I ordered 40 plus plug trailing begonias my mothers favourite hanging basket plant in memory of my father (last year the plants were very good) when they arrived they were battered and not in good condition managed to save possibly 20 plants fingers crossed sent an email and a photo as requested have been offered a half refund as they don't have any plus plug plants and now ordered 20 garden ready plugs and hopefully they arrive in a better condition had to pay postage again so nearly cost double the initial amount and may have enough plants to do some hanging baskets could blame the couriers but no information on the package to handle with care or keep upright You garden is a company that this replacement will be the last order from us

The plug plant I received looks nothing like it was shown on the website. It doesn't look healthy at all and certainly won't be flourishing to plant out in September. The 1st picture is what they say it should look like, the 2nd picture is the reality. £9.99 I have paid for this, I could have purchased an established one for a bit more. They have advised they will look at my complaint if the plant hasn't started flourishing in 30 days. It looks on its last legs which they don't appear to be acknowledging this

I ordered this tomato planter from You Garden. It was £39 which seemed a lot but thought it would save me the hassle of watering every day. They took 5 weeks to arrive. I received no information from them about the delay and, of course, it’s now a bit late to use them for tomatoes. I eventually asked them to cancel the order and, surprise surprise, they were suddenly ‘ dispatched.’ What arrived was not what I was expecting. They looked like they had been used and returned. You Garden said that they were new, unused and of good quality. The muck was just from them being stored in a busy nursery and would be easy to wipe down. Which begs the question, why didn’t they they do that before they sent them out in this condition? They were also badly scuffed which the company said were, ‘movement marks’. I found this absolutely insulting. I asked them how they would feel about receiving ‘new’ goods in this condition but they didn’t reply to that comment. I also bought some large potato planters at the same time and they were full of dried on mud. After 5 emails from me asking how we could move forward with my concern they eventually repeated that the planters were new, in unused, condition but would offer me a £5.00 voucher to use on their website on my next purchase. As if I would ever buy anything from them ever again! I have had no apology, just a couple of emails saying there is nothing wrong with them and if I want to return it I must do so at my own expense and they will not refund my postage. I’ve had a few plants from them too which were very hit and miss, for example, I bought 2 hydrangeas and one was fine but the other was dead on arrival, the same with 2 holly plants. But they were generally cheap so I didn’t worry too much and just sucked it up. I know the planter is useable but they’d be in the bargain bin at my local garden centre - which is who will get my custom in future. Shockingly bad customer service, arrogant attitude and obviously no concept of how to generate repeat business. Not only do I not recommend this company I recommend you DO NOT get anything from them. I wish I could have given them zero stars. I have used quickcrop.co.uk who offered excellent goods and excellent customer service, and obviously my local garden centre.

I placed an order on the 4th May. I queried the order by email 2 weeks later and the response I had was that it was a busy time of year. My thoughts were that they should have realised this when they took the order. The order finally arrived on 2nd June with a dead plant that they charged me £9.99 for. I have not had an answer yet, and from reading these reviews, I won't hold my breath.

ordered a rose and a clematis, when they arrived the clematis was obviously dying but we thought we'd give it a chance and plant it, the rose looked poorly too. Within a couple of days the clematis was totally dead. When I contacted customer services by email sending a photo I was given instructions on how to plant and grow it which is difficult with a dead plant. After some emailing backwards and forwards I was promised a refund which I am still waiting for 17 days later. Having rung today I am told I have to wait another 10 days for the refund with no real reason given other than it has been requested but not actioned. She then hung up on me. In the meantime the rose has also died. I would never order from this company again. Beware the quality of plants is appalling and the customer service matches this.

unhealthy/ diseased plants sent out and refuse to refund or replace unless you pay to send them back - and was told that there is no guarantee the replacement plants will be healthy, so gamble at your own cost. Buyer beware!

Told today Fuchsia pyramids not available after 5 week wait will refund another 14 days to wait. One remaining plant on its way will see what state that ‘s in even if that is refunded I still have to pay £6.99 delivery and may have no plants!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY'RE APPALLING

I ordered 2 date palms, buy one and get one free. The brochure stated "mature specimen plants of 70-80cms/3 foot". These came at half the size stated and certainly not mature. And certainly would not enhance any patio! A cane came with each one and I cannot see any reason why...but it is 3 foot..did this company really include the cane in the measurements?? Surely not! I sent a completed form to this Company but the 24hr response does not function. I cannot say I am surprised considering the amount of unhappy customers. Very disappointing and a waste of £27. I will stick to my local garden centre in future.

Very disappointed with this company. Ordered some potatoes plant’s and zero growth.Got In touch with the company and they said you have only 30 days to complain. But it takes 12 weeks plus too see if they grow. And basically saying no refund. Not a happy customer.

2 Gardenias 'Celestial Star' ordered and received February 2021. They didn't look in great shape but I looked after them in our greenhouse until it eventually became obvious that neither had thrived. It was now early May and these gardenias were out of stock. It was not possible to get through on the freephone number, so I emailed Customer Services. Response from Yougarden said I could choose anything else to the same value but it had to be order via Freephone. Today (June 21) I did get through on Freephone and spoke to Alex who was very helpful and said 'Celestial Star' is back in stock if I would like replacements, which I have agreed to. Still need to pay £6.99 P & P as outside the 30 day guarantee. This seems to be to be counter-productive for Yougarden as it is better for customers financially to reject plant/s within 30 days even if it's not yet clear whether the plants will survive. I suggest that perennial plants should have longer than 30 days with customer to assess viability before re-order triggers further P & P.

Dreadful! Same as many of these. Spent over £100 on plants most of which either never grew (rotten strawberry runners, dead shrubs). Went to the trouble of calling, then sending in photos, got lots of « sorry we are so busy- we will get to your email soon » automated email excuses, but no follow up, despite chasing 3 times. Am now going to put in a data subject access request and then sue them if I don’t get a refund, because I am a lawyer and feel annoyed enough about the dismissive approach to customer service to take the time to do so. Will also complain to Radio Times where they advertised as they are clearly targeting older people and the magazine should not be associated with this.

Brought patio roses none survived all dead refund wasn’t allowed so had to order bedding plants as patio roses not back in stock til nov . So received my jumbo garden ready bedding plants x 24 only there were 17 the others where dead the ones that did arrive were the size of my little finger nail . None grew so I asked to cancel my hanging baskets they assured me they would be perfect . Well they arrived on three seperate days in plastic green baskets cheap and nasty . The plants where broken and wilted . I contacted them again and got told send a picture . Which I have and now git told oh send them back and we then respond . Absolutely awful waste of 102 pound on hanging baskets that I could find myself a month ago rather than wait for inferior plants

Unfortunately I have to give YouGarden a one start rating. At the end of April I spent over £140 ordering tomato plants. I chased the delivery of these up and received these just under two weeks ago. Some of the plants arrived badly damaged and YouGarden agreed to replace one of those plants and the replacement arrived yesterday. Still one lot wasn't replaced. However I realised at the weekend that the rest of Tomato plants all have a fungus type infection and all have died. They were sharing a green house with other plants that I'd purchased elsewhere and sadly some of these have died and I've had to disinfect the whole greenhouse, along with buying brand new plants from a local garden centre. I have written to YouGarden who have so far refused to refund this order. It is a terrible waste of money not only on plants purchased through them but also for the others I had purchased that were in the same greenhouse and therefore affected by the fungus from the YouGarden plants. I'd never purchase from this site again and I have now learnt an expensive lesson to only purchase plants from physical garden centres. Do not buy from this site if you want decent quality plants. I have not received a refund yet and so far I've been told they will not provide one.

APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I received a broken tree that had its branches deliberately snapped to fit in a tiny box!? Which is now dead...it was a wedding anniversary gift!! This is so upsetting to see it broken and now dead. With its branches intact there was no way it would of fit into the shape of the tiny box it came in. You garden Ignore emails and delete complaints each day on thier Facebook page. Give me my money back!?😡 it's been almost two weeks with no reply. Disgusting service. Would not use again.

' Scammers! Stay AWAY ' Do NOT fall for positive reviews as they cannot be genuine. Read all negative reviews and you can see how dissapointed people are with them and theres no way you even get your money back from them. The worst company I have ever ordered plants online from. They charged for Jumbo plug lavender and sent me tiny smallest version of plugs. All raspberry canes are super dry and dead. Blueberry rootball is having some kind of disease and all browned and probably water clogged. I have contacted them more than 10 times and never bothered to reply me yet. Also the delivery was delayed 2 weeks and it took nearly a month for me to receive my plants. So I am behind my gardening project for this summer + now I have to buy bigger plants grom elsewhere spending more money! As no time left for plug plants. I definitely do not recommend this company. I absolutely wasted my money and time for nothing. Since they had advertised in Gardeners World magazine every week I thought it’s a genuine company but unfortunately I was very wrong! Really wish I read online reviews before order from them. The WORST ever I have experienced!! Don’t get caught, they will rip you off and go silence. Now I am going through disputing process with the bank and hope I get my money back at least.

I bought two fuchsia trees I bought two fuchsia trees on the deal. For a neighbour who is a 80-year-old woman who. She was isolating through Covid and needed her garden done. Unfortunately the trees hasn’t shown any green or any blooming. I’ve contacted you garden customer service. And refused to help in anyway no goodwill Help. The customer service is point-blank blunt and rude. I have never experienced service like this there is other companies like Thompson and Morgan and gardening express that will go out the way and help. I am really really disappointed of this company and I will never recommend it to anyone. It also just rings alarm bells on why did they change the name. They’re just going to damage this one as the services twice as bad and it just keeps you thinking of (Did they change their name because of the bad customer service and reputation they have).

Received 2 plants of Stella (cherry). One had almost NO roots, all broken off as if the plant had been ripped out of the ground. I sent YouGarden photographs and they told me that the roots are as they would expect them to be. I was astounded. I will never order from them again.

They say "we commit to sending your order within 7 working days" but if you read the small print it says allow up to 14 days for delivery. Mine arrived 16 days after date of order. I purchased the more expensive (potted) tree in a pot, double the cheapest they had on the website. I thought, at least when it arrives it will be a nice product - how wrong was I. The product on the website showed green leaves and said "as supplied" to one of the photos, so I expected this. The website advised this was the trees flowering season. What I received was a stick with very few branches, no sign of a green leaf, not soon, if even ever. I can't imagine what the cheaper products would be like. They say products are covered by their guarantee, this is in addition to our statutory rights so I'll report back if they are true to this. Given delivery time is misleading and the photo is straight-up false advertising, I won't hold my breath though.

Run away from this seller called 'YouGarden' Does not deserve any star, but only clicked a star so that it will allow me to send my review. Review can only be sent by clicking star, is a big deception and needs to be seen to. Forcefully letting customers give star, even when a star is not deserved. My review about yougarden, I ordered a plum tree for £23.99 and a cherry tree for 22.99 from yougarden through amazon in August 2019, when these trees arrived they were full of plants’ diseases. I contacted seller with pictures of the plants and replacement were sent for the two fruits’ trees. When these replacements came, they were the same, but slightly better than the previous. So, with good intention of being helpful and with the hope that these plants could be revived, maybe they will get better. I then contacted seller to inform them of these two replacements, again with pictures, but that I will treat them and see how it goes. I did it out of good mind not to be a trouble, not realising my good heart will be taken for granted. So seller replied that, they're sorry to hear that the replacement were not any better and have made a note on the order about the condition of the plants just in case I have to contact them again. After I reported the two sets of plants, I cut off all the leaves, treated with food plants and did all possible, yet they're of no good. Even one set (one plum tree and one cherry tree) became sticks - fully dead trees, no life in them. So, since April 2020 I've been contacting seller about these plants that, despite every treatments given to the plants, they're of no good. At a stage seller requested that I should send postage and packaging fee for another set to be sent to me, my reply was that, I won't do such a thing to send money for you to turn my house to be dumping ground for rejects – defective plants. But seller does not want to refund my money as they can only be replaced, saying their plants have lifetime guarantee. This is a guarantee of deception, for quite a while I didn’t hear back from seller, so I contacted amazon, which wasn’t being helpful in getting my money back. I'd been on the phone, chats and emails with amazon, yet no response from yougarden or money showing up. After persistent contacts with amazon, amazon eventually gave me a credit note. So, yougarden will carry on deceiving customers with their sales and amazon sees nothing wrong with this seller carrying on. As at today 28/09/2020 and despite other customers’ pictures and complains, this seller’s still have these two plants on amazon. There’s high stars rating on amazon, I never knew about this site, if I had known about this site I would have been well informed about yougarden. Last week Friday I sent an email to yougarden, as their gardening company is nothing other than a deceitful business, corning people out of their hard-earn money with their dodgy plants that are full of diseases, yet refused to accept their misconducts. As I am receiving letters from them, they should stop sending me mails and take my contact of their mailing lists, only for me to receive one of their patronising emails of a statement which I’ve heard before, yet they did not refund my money. So, if you want plants that will actually grow and yield, do away from this seller. They are deceptive with their lifetime guarantee statement, it is a life guarantee of returns - try-and-errors. DO AWAY FROM THIS SELLER CALLED 'YouGarden' See pictures of two different sets of plum and cherry trees bought from yougarden, through amazon which yougarden is claiming that, they have lifetime guarantee

We ordered a passionflower at £14.99. When it arrived it was almost dead (4 days delivery). I planted it to attempt revival. I rang to complain and immediately a re replacemrnt was offered and accepted. I suggested leaving despatch till Monday to avoid an extra day in delivery which was agreed. 2 days later (Thursday) an email to inform me its despatched. It arrived Monday this time pot was wrapped I polythene to avoid drying out. BUT when it arrived the pot was upside down. This plant is not near death but is of extremely poor quality. No one would buy it over the counter. Totally disgusted with the whole thing. If one of these is worth £14.99. They must be at least £50 when healthy. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

I placed several orders with yougarden all of which took longer than the stated delivery times. OK, I could have lived with that given the situation with the covid pandemic but the condition of the plants on delivery was shocking. All were wilted or dry, looking as if they had not seen any water since the order was placed 3 to 4 weeks earlier. Some appeared to be dead and totally ignored recoverable. I also placed an order with a company called Gardens4you which was delivered in 3 days with good quality healthy plants. What is amazing here is that Gardens4you are in Holland and Yougarden are in Peterborough UK. Speaks volumes about UK attitudes to customers service, doesn't it? The Daily Mail needs to seriously reconsider their relationship with this shoddy organisation.

Damaged plants and the rest in very poor condition. Most have died. They were dry and the smallest plants I have ever seen! Overpriced and took forever to come. No reply to emails, no phone number, until I responded to one of their constant email adverts. This was after 3 weeks. Now my refund will take another 2 weeks. Disgusting.
