“My experience with K19-S (without heater):
Product quality: 3/5
Details - My first K19-S unit was delivered DOA; for some reason, the pump did not let water through. The second K19-S unit works well. However, it can sometimes leak after inserting the filled water tank if the external surfaces of the plastic parts are not completely dry.
Filter quality: 4/5
Details - I'm satisfied with the water filtering; the filter also reduces TDS from 160-170 to 6-18. Obviously, you can find a "stronger" filter with more stages if needed. Nevertheless, it will be pretty excessive in terms of initial costs, maintenance, and pure-to-drain rate. So, K19-S represents a good balance for a typical big city. It should be more than enough if your water source is not polluted much.
Technical Support: 5/5
Details - tech support helped me resolve (essentially, to replace) the first unit. The conversation was easy to go, and there was excellent customer-oriented service.
Overall: 4/5”
“My last purchased CF filter only lasts 4 months when the red alert appeared although the declared life time of the CF fitler is 6 months. The water is from city and not contaminated and clean enough.
The original CF filters last the whole 6 months but the one purchased from your company website only lasts 4 month. That's the reason I bought this one. Hope it can last as described.”
“There is room for improvement as we cannot alter the units from Oz to ml and temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Additionally, it's worth noting that the 'Max' mark on the front of the water tank differs from that on the back.”
“Product is working fine with nearly a month of use. The only issue we have is the tank is too small and needs to be refilled constantly in our house with 2 adults.”
“Good device - two things I don’t like:
1. The units are in F and oz, which I’m not used. I wish there are options for Celsius and ML.
2. Child lock cannot be customized. I want my child to be able to drink 113F water but not the super hot ones. It seems that I can only turn on child lock for all heating temperatures or nothing. Which is not an intuitive way to program it. It should be temperatures that has burning potential verses temperatures that has no burning potentials.”
“In the end, all worked out well. However, when I was in touch with Support due to the UV not working properly, the first response was to suggest that I buy the part from Amazon and you folks would reimburse me for the cost. I refused for two reasons: 1) It is the responsibility of waterdrop to do the work and deliver to me the faulty part. Not me. 2). From past experience, fighting for reimbursement was not what I wanted to be engaged in. I wrote back with a succintly message, refusing to order from Amazon, pointing out again, the problem and outlining was needed to be delivered by you folks. Once done, the support got into action and swiftly sent the parts. My suggestion is do not ask the customer to do the order of a new part that should be provided by you folks. That put me off of Waterdrop. When my fellow condo owners ask, I will tell them of l my saga. YOu can improve by taking responsibility at the outset, and swiftly rectifying the issue at your expense. Regards, T. Diane Monteith”
“There was small issue with shipping but product still arrived within a week. The website has room for improvement as some information is not easy to find as well as comparing units could be improved.”
“This is an online retailer supposedly based in Canada. However, it takes three to four weeks for delivery of the product. I had to interact with them 3 times before finally getting my filters. Not a good communication strategy.”
