“They say you will get tickets before the show. In our case said we would get an email two hours before. Never got a email. Spent 53 minutes on the phone, they had no tickets, we were already at the theater. Refund offered but that does not make up for the terrible experience. Get you tickets another way.”
“They sell tickets to you from third party sellers which never get released to you. You purchase the ticket thinking you have scannable tickets and then you show up to the event and realize you don’t have the barcode to scan. I was furious with stubhub and they never did anything to resolve the issue. Never purchase tickets through this company.”

“Terrible. Resold tickets at a loss due to medical emergency. Apparently tickets required me to upload links for them for the new buyer, which I never received those links from my original purchase. Contacted Stub Hub 5 (!!!) times asking for help. Mind you, tickets were expensive and I was willing to sell them for a loss. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. AVOID STUB HUB.”
“Bought concert tickets and parking pass for my son and tickets never came he was at the stadium until show time to be told that the tickets were not available and the replacement tickets were in no where near what I had brought so we opted for a refund. However when I asked about the parking refund I was told no because we used it of course we used it to get in the stadium to get tickets that weren’t available parking should also be refunded since we didn’t get to see the concert but they said NO very disappointed especially since it was a first concert”
“BEWARE of StubHub: I purchased parking passes almost 1 month in advance of the event. The e-mail which contained a link to retrieve the passes was sent nearly 1 hour AFTER THE EVENT WAS CONCLUDED that evening!
The StubHub customer service representative who answered my call the next morning spoke broken English and informed me that, because I didn't contact customer service THE DAY OF THE EVENT, I likely wouldn't get a refund.
This is truly a scam, and--based on multiple comments below and on other ratings sites--not a unique occurrence but probably an intentional business decision.”
“If I could do a negative rating I would. Tickets were priced the same as Ticketmaster, and parking tickets were frauds. When I filed for the 100% guarantee I did not realize it was 100% guarantee you would be cheated and ignored. I WILL NEVER USE StubHub again”
“Concert was postponed for a year. They don't consider this cancelled, they consider it rescheduled so they wouldn't refund me despite this statement on their website: Every order is 100% guaranteed.

“I purchased tickets for an event for January 2025. It was cancelled and rescheduled several times. StubHub always informed me ahead of time when the event was changed. That was until today. They gave me 25 minutes notice that the event was occurring today. I live further than that away from the venue and had to get someone from another household as well. They did not think that was a legitimate reason for me not to go and would not refund my money. Acknowledged that I had no notice but that was my problem not theirs.
I will never do business with this company again nor do I recommend anyone else do it.”

I did that and still received nothing. Even though they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee they did not deliver. I never received my tickets and did not get refunded. A complete scam of a company.”
“Buying a ticket was easy, selling was a whole different story! Will never do again. The auto response for customer service is the same no matter what. Very few of the directions actually matched up to the app choices. Transferred my ticket SO many times I lost count. I understand the concept of customer service over the phone, but after 2, 30 minute phone calls I got really tired of the girl apologizing for me being on hold and thanking me for my patience. I just wanted to get my issue solved so I could get to my concert and the seller to his.”
“Stubhub will only let you down. Their representatives will promise you that your ticket is on the way, but it’ll never show up. If you want to actually attend your event, choose another place to buy your ticket. They do give you a refund which is nice… but not when you are outside your venue and ready to go in... this is a major inconvenience . I messaged them 8 hour prior to my event and spoke to four different reps. I even said that I needed to know id my tocket was coming before going to the venue and they promised it was. Three of the reps promised tickets on the way via email…. an email never came. Save yourself the stress, stay away from stubhub. I have never experienced such a terrible company and customer service.”
“Similar to other experiences with 1 star ratings. My ticket transfer was “cancelled” from Ticketmaster even after I accepted tickets. Supposedly the seller violated terms. Instead of getting my refund or being able to purchase new tickets from StubHub, they jerked me around up until 20 minutes before the show on show date. The “day of” show I talked to 4 different customer service agents who promised me different things. It’s currently 20 minutes until the show and still no call back (no one has ever called me back as promised after 8 different phone calls over the last month), no “link” to buy new tickets, and no refund at this point. Never felt more “taken advantage” of by a company. I missed my opportunity to see my favorite artist perform all because StubHub wants to wait till the very last second to offer anything, until it’s too late to even go. We are still waiting and I’m sure by the time we talk to anyone again, it will be in the middle of the show and then hoping for a refund. I would have used any other company or bought new tickets if I knew this would happen. So incredibly disappointed. I’ve never written a negative review before, and it comes with grief over not seeing my favorite artist. Shame on this company for ruining fans experiences.”
