They have cut my credit limit in half with no warning despite making on time payments every single month and for more than the minimum because we are trying to get rid of our Bluegreen timeshare.

Barclaycard customer service is nonexistent! On 10/12 and 10/28/2020 my account was fraudulently charged for a total of $375.96. Barclays told me to call the vendor (phone number on my statement) and was told by the vendor to contact Barclays and told by Barclays to send them a detailed letter and they would open a dispute claim. And while the charges were being disputed, I would not be charged interest on them. But on my next statement I was charged $8.56 in interest. Finally, on 01/25/2021, after 3 months of getting nowhere with anyone, Barclays sent me a letter saying they were unable to assist me any further because "the merchant was not given the opportunity to resolve the claim". Three months isn't enough time? I closed the account and said so long to $384.52.

First of all, they cheated me out of a balance transfer, years ago, and shame on me for not closing then, but no kept account open only to have them reduce the available credit limit by 13,000 after 1 late mortgage payment in March 2020... and now trying to get late payment fees on due date payments? WTH who are these people? Closed the account when they cut the credit limit and now they Still want to collect fees for Anything..Bye Bye for Ever and by the way my credit score is still Good enough to forgo anything you have to offer..

I have been a long time customer of a Juniper Barley MasterCard and will cancel after I disputed a charge for $89 and received counterfeit Silver Eagle coins . Barkley sided with the Counterfeit merchant and cancelled my dispute . A manager didnt call me back for over two weeks and then explained they were just following MasterCard rules . Now they want a professional coin dealers opinion before they will open the dispute again . Only thing that was good about this card was my interest rate stayed under 9% the entire time I had it .

This is a terrible company. I have had an American Airlines Barclaycard for many years. But I’m tired of paying a $99 fee and never using any of the benefits. I tried to switch it to another Barclay card, and they said they don’t do that. So I had to cancel the card, or live with a $99 fee. Chase did this for me in a heartbeat.

Applied for the Barclay AA American card while flying with American Airlines on November 6, 2020. Barclays immediately charged the "waived" $99 fee for the first year, posted first payment late and charged $29 late fee and finally never gave credit for the 50,000 miles for applying. Avoid at all cost. I would hope the AA will consider working with another card company.

Terrible customer service, terrible fees and charges and charges for fees! Avoid at all costs. Get Capitol One, Credit One or US Bank. If you account for 1 star as a minimum, their current score is .34

Customer service is horrific! Go with Amex unless you like waiting on hold an hour for the simplest of things. Do not recommend

I received a notice in the mail from Barclays credit card, that if I did not use my credit card it would be closed, and I would lose my points. since I have about 91, 000 points that I did not want to lose. I used the card. Well I was in dispute with a vendor who charged me an excess of $42. I provided proof that I made the payment to Barclays and was charged an excess of $42.00 . This occurred in Oct 2020. I was informed that my case was assigned to an agent on Dec 22. Since then I have been charged a late fee of $40 plus interest of $1.00 by Barclays while the case is still open and in dispute. But what is egregious is that Barclays have reported me as being delinquent in my payment. So instead of my outstanding balance being $42 the disputed amount, the outstanding balance reflected in my account is now $83.00. The original $42 plus Barclays late fee of $40 and interest of $1.00 My credit score has decreased by 38 points. I have emailed Barclays to right the wrong.

This is the worst card yet. Starting with I got it through Apple for the zero interest which you screwed up my Apple rewards to start with after I spent 4K which took over a year to fix and I still didn’t get all I was suppose to. Then I figured I would make it my emergency card after I had the limit raised. So I am a front line worker and it’s been crazy during Covid to say the least so I don’t even know if you sent me a notice you were going to do what you did closing my account but anyway you closed myaccount due to inactivity, so much for emergency credit card. It’s nice to know this is how Barclay treats their front line worker customers and they can’t say it was for anything but what the letter says because I have a 750 credit score and had a 7k limit with 0 balance. This is nice considering I forgave you for your mistake even though it cost me $$ and the fact I spent 1000’s on their card in the past means nothing. Thanks for nothing but aggravation. Comment00

Worst customer service EVeR!!!!!! I ended up screaming at the agents as I could not get an answer and called 3 times for hours! I was trying to dispute a charge. Couldn’t type in the reason. Couldn’t reach anyone to explain- and then they close the case! No phone number to call - just told someone will reach u - and no one did! Horrible! Mad that American Airlines joined with them! Will not use this card again!!!

had issues with them not refunding a charge on what turned out to be a NASTY hotel room. I called them and told them I was leaving because I was shown 2 different rooms; one had a MASSIVE hole punch in the door and the other reeked of pot. They upheld the charges when I stayed less than an hour between moving my things twice. Just saw they wiped out all of the choice hotel points that I DID have. this company is garbage

Horrible customer service. I called to ask for help after they slammed my credit card with $600 in interest during Covid but they told be sorry but there’s nothing they can do. I have never been late with a payment. I will CANCEL this card as soon as it’s paid off. You’re better off going with a different creditcard company.

YOU WILL BE HANGING ON THE PHONE FOR HOURS. LITERALLY. I WAS WAITING TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE FOR AN HOUR 45 MINUTES, THE LINE CUT OOF BEFORE MY ISSUE WAS RESOLVED. REVOLTING!!! DISGUSTING!!!

This Card is the worst card for disputes. Terrible customer support team. Had purchased airline tickets with Kiwi.com and everything was canceled because of Covid 19. I could not get ahold of the company for a refund so I disputed the charge. Barclays took 6 weeks then refused to give it back to me. Told me to contact the company myself. After 2 months of trying to talk to Kiwi they promised I would get a full refund. When I didn't recieve the full refund for my tickets I called Barclays again and they said I had to file for a dispute again and send all the copies of my flight details to them Six weeks later they sent me a letter and told me I was out of my time frame to file. This was after I talked to them in the beginning and they told me I could refile for a dispute. I am going to the Better Business bureau and the Attorney General to file a complaint with Barclays.

Please be careful and check your statements! Following a badly dealt with case of card fraud they’ve been overcharging me interests. This has been going on 3 months. Only today I’ve been on the phone almost 5 hours trying to sort it out. My credit score was also affected. Stay away from these incompetent daylight robbers!

The worst company ever! I had my credit card with them for over 10 years... My credit limit was 10,000. I was never late on any payments for over 147 months and they cancelled my credit card with no notice or reason why! The results of them canceling my card has lower my credit score over 120 points. DON’T GIVE THEM THE CHANCE TO DESTROY YOUR CREDIT TOO!!

Due to a compete lack of customer service, I just cancelled my Barclays Hawaiian Air credit card. AirAsia cancelled my flight and issued a partial refund but refused to explain why only a partial refund. I filed a dispute. After two months of contradictory replies from barclays, at one time I was even told I would receive the disputed amount in 2 days, Barclays said no refund because since I accepted the partial refund it voided all future action! I only filed the dispute in the first place due to the partial refund. A complete lack of customer service when dealing with a shady merchant makes this a worthless card to have
