Lynette Swanepoel, was amazing, I was agonizing at the thought at spending the Christmas vacation at home, after a hectic year of hard work, what better pleasure than a 5 star hotel pampering and when I thought it just could not happen despite my many many time-consuming endeavours ...Lynette got me a booking within less than 24 hours.....HER SERVICE IS HIGHLY COMMENDABLE.

Always very good service however I am still awaiting 2 questions to be answered for our booking at Kwa maritane Oct 30th- Nov 2nd _Odette Parfitt. I need confirmation that the room is TWIN beds and also that its a ground floor quiet unit and also a map for directions to get there from JHB side. Many thanks Odette Parfitt

Good response, but a little misleading. I thought I was dealing with the service provider, but only after transaction realised that I was dealing with an in-between agent. More clarification is needed up front

Quick response, very helpful when we decided to change our date after booking and very patient when my bank kept blocking payment due to possible fraud, nothing seems too much trouble. would definitely recommend.

Received a prompt reply following initial booking to inform me that South African Hotels would be back in contact as/when booking with the hotel was confirmed - which they did. As I was booking from the UK, booking/payment process probably took a little long than would normally be expected as I had to wait for system to confirm payment received as I had made the initial booking late Friday evening. Hotel booking and payment now confirmed, room rate was very competitive. Would use company again if/when booking accommodation in South Africa.

I have been staying at City Lodge ORT several times over the past 6 years while working in Lesotho. Somehow this time when I went to make the reservation it did not go direct to City Lodge but to you. I found your system burdensome and costly. In the interest of good customer service it should be clear that you are just a travel agent and charge a commission. I will avoid this route in the future.

Ideally located and with lot of restaurants around, this hotel is ran by a welcoming team. If only the pool was on duty!

I was very unhappy with the service I received, I wanted to book a family room at Glenburn lodge and I specified in my initial request that I required a room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Once I received the quote, I called to double check that I was being quoted for a family room and this was confirmed. I made payment thinking all was in order. It was only when I called to change the date for my booking that I was told that I would have to pay an additional amount to cater for the kids. Needless to say that I was extremely annoyed and asked that my booking be cancelled. I have since sent my bank acc details for the refund but have not got any response.

Additional charges are applicable for children depending on their age. We did try to get the children fees waived for you, we were only able to get them reduced. Having spent hours on the internet comparing hotels for our forthcoming holiday in SA, a quick email to South African Hotels provided me with all the information I could have wished for. Adjusting a few minor details was easy & confirmed within minutes. I found their customer service fabulous, their prices fantastic & a high five for their time & effort. I'll be back.
