“Worst experience of my life. I really, really, wish there was a better alternative. Please avoid at all costs. The delivery driver said that they "couldn't find my name on the door" when it's clearly there. I've been in all day, and even saw him go past on the tracker. Then I reached out via live chat and they closed the chat 2 times, and left the situation unresolved. Absolutely unbearably terrible service and even worse customer service!”

“Terrible, We've ordered express and it has arrived 2 weeks later. They were 1 week late and it was kept in customs because they didn't have our name despite us and the providers telling them 5 TIMES our name. They came to our house earlier today and with the parcel in their hands said: "We don't have the name so we can't give it to you." A disgrace, an absolute joke, will never order a parcel that DHL will deliver AGAIN! If there were an option for 0 star, I would give it.”

I was constantly calling to get them to redirect my parcel 08454024902 and was charged in excess of £25 on my next phone bill. Quite possibly the worst customer service I’ve known. They come across as complete amateurs and SCAMMERS!”
“I was sat in at home waiting for my delivery, receiving several messages and emails. All of a sudden I get a message and email saying that they attempted delivery but no one was in?! Totally not true and a blatant lie. I checked out of my windows and saw no sign of a van anywhere so I called their customer service thing. I knew before it started ringing that this was going to be a fruitless effort. Essentially I got a pathetic apology and silence when I pointed out all the wrong with how they are handling it. I have asked for a call back from a manager and expect that to go just as badly if not worse.
I wouldn't have minded if they had actually attempted the delivery but to lie so blatantly and then have office staff back them up is just wrong and no kind of customer service. This feels like theft as I have paid for delivery and I am not getting it or maybe fraud would be the better term.
Do not use them, avoid at all costs and tell everyone else not to use them as well. If you work for them... Why?! It can't be a good job when they can't even perform the most basic of their core business - delivering parcels.
Just appalling in every single way.”

I was overseas and sent a package homeward with DHL to arrive when I returned- it was small enough not to need to pay customs. DHL sent it back without informing me, lied about calling me 3 times, denied any wrongdoing, and refused to refund. I'm a poor student and had to pay over 100$ again. I went with FedEx next, which is far more reliable.”

An "express" item was held between Poland and Dubai with ZERO communication that it was due to my MISSING SURNAME. I had to jump through hoops just to contact the correct customer service representative for them to add my surname to the order. ONLY THEN WILL IT TAKE ANOTHER 48 HOURS TO RELEASE IT, AND BECAUSE IT'S WEEKEND, THE HOURS ONLY START COUNTING FROM MONDAY.

“It is a corrupt company, I got a sending from the UK with €55.55 douane cost, and DHL asked €44.50 for the invoice to make, and it is not the first time that DHL has asked a lot of money for an invoice and when you phone them they say " this is the way we work it normal that we ask money for the invoice"”
“Avoid like a plague. I requested a collection & delivery service to move out from my current apartment. They gave me a notice in the morning that they'll come between 11 to 12. Nobody arrived even after 14pm.
I checked the situation online which said delayed. But when I called, the lady said the driver arrived at 14pm. And probably he won't be able to come and collect the parcels the same day. I decided to cancel the service and called them again. The different lady answered the phone sayiing the driver came at 11am. liers. I am living in a room facing the street so I can see if someone ever comes. What I can say is, they hire unreliable drivers, got broken systems, and dreadful management service. i hope nothing goes wrong at least with the refund process.”
“Parcel was supposed too be delivered today and waited in to sign for delivery. The driver literally just posted a card through the letterbox saying they couldn't deliver as no one home!! I got to the door and called out to the driver, who just got into his vehicle and drove off. I then received an email stating the driver couldn't deliver to my house. This was at just after 10 am. Spent all day trying to contact DHL but they never answer emails or messages on Facebook etc. The customer service number is just an automated premium number that offers no help whatsoever. All I got was the message saying they could not deliver, so contact the seller for information!!! Now in limbo as no idea what is going on.
The worst company to deal with. No wonder they have such awful reviews on trust pilot.
I will never buy from anyone that uses DHL again.

My items was around 80 euros and they took 160euros while sending and again took 98 euros while receiving.

“Scheduled a delivery as I was not going to be home on the date listed for the estimated delivery. No sign of the delivery, despite it being scheduled days in advance. Called their CS line. Got told it had been rescheduled without any notification being sent to me.”
