“Avoid! Avoid! And Avoid.. I did not want to give them a star. They are not reliable estate agents. Had a dreadful experience. Total waste of money and time. Appalled to receive an email from Yopa that " The Great News, completion been done." Actually they sold the property to someone else. While my solicitor was waiting for the inquires from the Seller.(after property survey was done.) They did not have courtesy to tell that property was sold to someone else. Would never recommend to my family and friends.”

“Where to start? Dreadful experience start to finish. Now left to take my case to the ombudsman. Tried to purchase a property through this agency. Suspected it might have an issue getting a mortgage. Agent told me categorically there wouldn’t be an issue. There was an issue. £590 later for totally wasted survey fee and customer services investigation into their employee tells me because he told me this over four weeks ago he can’t remember if he said this or not, and because it was verbal I have no case. We shall see. This outfit is unprofessional and tell lies. I can’t tell anyone if they should use them or not. I won’t be using them again and I firmly believe with this level of incompetence they won’t be around for long”

“I booked a valuation appointment last week with Yopa. The appointment booked for 09:00 in the morning. They just phoned (16:50) to say they can’t make it. Also told me that if I put my house on the market in January, it would need another valuation because this month’s wouldn’t be accurate. Never heard this before, sounds like a con for more money. What a rip off and a bunch of time wasters.”

“I would not wish to give it 1 star in fact no stars should be the case. Whatever you do don't use them. We are in a chain where one of the parties at the bottom of the chain used Yopa to sell their property, what has happened is that we are in stalemate due to Yopa not responding to any calls, emails, letters from any other agents in the chain as everyone is ready to exchange but due to not being able to speak to Yopa for information and the fact Yopa have used their own online conveyancing firm as well who to does not respond, the chain is in stalemate and the rest of us cannot move forward and exchange. They just will not respond to anyone and nor does their conveyancing firm they recommend you use they conveyancing firm (backhander! of course) absolute corrupt company, villians! we are at risk of the chain collapsing at any moment because of them being absolutely incompetent. PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THEM AND ANY CONVEYANCING FIRM THEY RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE KEEN TO SELL OR BUY A HOME”

“I would say that if you want to sell your house you shouldn’t use this company! I am a potential buyer, but on 2 occasions (weeks apart) trying to book a viewing was near impossible. The first time I felt that it was too difficult and would take weeks so I gave up. Then after looking at all our other options we decided to try again. We were forced into agreeing to have a valuation even though we said we were under contract with another agent, and then had to wait over a week to see the property and had to accept a viewing at 9pm!! Ridiculously late, but wanted to actually get a look at this property. Anyway, I was due to look at it tomorrow, not received any confirmation or anything. Just looked on rightmove to see that it has now been taken off the market- no contact from Yopa to inform us of this? This company is a joke - I would avoid at all costs - what you might save in fees is not worth it.”

“I saw a house on yopa recently as we were thinking about downsizing - don’t need a mortgage - went through the booking system and got a call from yopa - to cut a long story short wouldn’t give me a viewing as my house wasn’t on the market - ( actually it didn’t need to be ) and because the house in question ‘ had offers already’ so why wasn’t it sold then ? It’s a shame - estate agency is a people business, I’d never use them”

“YOPA is a FIXED FEE ESTATE AGENT so they are not bothered or concerned what the property sells for because they are either way paid their fee. They do not even try to sell the property for the highest price. I understand the property market very well, sometimes it can exceed the asking price and sometime not. My friend had her property with YOPA but withdrew with them and went with another estate agent and it went well beyond the asking price But with YOPA it sold but they were persuading her to take the 3 offer which was well over the asking price Though even the property had been up for only 1 day. So they were not taking more viewings given the fact the property only had been up for a day. She left it for a week with the other agent and went with the highest offer which was of course well over the asking price I’d rather go for quality than cheapness.”

“I phoned YOPA as soon as the sale board went up near to my house, a very unprofessional lady answered the phoned who had no clue of what I was talking about. Then after repeating myself for 10 mins she said that they are not taking viewing yet but in a weeks time they will be taking appointments for viewing. So I called up on the day in fact afternoon that it was advertised on right move. With great difficulty I got an appointment, just to be texted a day before the actual viewing to say that the appointment will have to be cancelled as they have had an offer and has been excepted. But what I can’t understand is that what was all this white lies that we were told. Even if the offer was excepted I might have offered a higher offer. But they don’t care as flat rate fee not the more you sell for the more commission you make because they know if it sells for asking price or in excess off or offers over they will only get the fixed rate fee. So they don’t care. This property in question is for a stoke on Trent property postcode ST4 8 and the agent is Felicity Radnor avoid her she is very rude and not professional at all in my opinion. If I find out ever that she is someone who I would have to deal with, believe me prior to me dealing with her I will say Good Bye.”

““Absolute shambles!! Don't try to sell you property with this bunch. I'm a buyer and have tried to view one of the propertys advertised my them for a last month without success. Every time I book day and time with someone on the phone, I get a message usually on the day of viewing saying "your appointment has been amanded to another Ransome day and time" now I understand that sometimes agent can't make it and has to rearrange. How about give me a call or email me asking whether I can make it to new appointment. Don't just announce that appointment has been amanded!! Who the hell do you think I am?! Not the way to treat customers. I'll never try to sell any of my property through these ppl. Stay away! Especially the agent in the ST4 8 area Felicity Radnor”

“Totally Useless. Our house went on the market with YOPA in March/April 2019, it sold within hours of being listed and that was when all help & assistance stopped. if it wasn't for the Estate Agent acting on behalf of the house we are buying then we would be totally lost. They ignore all requests for information, they told the other estate agents that the people buying our house were 1st time buyers, that wasn't true so it caused all sorts of issues. Not replying to phone calls, emails, or messages on there own system, honestly worst experience I have ever had and would strongly advise anyone thinking of using YOPA to look elsewhere, you will get NO help whatsoever from them. As others have already said, you get what you pay for, BUT in this case for £900 you don't even get that :(”

“Its a bit worrying because the reviews on trust pilot must be fixed somehow. The reviews here are far more accurate to my experience. Be careful if you are buying from someone who is using these guys. They are incredibly dismissive about your rights to know things as a buyer. Make sure you quiz them hard. In the event they fail to deliver key, critical information to you or even worse mislead you (all very likely) they will just play it off and not actually learn from their mistakes or admit fault. If you are thinking of using them it’s probably because they are cheap - if so I urge you to look elsewhere. You typically get what you pay for but I would say with these guys in our case the seller didn’t even get what they paid for. Just a really half baked, rude at times service. They don’t treat you like a customer, rather a nuisance. disappointing and failure to communicate has let a lot of people down. Admittedly your experience depends on the individual you work with but the company should take more responsibility when it comes to integrity.”

“Extremely stressful company to use, from over valuing my property to hoodwink me into listing it for sale, shocking bad home report that was totally inaccurate to now them trying to fleece me out of a further £300 for not using a solicitor on their 'panel' yet I used a solicitor the agent recommended me to use! Bunch of cowboys avoid them at all costs!”

“AVOID !! Totally unprofessional and should be avoided at all costs if you don't want t0 add to the stress of selling your home. Awful experience with with these bunch of cowboys. Not replying to emails or voice messages and now stuck in limbo as to how to proceed. Read all the negative reviews before proceeding and do yourself a favour.”

“SIMPLY IF YOU WANT TO SELL YOUR HOUSE DON'T USE YOPA! THEY ARE THE WORSE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH, FROM OVER VALUATION THAT STOPS VIEWINGS TO INCORRECT FLOOR PLANS, BAD PHOTOGRAPHY, AGENTS WHO WOULD BE BETTER PLAYING CANDY CRUSH, THEY MANAGED TO PROLONG OUR HOUSE SALE BY NEARLY 6 MONTHS AFTER GIVING THE SPEECH OF IT WILL SELL IN A MONTH, BUT DUE TO INCOMPETENCE WE HAD TO CHANGE TO ANOTHER AGENCY T SELL THE PROPERTY, IF YOU WANT TO SELL DON'T USE YOPA!!!!!!!!!”

“The fact that i have to give them 1 star to write this review makes me sick. We had our house on the market for 2 months before we had a viewing and in 4 months we had 2. We told them it wasnt good enough so they took the sold sign down the next day and reminded us that we still owe them £900 for the privilege. We went straight to William H Brown and had 2-3 viewings a week and was sold in a month. STAY AWAY!”

“Don't bother with these cowboys, they'll cost you money. I've had my house on the market for 12 months and it still hasn't been sold. All they want you to do is reduce the price to get a sale. I've done what they've asked and the still haven't sold it. To be honest I would be better off advertising it myself and not using these cowboys. If you do use them, don't pay them any money upfront or do the deferred payment because once they get paid they're not interested. The agent I use from Yopa, who is self employed is called Megan Russell, who covers the Nantwich and surrounding area's, take my advise and stay away, she never answers your calls or text, leaves lights on and door unlocked, and never gives you feedback. Please take this review seriously it's not a joke. My house is at 31 Clonnersfield, Stapley Nantwich, check out how long this has been on the market with these cowboys. Nige”

“All we wanted to do was view a house. I went through the Yopa booking system which I was impressed with but then it went downhill from there. I never got a reply from the agent in 3 days so I chased it up. I contacted Yopa and the person said they would chase the agent up. No reply again after 4 more days! I chased it up further. Same guy said he contacted agent but agent never replied, then gave me the email to the agent so I could chase him up. Bad customer service, a lack of immediacy and lazy! I would be very wary of using them and reading some reviews now I am glad I stopped there before pushing forward more.”

“Dreadful service- as a buyer son viewed property and made an offer subject to survey that showed expensive faults and made revised offer and referred to used furniture seller wished to dispose of - agent came back saying seller wanted an extra £1000 and listed all of the furniture to be included that we agreed - later on after we have made arrangements to buy said made a mistake and seller wants an extra £2500 ?????????”

“Took three days to secure booking as one designated agent (covering Maidstone in Kent!) was on holiday. Very unenthusiastic agent - have decided not to view, sell or purchase other than with normal agents.”
