It was easy to scan the ISBNs and trade in books. About half of the books I wanted to send were not accepted so they went to the charity shop. It was easy to send and money was sent back quickly.

This is a very useful service if one is clearing and de-cluttering. The collection and payment system is reliable. The challenge is getting the algorithm to accept the ISBN numbers to complete a trade. It is also a pity Ziffit can't accept older books. It will be good if they can revive the payments going to a charity donation.

I sent in two boxes of books to them. Many of them they said were missing parts or components that they weren't missing, and they kept them anyhow and didn't release the money. For example, there was a DVD series with the books inside. The package clearly states the contents, it was all in there, like new... and they rejected it saying it was missing. Also, there were textbooks that they said were missing the dust cover? what?!?! I will probably not use them again, and I am unable to recommend them to others. I listed other books for sale online myself and have already made more money online than the ones they kept. List your books yourself if you have time. You can more truthfully evaluate the items than their evaluators will.

Always been happy with our dealings with Ziffit. The last time we sent books though, the amount was reduced quite a bit, and this is the first time in many transactions that this has happened. How did those items get accepted on our list and then were not acceptable when they were checked? We could have sold on those items separately or given them to get charity money if they were returned. Were they just dumped?

I like the ability save/email lists of items for trade, and I like the overall service the company provides. I wasn't too thrilled with the way my most recent batch was handled. The books I sent were in good condition, some in pristine/brand-new condition, but were rejected for having missing covers. The notification stated the books would be "disposed of." It was really wasteful to dispose books in great condition, and I would have preferred to go through another service that would have actually made use of them. Because the books were in great condition, yet Zifft was reporting them to be in unreadable condition, I wondered if maybe somehow they were severely damaged in transit. If this was the case, I wanted to know so I could take measures to avoid this in the future. I was told the issue would be investigated but no one ever got back to me.

Good company to deal with. Prompt payers. Tends to accept more book titles than some other companies. One minor gripe: I don't like the couriers that they use (DPD)

Disappointed with last trade only received $14 for a $54 quote. Sold before to Ziffit and never had more than a couple dollars rejected.

Easy to sell my CD's by entering the barcode and getting an instant cost. Label printed and parcel will be sent using the free courier service. It's that easy.

I highly recommend Ziffit -such a great idea. I've used it approximately six times and each has been seamless, and I've been delighted. Communication is efficient throughout too. I personally like that the courier collects the boxed books from me making the whole, trouble free.

Ziffit arranged for our order (2 boxes) to be collected Monday, they did not turn up but would come Tues, again, now show, same thing happened Wed and Thurs, by Friday we had 8 boxes needing collection, DPD turned up and he said he had no room in the van, so would return tomorrow. House now cluttered with 8 large boxes and am expecting him not to turn up tomorrow too - terrible.

You are better value than Music Magpie, but you both use the same list with the same mistakes in it: Wrong names, some dvds identified as print cartridges, some booksautomatically rejected however pricey they were originally and you both limit yourselves by rejecting too many items, and do not update your lists sufficiently and both reject any region 'o' dvds. You could do better.
