“Mostly good produce, value for money, but occasional 'tired' produce e.g. this week received a packet of old?? peas that blanched up after 1 minute as khaki and tough. Inedible, tossed them out. Cabbage slightly yellowing and flabby. Cabbage and peas previous fortnight were fresher. Also variety has diminished over the last year, this week got only 2 fruit - oranges and bananas.”

“I ordered Booja chocolates, two eggs and a box of chocolates, with the Indian painted containers. A lady kindly phoned to apologise that they didn’t have everything in and that they could send things out separately, which was nice, but I was OK to wait. Got an email a. few days later to say everything was out for delivery (middle of March) I expected a ring at the doorbell from the delivery person, instead my husband found a brown paper open bag on our doorstep that had been there for at least an hour. Of course he looked inside, which was a shame as the chocolates were an Easter gift for him. I have no idea who delivered them. The chocolates in the eggs were very rich, but nice and I decided to give the box of chocolates to a friend. She enjoyed them, but being a good friend felt she had to tell me the best before date was 20th February !!! How embarrassing and also that I didn’t check this on receipt. I should have phoned up Wellocks but I’ve had a string of disappointing internet purchases and am fed up having to complain. Instead, I won’t be buying food products over the internet. Overall quite disappointing considering how nice the website and products are.”

“I was very pleased with the veg boxes, but the last two I received were disappointing. The pears on the last 2 boxes were inedible, over ripe and bruised, only fit for the bin. The oranges went mildew quickly”

“Wellocks delivery is good and reliable Wellocks' staff are always helpful on the phone with courteous delivery drivers.It is however important to eat some items particularly fruit, very soon after delivery as they do not always last more than a day or two .We are always pleased to see the fruit and veg box and appreciate the effort made to secure supplies throughout lock down.We expect to continue to use Wellocks even after the pandemic”

“We have been really impressed with both the variety and quality of the food (excellent), as well as the efficiency of the delivery. We have been inspired to try new recipes with products never previously used. Wellocks are now a regular supplier!”

“Great service and excellent produce - always look forward to our deliveries Only problem for us and it may be our fault is that as a subscription subscriber is that it is difficult to adjust and add to weekly orders - we have to ring the helpline who are always more than helpful. Also they have to assist in dealing with the points we earn However an excellent service”

“Disappointed with the selection this week. Large number of carrots and bananas,5 beetroot and only 1 onion which is past its best. I would have preferred some more green vegetables such as kale, cavelo Nero or spinach to supplement the cabbage. Selection has become very monotonous each week: large amount of carrots and bananas every week together with courgette, red pepper and 2 lemons.”

“Love the fruit and veg, fresh and excellent quality and flavour. Sometimes stretches our imagination with more unusual veg, good to stimulate us out of our usual choices. Could do with a few less carrots, though, tasty as they are. The only thing we can't use is the artichokes - plays up the IBS. Is it possible to request not to have those?”

“Having ordered a luxury brunch and 2 sirloin steaks as a surprise present, I was informed by the receiver that the quantity of items and the quality was fantastic. The customer service I received by Sue was also excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to make further purchases. 10 out of 10.”

“Disappointed with freshness of produce. Often items went mouldy within a day or two. Reluctantly cancelled my orders for the future.”

“Good variety of items but exactly the same choice as last time. Quality generally good but this time cabbage limp, one of onions rotten (thrown away), likewise one of the 4 potatoes and bananas bruised. Still leaves an awful lot of good food. Have been enjoying the beetroot and oranges especially.”

“I love getting this box every week and the quality is very good but my only issue is that you can’t change anything in the box. So .. if you don’t like courgettes you may have to give them all to the neighbors!”
