It was quick initially.I had to change dates and accomodation type then it got delayed and was concerned about the expiry quotation date which was due. I was happy to get the response with the same quoted price still because i was going to affect our budget if it had changed. Thank you

Easy to use the website but I was a little dubious when it came to payment as I wasn't sure of the security level, or whether in fact the site was genuine. Took a chance in the end and seems to be fine.

HALLO RYAN. THANKS FOR THE OPPERTUNATY TO COMMENT ON YOUR SERVICE.THE EFFORTS DONE WITH THE BOOKINGS WERE EXCILLENT,BUT ON ARRIVAL AT BADPLAAS WE HAD PROBLEMS.THEY SAID THAT ALTHOUGH WE HAD PAPERS PROVING OUR PAYMENT ,THEY DID NOT RECEIVE ANY PAYMENT AND I HAD TO STAND THERE IN THE QUEUE AND WAIT FOR THEM TO MAKE PHONE CALLS,WHICH TOOK LONG AND WAISTED EVERYBODYS TIME.SECONDLY THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH BREAKFAST.I AM IN POSSESSION OF AN E-MAIL STATING THAT BREAFAST WAS INCLUDED,BUT ACCORDING TO THEM BREAKFAST WAS NOT INCLUDED. AGAIN I HAD TO WAIST ANOTHER 30 MIN. AT RECEPTION.SEEING THAT YOU ASKED,I THINK THAT WAS NOT HANDLED GOOD.PEOPLE AT BADPLAAS WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING. JOHANNES WAS VERY HELPFULL,AND NEEDS MENTIONING. Dear Mr Buckley, Thank you for the reply and I am very sorry for inconvenience caused. I am grateful that you brought this issue to our attention. I did investigate the problem and from what I can see is that the Head Office of the Forever Resort Group did not communicate with Badplass itself. I did speak to the Front Desk when they called and it seemed like it is unfortunately an on-going problem. We have requested head office to look into how they can improve their communication with their own resorts. We are hoping that they understand and recognize the problem so that future guest do not have to experience the same problems you had. Once again my sincere apologies. Making online bookings via South African Hotels . com is easy and effective. In addition they are cheaper than making an online booking directly with the chosen hotel.

Food excellant overall great service. No rugby shown on a Saturday at Drakensberg Sun and after asking at reception if they could switch over ............ and being ignored..................hey guys this is South Africa.

This is the second time I am using South African Hotels. I have been very impressed by their service. I have only used them when booking Sun International properties and they are consistently well priced and everything is always in order for my booking. My only feedback, technology allowing, would be to invest in creating a secure on-line payment environment, which would make the process even smoother. However, I am sure this is something that has already been considered on its merits. Thank you for the service.

Airport Grand hotel very good but only one thing I did not like - I found the Hotel on Internet and on that website they stated that all rooms have WIFI available. I tried but soon learnt that it was not the case. Why do they advertise it but it is not true. Also , why do you call it AIRPORT GRAND HOTEL while it is 20 minutes drive from airport?. Otherwise I was very happy with the hotel.

It was a good experience to have used the site to book the hotel by South African Tourism Company. The only problem I found was that when I made the quote was provided an estimate of the budget, and when I received the confirmation it higher than expected.

The service was good except that one has to wait days (over the weekend) for somebody to check availability of room. I thought that the system could automatically check availability of rooms!

Good, efficient service. Only small issue was I phoned to inquire about the time it takes to get from the West airstrip in Madikwe to the Lodge (we took a charter flight), and was told 3.5 hours. This seemed strange and I asked a few other people - it took 30 mins. I asked the Lodge how long to go from the East airstrip, thinking that was the error, and was told 1.5 hours. Message is, this is critical info for planning the trip, it has to be right!

All my queries were answered quickly and professionally. Staff were very professional in carring out my needs and forwered me updates keeping me intouch with every step of the process. I am a pensioner with limited resources - I do not have a scanner or printer and as such needed alternative approach to complete my booking successfully. The staff were able to overcome this and complete my booking arrangements. I can vouch that the staff I delbt with were highly trained and competent to handle my quiries expertly and con highly recommend one using them with ones requirements in future.

We were checked in to a room at the Mount Grace which had enamel peeling off in the bath, the quality of the room for the fee was well below what we've experienced in other 4 and 5 star hotels. The hotel kindly switched rooms and upgraded us
