“Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience with StubHub.
I purchased premium Golden tickets directly through the StubHub website. Not from an individual seller outside the platform. After purchase and after booking long haul flights, I was informed that my tickets were suddenly withdrawn because of an issue with the seller.
StubHub claims they cannot offer equivalent replacement tickets and only offer lower category cheaper seats. At the same time, the exact same Golden tickets are still clearly available on their own website for a higher price. This makes it very hard to believe that comparable tickets are not available. It looks like my valid tickets were cancelled so they can be resold at a higher price, while I am pushed to accept inferior seats.
Their guarantee promises equal or better replacement tickets. That promise is not being honored. I am being penalized as a customer even though I did nothing wrong and purchased in good faith through their platform.
Customer service keeps hiding behind system limitations and scripted responses instead of taking responsibility. For an international trip and a major concert, this level of insecurity and lack of fairness is unacceptable.
I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before using StubHub, especially for high value or once in a lifetime events. The risk is entirely pushed onto the customer while StubHub protects its own margins.”
