received an email stating that you would let me know when it shipped. When it had been over 2 weeks with no further notice, I contacted customer service. They replied in agreement that the order had not been filled and they would resend the order. I then heard that the filter was out of stock. I was given a credit (otherwise your review would have been lower). However, I should have been notified that the item was out of stock in a day or two, not weeks later after I had to contact you.”

“I purged the filters with clean water as directed and when I filled the canister and drank some of the filtered water only to find it had a somewhat petroleum taste so I tempted the water and filled it again and it gradually disipated. What would cause that taste? They also seem to distill the water faster than the Berky filters. The jury is still out in my book on your filters.”
