“i used this site to find a quote and ended with UK GEADBOX Ltd, I would never recommend this company to anyone, im completely disgusted by the service I have recieved, not only did they take twice as long fixing my car but they also charged me twice as much as they said they would. In true cowboy style they quoted me 395 to have a gear box fitted, however they then claimed that the gear box that was in the car was beyond repair, so they would therefore cost me at least another £200, they also told me that other work needed doing. After parting with £835 to just get my car back in working order (they claimed that now everything was taken out it needed to be done) , my car was returned with the wipers not working, so my car was actually now no longer legal for the road. When I called them about this, they denied all responsiblity, and told me to bring the car in, even though the garage is over 50 miles from me, so it would be cheaper for me to pay more to another garage to get fixed. These people really are cowboys and im disgusted with how they have treated me, but also their general alck of manners, bunch of wide boys, and your better off giving them a wide birth!!! And clearly this site does nothing review the people going through it. No care for vetting cvmpanies that can go through it, not even the oppertunity to offer feedback on the garages that should not be allowed to advertise through them”

Hi Keith, We are sorry to hear that you had problem with delivery and price. We 247spares always try to get a best deal for our customers from suppliers but on the other side we 247spares have no control on prices because prices and delivery schedule comes directly from 3rd party (supplier) services. “This is a scam. You are asked to phone a number which is supposed to have the spares you need. They haven't - and the number cost you £1.50 a minute, although it looks like a normal mobile number. They keep you chatting, and say they will check and ring you back - which they don't. You end up with a large phone bill and no spare parts. Don't be fooled.”

“This is the worse place you can order from I have ordered over 7 days ago an yet Do Not have my wingmirror have phoned 3 times and no apologies asked to speak to a manager it rang out. I am being reassured that it was sent first class oven 7 days ago maybe it is coming via pigeon. Would not order from this place service extremely poor and yet no product received still waiting”

“as a parts finding service they do there job. The problem comes when you call the premium rate number to order your part. My advice would be to call the number and as soon as you get through ask them for there landline number, hang up and call again. It cost me 55quid for three phone calls to come up with this. Oh and give them a fake mobile unless your happy to be bombarded with calls and texts for PPI and any other crap.................DONT GET FLEECED BY THESE ROB DOGGIN LOW LIFES LIKE I DID!!!”

“I have just received my telephone bill to discover that I have been charged almost £15.00 for a few minutes call to 247 Spares premium rate numbers!!! This was not made clear on the web site. Trying to make a complaint on the web site is impossible - after several attempts. Not only will I be writing many reviews to deter others from using 247 Spares, but I am going to officially report the company for it's misleading / unethical work practices!”
