“It was quick initially.I had to change dates and accomodation type then it got delayed and was concerned about the expiry quotation date which was due. I was happy to get the response with the same quoted price still because i was going to affect our budget if it had changed. Thank you”

“The team at www.south-african-hotels.com booked a private safari for us and were able to secure rooms in a heavily booked season. They then checked in with us regarding dietary requirements, transfers, etc and followed up again to see if there's anything else with which they could help . Excellent service! Chris”

“For a family of 5 wanting a quick bush break one night at Ivory Tree Lodge felt like a week-end. Staff was friendly, service excellent and the rooms looked like the pics. Thoroughly enjoyable!”

“I was really cold the evening I spent at this hotel/B&B and there was no electric blanket on the bed and the air con did not work. I also felt the carpets could have benefited from a good shampooing. Otherwise all was fine, it was reasonably priced and central which is what I was looking for.”

“Booking via the internet was quick and easy. After sending through my payment details, I received an e-mail the following day saying that my reservation was cancelled due to non-payment. I phoned and the lady was very helpful and quickly sorted that out. However, when we got to the hotel, they didn't know anything about my booking. Luckily I took along the e-mail copies of my booking and confirmation. The receptionist had to sort that out and made a copy of my e-mail confirmation. In the end we enjoyed our stay at the hotel but in future I will rather do the booking myself.”

“The hotel offers a fair service but parking is a nightmare. The place could use some re-furbishment in the rooms to make these alot more mordern and attractive. TV can change to LED/HD for clearer picture and a better bigger Screen would be appreciated. Bathrooms too old and need renovations now. Saw cobwebs!! Otherwise for a night or two can do but certainly not long stay. Friendly staff at reception and housekeeping staff makes up for the above.”

“Good day, Thank you for requesting my feedback. I would like to highlight the fact that I was disappointed with having to pay a 10% penalty for cancelling a booking on the same day that it was confirmed by yourselves. The transaction took literally 3 working days and cost me R200 for nothing. That is not what I call service. I travel often to Durban to visit family and prefer booking in online. I will not make this mistake again and I have warned my friends against this service.”

“Excellent service . I found it extremely difficult to make a booking at our preferred hotel Johannesburg using the web sites. Using a direct phone call to South African Hotels made the whole transaction very simple.”
