DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! We paid for hotel and transport to Aquila Safari and spa. They never paid Aquila for our transport we are being held hostage to leave Aquila because we do not want to pay twice for a service that South African hotels was paid for. We have called and called and they are not answering the phone or responding to messages n WhatsApp. If I could give them a 0 I would. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Aquila added the issue by not letting us go even though we provided documentation that we already paid for the transportation service.

My wife and I booked Elephant House hotel in Addo, but had to cancel due to a cancer diagnosis preventing us from travelling. The Elephant House refused to refund us in full, blaming booking.com. But booking.com has refunded us in full for other properties, so clearly they are lying. Don't book Elephant House Hotel. They don't tell the truth and are not compassionate people. Avoid!

Terrible butter chicken - expensive tough and not tasty... service shocking... breakfast very average....bath water...brown and dirty....no shower gel....hygiene can also be improved...more than 1 guest had a complaint....very disappointing compare to last visit in 2017.....busy losing it stars! More a 2 star than a 5 star! Won't be back soon! Stunning view... so much to offer...but very messed up..SAD!! TELEPHONE ALSO NOT WORKING...HAD TO MAKE CALLS FORM OUR CELLPHONE ...4 STAR ...NO!

This is the most unprofessional company ever! I was planning my holidays to S.A from Europe from june ( now is Dec) and I choose unfirtunately this company. They denand from me all the ammount in advance and this was absolutely logical so i paid! So i get the confirmation email ( i can provide photos if you want) that everything is paid and ready for my stay in Kruger park Letaba camp. As i traveled more than 18 hours from my country and arrived at Letaba they request 125 euros more to use my accommodation! Something that this company didnt refer to me nowhere in our conversation! * I also call them before my flight and ask them if i need anything more to do and they said to me that everything is ok! When Letaba rewuest from me the 125 euros i called this "company" and they told me that i should know this extra fee!! And i asked them throw all the conversation we had why you didnt mentioned anything to me and they answered to me " Sorry sir if we were a rental car we should also inform you also for the tolls? This is how professional is this company!!!! Dont trust them at all!!!! Is the worst company you could choose!!!! Stay away!

all i can say is tha everything was great till I left my valuable thing on the table then went out for 2 hours leaving my key at the reception when I come back my cellphone nd my watch were missing nd theMDinstead of helping me he insulted me

The agency did not explain that I was communicating with an agency. We thought we werre talking directly to the hotel. In certan moments the personel were note kind and some even were rude. They put lot of pressure for customers to pay full amount for the rooms and took very long to pay to the hotel. The hotel then asked payment in full again. We lost money, time and get very stressed during this process

Muzi Safari Tour is a thief. Awful experience with Muzi Safari Tour who was recommended by the Protea Kruger Gate Hotel. We booked a tour at the hotel agency with Muzi Safari tour who was recommended by the hotel and we wanted to charge directly the tour on our room but the driver didn't accept despite the hotel gave us the authorization. We paid with credit card but when we get the ticket, we realized that the amount was 27380 Zar instead of 2738 Zar. Big difference for a day safari tour...!!! The guide couldn't cancel the operation on the card machine and called the bank who told us that the transaction was instantly cancelled but after coming back to France, the amount was deduct from our bank account. After many phone calls with the bank from France, they told us that the transaction is done and the amount is on Muzi bank account and the only solution to get back the money is that Muzi company send back the money to us directly but they refuse and argue that they don't have the money. The Protea hotel is also responsible of that because they didn't do anything to help us although the hotel agency works with that safari tour. So we paid 27380 zar with credit card and 2738 zar by cash so 30118 zar for a safari tour is quite expensive (2100€/2300$)

"First night, we went to dinner and were told an hour before the buffet closes that some of the food is finished and were not going to be replaced, after making a noise, the extra food arrived. Wake in the morning and had to have a cold shower as the hot water was finished?!? Get back to the room, no fresh towels replaced, ask for towels and the housekeeper comes with "clean" towels and put them on the floor outside the room to sort them out and give me "clean" towels??? The room was not vacuumed. They then compensate us with dinner on the house with a promise that the General Manager will talk to us, however she did not arrive. So we had no towels to use. This is the first Protea Hotel that we stayed at with pathetic service and still paid the full price? Very very disappointed!"

we had a very bad experience at Lake side lodge, Entabeni. We had 2 rooms from 27th May to 30th May 2016. It was a horrible experience at lake side lodge entabeni with no hot water in the rooms and continuously the maintenance guys just being in our room and taking away our peace and privacy. They spoilt our full trip . The general manager Mr Anton also didn't allow us to shift to any good rooms and just gave a cold response . the water in the tap was mud water. images all attached. We want full refund of our amount and also compensation of 10000 R.

I am absolutely furious to put it a least . When your consultant called ,I specifically asked her if it was the main hotel and she confirmed it was. I reiterated my point and was happy to pay the amount cos it was like R800 cheaper than other sites. Only to find out it was the Lodge and not the Hotel when i got there. I paid R2230 whereas I could get the lodge for R1500 BUT I DID NOT WANT TO STAY THERE. I did stay there and would like to know who is going to reimburse me you can verify this with the Lodge Directly .I await your Urgent response !Not only was I misled , I was ripped off and overcharged as well . Im very disappointed because i booked and i was not told that i must arrive at the gate at 4pm.i was told gates closes at 6pm which i have arrived at 5.30pm.the voucher was talking about the check in and the check out thats all

The payment is made without any transparency and the quote is not made with regards to customer messages : - I discovered by surprised that the full cost of the stay was retrieved from my credit car, hence I received an invoice... while before I ve been asked only for a deposit of 15% - I mentionned that we were 3 with a child, and the quote did not take into account. When I made the declaration of family, I ve been requested an extra charge. All these practises show greater interest on money generation rather than customer care.

I enquired for 3 nights for 3 adults at Tenahead loge in the eastern cape check-in 23/12 and check out 26/12. I was quoted R5160 for 2 adults and R1050 for the extra adult p/n sharing the same room. When I checked in to the lodge only 2 adults were booked. But Lisinda at the lodge said she would accommodate the extra adult but just pay for breakfast. I had paid your company R8260 already(not too sure of the exact figure). When I checked out on the 26th I checked my account and only R5640 was credited to my account. Also, the rate that Tenahead charged was R1880 p/n for 2 adults. Completely different from what I was quoted by your staff. I had to pay the difference to Tenahead plus I have been overcharged by your agents and almost R3000 short was paid to Tenahead. Also when Lisinda phoned 1 of your agents-I was standing in the office. Your agent asked why did Lisinda give me a printout. I also sent emails today and the issue has still not been resolved.
