Terrible service. My order was cancelled the day before delivery. More notice should have been given. It was clear that restaurants would be reopening and Wellocks should have been better prepared for this. A refund was given but this was not sufficient as the late cancellation caused me additional work and expense to find a new birthday gift at the last minute. Customer service was unhelpful when I pointed this out. I will not be using your service again and will not recommend it to any friends or family.

My order was cancelled by Wellocks only 2 or 3 days before the expected delivery date, leaving me without options for a special birthday dinner I had planned. Money was refunded straight away but I would have expected more and some kind of discount or money back for the hassle would have maybe enticed me to try ordering again. Needless to say I won't.

I have ordered two deliveries but have not received any of my orders. I am still awaiting a refund.

Really sorry to write this but I cannot give more. I ordered a delivery as a treat for my husband's birthday. The delivery was due on a Saturday morning and I received an email at 5:30pm simply saying I had been refunded and no delivery was going to happen. I emailed to get clarification and just got signposted to an email which I "had received" (I absolutely had not) explaining unforseen circumstances. Whilst I understand this, there was no attempt to compensate me for the inconvenience and trouble it caused. Really disappointing as had previously had excellent experiences. But when I place an order, two weeks prior, I expect to receive that order, be informed in a timely manner if not and be compensated appropriately.

Let down with the delivery of my order. It was delayed and I was only informed by them when they emailed me at 3pm on the day of delivery. The items were time sensitive for a birthday cake and present so really messed up those items. Very disappointing and unacceptable delivery service.

This company is full of its own over-inflated ego. Stop telling us you cater for top restaurants and deliver a service to us. No rotting onions, wilting kale and an email at 1am on the morning of my delivery telling me that you are arriving at 8am! You have asked me to rate my last order? The one that you cancelled for hundreds as your management board are incompetent and left the delay until 2.30pm the same day to tell people on the first week of relaxed restrictions that their orders were cancelled. Do not shop here. They need to go and play with a Fisher Price supermarket toy to learn the basics with plastic fruit and and a till. No communication about my five pound loyalty voucher that has vanished due to my cancelled order. Absolutely useless! (But make sure your five star eateries are okay; the ones you allegedly cater for). Pop to Ocado and save the hassle people.

The delivery got cancelled the day before it was due.. very disappointed. Refund was given but just a standard email.. we've got problems and have cancelled your order.. not impressed. Luckily got a delivery from Ocado. Will not use Wellocks again.. which is a shame because the quality has been good but can't be let down the day before.

First order I placed was excellent and delivered on time. Second order was placed and a delivery scheduled failed to turn up. Wellocks sent me a mail on the afternoon of the delivery date to say they are having problems with their distribution and would just offer a refund. Not sure I would use again based on their unreliability.

Very poor communication. No notification when order couldn’t be honoured. I ordered some meat for my sister & brothers birthday bbq Only notified on the day of delivery by an e-Mail of credit that it would not be delivered with no explanation of why. Orders delivered to wrong address. Think presentation of delivery is poor. A decent box would help. Will not use you again and not recommend you

I have had two deliveries cancelled and I am still awaiting my second refund. I am very disappointed that that your business model has proved not to be fit for purpose with the reopening of the hospitality trade. You have let down those who supported your business during the lockdowns. That said, if you restore “home services” I will consider continuing to use you.

Ordered edible flowers for a wedding cake. I was informed pretty late on the day they were supposed to be delivered that they couldn't be supplied. Will never use company again.

My delivery was cancelled and I was appalled by the poor communication. I phoned and was assured a manager would contact me, no one did, I just got an email. Not impressed.

I did not receive the delivery of frit and salad stuff. As advised when ordering I typed my post code in to check they delivered to my area. It said that they did. On the day it was due to be delivered I received an email to say they didn't deliver to my area and they refunded my money. I was very disappointed as they had my order for nearly a week but left it to the day of delivery to inform me I would not be receiving my order.

Ordered an Easter chicken package, received confirmation email, however the product didn’t get delivered. Spoken to a member of staff and received a credit, albeit this system issue means my Sunday lunch is no more. Not good and would of thought that if you’re making delivery commitments then you need to fulfil these accordingly. Andrew Dawson-

There has been the odd item of produce not up to standard but over the last few weeks this had become more regular. Last weeks bananas were all bruised and I had to throw half of each banana away. In addition were other goods well past their sell by date. This week I opened my box to find the packet of snap peas totally mouldy and fungal plus a very sorry looking cabbage and another mould onion. I have had super customer service on reporting this but I would rather it wasn’t happening. I had been praising wellocks to my friends over this past year but now I wouldn’t urge anyone to use you. I am giving wellocks one more week to see if things improve before I cancel my subscription. My other problem is that I am accumulating points but have no way of using the money against my order!
